Anything but my character name would probably be best as I switch out characters every so often.

I'm sorry I wasn't on in time to add the shadows and such. I hope the wardrobe didn't make it too hard. :(
Haha, yay Hannah's! :D
Two Hannah's and an Anna? Oh goodness... I have to admit, I kind of think of you guys mainly by character names...
And oh dear, I always think of you as Max... Because honestly, GuardianAngels isn't so easy to shorten into a name. Unless I went with Ann or Gels (I guess it could be a new version of Giles?)... And I'm terrible at remembering people's REAL names...

Haha, I use those two shadows in almost every one of my HA's... If you type in "shadow" in the search bar under all, the different shadow vials usually show up in the first page. I think they're technically all in the ground layer, also...
Without them, I feel like HA's usually look so disconnected from their background... Pasted on, instead of actually present...

Or Angel. I mean, if there's a vampire named Angel, I could be called that too right?
I have two other characters I'll swap out over time. There's Jace, a proper gentleman who's a Butterfly Bruise and has wings, and his spazz, non-dead, child-hearted sister Kate who gives me a reason to dress up as whatever :3
Frieda from Organized Chaos knows me through the siblings.
But, I get the same thing at work and home/close friends. My nickname for each is a different half of my name, and when I tell one side my other nickname, they each respond with, "you don't look like a _____"

Angel, yeah, I suppose so... :)

;) Don't worry, I think I'll stick with GA if that's okay. (heh! rhyme..) reads more.. Ooh! Why didn't I think of him? Yeah, Angel's cool too. :) Hmm, I'd like to meet this Jace and Kate sometime, but I think my first character name thought will be Max for a while. -_-' So lucky to have nicknames.... The most I have is "munchkin" from my dad (you know, those creepy little orange dudes from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory?). [And yes, I'm out of college, living away, and he still calls me that...le sigh ..doesn't help I'm short..muttermutter] :p
:) Calling me Sky is fine. I picked that name because I tend to day dream (hence the name), and like to stare at the sky (plus it's easier for me to remember my own character name..). I might try some shadows in the future. goes to check on prices
Looking at everyone's HAs, and have to say the colors and overall of your avi has looked so peaceful for a while and it makes me smile. :)
GA, I like the jacket. It looks familiar, was it out of one of the shops?
And Raine! Fabulous avi. ;) Very cute. That's also one of the first times I've seen that bow used so nicely.
Its out of the Steamwork Menagerie. Its designed off the jacket Howl wore in Howls Moving Castle. There's the actual pink one in the shop.

Getting caught up on all my wayward/wayward related pings now. got a lot of tabs to read. XD
Thank you so much! ^^ I love this HA and even if I change it odds are I'll go back to it later.
I want to say I'm sorry for being out of touch for a while.
Things ...well, without going into details the issues in my life kind of snowballed and I've been trying to play catch-up. I'm not always good at voicing my thoughts, but I wanted to say how deeply sorry I am for disappearing for so long. I hope I can still be helpful in the rp. I'll head over to the discussion and other threads after this.
Hey there, glad to see you're back! Don't worry, lots of people have been away. We have until next week sometime to submit our rp, so we still have a bit of time to work on something. I'm not sure how many of us are around, though!

I would also like to apologize for my inactivity. I sMailed the other day, but there is a lot going on in my life and to be very frank, I have not been in a good place. I'm trying to get the help that I need though. I'm going to try and participate in the RP more before the deadline comes if I can.
Sending virtual hugs your way. Life hasn't been too kind to anyone it seems. :(
Yeaay... been sick (cold?) all weekend to today, and I just found we have ants in one of our food cabinets. We've had them before and poisoned the whole trail (leading outside the cabinet and to the ceiling). This time they took the back route (literally). The very back, top corner on the inside of the (same) cabinet has the Tiniest little spot of a hole with a little trail to our cereal. I (again, sick. coughing, like hard to breathe sometimes) get to poison them this time. FUN.
^_^" Please forgive my little ant rant. It's just...ANTS. They keep coming like the freaking song (marching on and on and on...).
Not kitten around... :P
Okay, so I kinda wanted to talk/write this out because I'm not entirely sure how to feel about this. (Probably sad.)
The kitten that I posted about seemingly ages ago...well, this is an update, I guess. So, we had him pretty much locked in my bathroom for about a month (?). We had him tested, and he had worms we needed to take care of, and the one of my two sisters who already owns a cat didn't want 1. him spreading something to the other cat and 2. (after we learned he was clean) didn't want the other cat to have separation anxiety when we found him a new home. Which she probably will, seeing as she had some after the stray at our window disappeared. (Praying he is in a good home now. He was friendly to everyone, but disappeared before we had the den space cleared for him.)
Anywho, the kitten was finally moved to the (Finally!) newly cleaned out den (walled garage) that we had taken the carpeting out of. It now has a nice black and white checkered tile floor that he loves to run around on. [I would too, after being stuck in a bathroom so long.] He has nice air-conditioning and plenty of random extra blankets my sister put out there for him to learn new textures and stay warm when needed. We also put a hollowed out stump of an apple tree out there that he loves to curl up in and play around with. Over time, we had gotten him a few small balls. (There are two that are his favorites, and he carries them around. ^^) And he loves to slide around on the fabric material that (somehow) ended up out there with him. He's probably going to pounce whenever someone tries to make a bed, now. ;) [Though, he also tries to escape when he can because he wants to be where the people are. (I guess he's a Little Mermaid cat ^^)]
To put it simply, I've fallen in love with him. [Not as much as my sister (without the cat) who's practically been his surrogate mom and whom he loves.] But, neither her nor I can financially support him right now. [So far, it's been the sister who already has a cat that has done the vet bills and food, etc.] I've known from the start that 'we were to find him a home', but I have a hard time not getting attached. [I fall hard and fast for pretty much all critters. I still remember a dog I cared for for three hours when I was a kid. Named him Brownie and everything. 'Till the dog catcher showed up. P: Shoot, I even have a certain attachment to the wild critters around our home.]
sigh He needs neutered, blood work, and we finally got pictures and a poster made. Right now, it's almost a matter of time before someone says they want him. I can only pray he goes to a good home, where he is happy and healthy and cared for. There's more I want to say, but (as you might tell) I'm a little emotionally (stretched? is that it?).. ^_^' Thanks for reading this far, if you have. going off to distract myself with cuddles while I can
:D Yo! What's up everyone? On this fine Saturday morning, I realized it's been a few days, it seems, since I've talked to any of you. I initially got on here to say 'hey', but I should also let you know that there is an update on the Team Rosters and Scoring thread. ^_^ Great work everyone!
Anywho, :) How's it going? I know things seemed a bit rough in your last post here. bear hugs because because ;) ^^' I think you said, in another post, but I seem to lose track of where some posts are. How was your sister's wedding? :) [If I've already asked, please say so, ==' I tend to overthink sometimes and forget if I've already had a conversation, or if it was all in my head....just realizes how weird that sounds.. X'D ] Also, I hope your weekend is going great! :D :) What's up in your neck of the woods? ^_^ I want to thank you for being our leader during this squirrely event. You've done a wonderful job at keeping us on track, informed, and being there even when some of us couldn't make it. Though I'm not always great with words, I hope you understand how much your appreciated. Hugs :)
It went well. I was afraid there was going to be drama with certain people showing up, but everyone stayed civil....for the most part. Literally everyone in my family has had a divorce and remarried/has a fiancé, including my parents. In the case of my parents, it was recently and not really mutual. I'm hoping my sister will break the divorce trend. I kinda enjoy my new brother in law, he's a gamer too. We had a sign at the wedding that said "pick a seat, not a side." But that was also to encourage our families to mingle.
There was only one thing that actually urked me and that was the amount of family telling me I need to dance. I don't dance and can't dance, and unless its slow music, I will not dance. I don't care if I'm one of the honors or the oldest sibling. Plus, I'm quite socially awkward to the point I might be verbally autistic (If that's a thing. If you ever hear me speak, you might notice I say some words out of order). At one point, I had to tell my grandmother that if she didn't stop, I was going to go sit with the grooms family, who are wonderful people (really, everyone on his side of the family are sweethearts), because I never heard then say I need to dance.
Anyway, I'm baby sitting her puppers now, who is alseep and somehow taking up a queen size bed to herself, but a great bed heater now that our nights are hitting below the 40s. I don't know if my sister noticed this yet, but puppers is a very restless sleeper. She chases squirrels in her sleep. She doesn't bark or growl, but makes these bubble blowing sounds, its cute x3
Also, Sky, we can't see that other ping, we're not part of...whatever group that is. It won't tell us ^^;

"XD Oh shoot.. sorry. I didn't realize it wasn't in the public forums. I had found out on the last day of signups (Oct.7) that we were having our quarterly 'santa swap'; this theme being morostide. It's called 'secret santa' because it started a couple years ago during luminaire, but we've kinda kept it going throughout the seasons. Perhaps around luminaire-time you all might like to join? It's called the Riles Secret Santa (or RilesSS) forum group.
Aaaanywho... ^^'
:) I hope things go well with them too. I would think it helps having her brother approve of him.
Oh dancing.. I think I get, kinda. Slow music, you can't go wrong. Other dances...I usually have no idea what to do with my arms. I, personally, am the kind that is willing to 'dance' at home, but in front of others? Nope. ^^" And socially awkward? Honestly, I think most people have some form of it. There's just those that are better at hiding it. (Me not being one of them :P )
Hmmm.. non-judgey family-in-law (if that's what you call them), sounds like a nice group to visit during Thanksgiving. ;) And, Aaaaaw! I can just see a cutie puppers doing that. ^//^ They Do make great heaters in the winter. Snuggle time!
:) I like your avi, btw!
Yeah, everybody has been SOOOOOO busy. GreenRowan just pinged again for Chapter 10, so I think there are other teams who haven't posted anything yet. I totally panicked and thought I'd missed a new chapter entirely.. :O But no, just a few more people whose schedules have gone crazy... :O
Ants... Have you tried the traps that are little houses? The ants crawl inside, find the poison, and then, because it's kind of slow acting, they can actually carry it back to their nests, poisoning everyone there. We've always found that kind super effective when they sneak into our kitchen. Seems like every few years, an industrious group of them find their way to the cat food bowls, and try to steal the cat food there. But those traps are super safe, so the cats can't get the poison out. We just put them closest to where the ants are originally coming from.
As for the kitty... Oh man, I'd fall for him, too! I don't think it's possible not to. Honestly, every time I've wanted a specific cat to join our home, I've just gotten my mom to hold the little creature, and that's been enough to convince her... I totally pulled the same trick on my hubbie when I wanted kittens here in Switzerland. He was very on the fence, very I-don't-know'-if-we-can-afford-it, but after he held the little babies, he was sold on it... Neutering and such can be expensive (though boys are way cheaper than girls to fix), but why does he need bloodwork? You mean the leukemia check, or other stuff? Anyways, I would totally want to keep him, too, and you should totally check price estimates before you completely rule him out... But if you're REALLY REALLY strapped for cash, then yeah, just remember that it'll be good for him in the long run to have a real family... We often have to give up things to make those we love happy, and I guess it might just have to be like that... :/
Honestly, for me, the biggest thing about our kitties was that they were like anti-depression meds for me... I really need to have something soft and fluffy running around the house and being full of energy. :O I mean, before we got the kitties, I spend I don't know how many days a week in bed... Like even when I had classes to teach, sometimes, I would get to class, and come home, and then I just couldn't convince myself to do anything else, so I'd crawl back in bed for most of the afternoon... It was pretty bad. Since having the kitties (we've had them a little over a year now), I've only had a few stay-in-bed days, and even with my hubby away all week long (mandatory army duty, you suck), I've still only had a few hours of I-have-to-be-in-bed time, which is pretty much amazing...
Lol, leader stuff... I always seem to wind up being group leader, because I can't stand to lose or fail. :O So if things aren't getting done, well, I usually just do them. :P This has been a BIT more work than I expected, lol, but I think we've done a pretty good job, even as busy as we've all been! And it has been a fun event. :)
Glad the wedding went well. :) Wait, there was a ping you couldn't see? What ping? Not a ping from me? I hope I didn't accidentally ping SqlTales people from the HA event I made... If it's anything I've put up relating to Wayward Squirrels, you should have access...
OH WAIT, do you mean a morostide ping? I got a ping to some morostide thing or something that I couldn't access... Ah, yeah, okay. :O
I totally get the not-wanting-to-dance thing... I mean, I was a ballet dancer growing up, and through college, and I love to dance... like that, anyway. But club dancing, that I can't do. I look silly if I try to dance in a "cool" way. And ballroom dancing is REALLY hard. If I have a class, I can figure it out, but then I always forget how it goes later, so I wouldn't want to be put on the spot and forced to dance either...
