Thank you! I'm sorry to hear you were sick. Are you feeling any better?
I don't know if he ran away or not. Maybe? But there are other cats in the neighborhood the same coloring, and many that do have outdoor cats (or maybe half outdoor half indoor?). You can find some cats hanging around one house or another on their porch.
I would come kidnap the kitten if I was closer and could financially support it. I get along well with cats and love them, but never had one. All I have is mums little man (white fluffball dog), who thinks he's part cat. He's already part mop when his hair get long.

^_^ That's okay, we'll keep looking out for the little guys as much as they'll let us.
My grandmother has a dog that thinks it's part cat. She was raised on their farm and they had a whole crew of cats. So whenever she was outside the cats took care of her.
;) Hehe! Mop like dogs are adorable. (Shoot, all dogs are adorable, but I have a weakness for fluffy and hound types.) My cousin had a Yorkie that mopped the floor when her hair was long, so she ended up with just her lower half trimmed most times. It was funny to see this little fluff running around on such tiny legs. (Oh dear, I could go for a while on pets, dogs in general, I'll stop here.) ;)
Well, we got some canned kitten food for the little one (if he ever gets close enough for us to give it to him), and some more kibble for the big one for now. :)
Hehe! ;) I see it, and oh! is he adorable! I like the tie.
I don't have pictures available on this computer, but our Miss Not Really a Cat is half Norwegian Elk Hound and half Pug. ^_^" At least your little pup is close in size to a cat.
Distraction! 'XD Looked at your avi again (love), and figured I need to go change my avi again. Then realized how appropriate the clock behind you is for our current 'clockwork dolls' issue. :P Hmm,,, what to do..
My HA is probably going to stay like that till the next big event....or Halloween.

Update of me. :(
I just found out this afternoon that my dad was laid off from his work. I am really close with my immediate family, more-so than anyone else; and I pretty much grew up hearing about the different people at his work, going to Christmas parties, and knowing some of them like close friends of the family for the last twenty years. Now that the son of the company's founder has taken over, he says they're "taking the business in a new direction" (which I can't think of many 'new directions' they could take with that type of business). My dad was given the option to accept being laid off and leave, or pretty much promise not to ever bad-mouth the company ever and get the rest of his pay, benefits and everything for the rest of the year (tax free I think they said). I don't know about anyone else, but that sounds like bribery to me, and I get the feeling that may not be entirely legal. But they kinda have a reason behind that, as my dad knows all of the business' dirty secrets and could get them shut down if he wanted. He cared about this company enough to fix things so that they were actually legal and wouldn't get in trouble so many times over the years, it's ridiculous. I wasn't able to talk to him when I went by earlier, because he was talking to a lawyer, so I don't know if there's any more to it.
Please pray for my family. This affects more than just him. (and not just he and mom's lifestyle) They helped many people and were giving as much as they could afford to many different organizations, various people in the family, and random people they met that needed their help. Yes, they save money, but there's always that piece of the house that needs fixed etc. sigh I'm sorry I just threw a bunch of emotional stuff for me out there again, but I needed to get it out. Thank you for listening if you read this far.
Oh dear, , that sounds really stressful... :( I hope that in the end, things somehow work out... :/

Before I post anything on that thread about what Rowan said, no one from our group has accused anyone of stealing or cheating, right? I doubt anyone has, but I'm covering my base

I haven't... in fact I always make a point to avoid looking at other HA entries until after mine is all done to avoid unintentional inspiration.
sending lots of hugs your way. :(
I honestly don't even look at the other entries or posts. I might scroll down a chapter or two later out of curiosity and go 'ooh! pretty!', but that's about it. That issue was kinda surprising to me.
Thank you . :) And thank you as well. I hope so to. I don't know my dad's entire job history, but this might be the first time he hasn't left a job by his own choice. He's 62 and I honestly don't know how that would affect him. Former military, he tends to keep some things inside but is outspoken on others. The short time I saw him this weekend I didn't even bring it up for worry it would upset him. He acts normal, but it kinda feels like the calm before a storm. Or maybe like you've been pushed off a cliff. (I'm obviously not working the analogies all that great this late at night.)
Going to get some sleep now as it's apparently a requirement to live and work (which I have now that's schools started up again). Night ya'll! .....zzzzzzz........
I don't think it was anyone in our group making the complaint... Loads of groups used the stagelights in their final version (ourselves included), though, so I'm a little afraid that might have been one of the complaints. But honestly, stagelights for a ballet-themed HA are kind of a given, so I dunno...

Okay everyone, since I'm heading to bed, I've sent in and posted our answers, and I've locked the related boards.
Feel free to chat here (about the current chapter or ANYTHING else) until the next update from GreenRowan. :D

So, I came home yesterday to a feral kitten in my shower. (Luckily, we have two bathrooms in this house.) We took it to the vet today and found it's only about 3 months old. It was freaking out so much, though, that they didn't even try to take it out of the crate. Confirmed he's a boy though! :) We don't know for sure, but the vet gave us some deworming just in case, since he lived outside. I'm trying to make sure my sister (the one who caught him) is the one to clean up messes and feed him, but since that room is connected to my bedroom.... I get the lovely life lesson of what kittens can smell like, and sound like meowing at night. =_=' But he's so pitiful (yet fiesty) I can't help but want to help the little guy. sigh I am such a sucker.. Well, off to sleep, hopefully....zzzzzzz....
Totally missed the picture of your dog earlier, I do believe... He's adorable, though. And what a face!!!
Aw, poor kitty. How did he wind up in your shower?

:) He had been hanging out on our back porch for a little over a week and one of my sisters finally caught him. He's doing better now, but still going through the mess of getting rid of worms. ><" Last night, I was just trying to feed him and go to bed, but he decided it was time to cuddle and 'No, I would rather sleep on YOUR lap with my messy tail and paws' and 'No, I don't really care that your bathroom floor is cold and hard and I have a crate to sleep in'. ^^" Again, anyone nearby want a cuddly kitten? Hehe..
Haha, oh dear. Well, he sounds lovely, even if he's still rather messy...

^_^ Since it was locked and I didn't feel like unlocking it, I posted here. ;) Hehe! He IS a man (song in head now, thanks), and you seem to be on a lucky team where we didn't put you in a dress (like a certain other team with a cute but disgruntled looking dancer). Your post made me laugh. :) reads more But why wear boots when he has such nice legs? ;)
Yeah, :) I'm fine with that. Sorry I didn't get on yesterday. Good find on the shadows. That's one of those items I would think 'Wow, that could be useful at some point', but then be unable to find when I actually want it.
She looks good . :) Completely off previous topic, but something I've wondered. We call people by their usernames for the most part, or character names in this group. But I've been wondering how I should be think-pronouncing your name? I've been thinking "Bay-Mac" or "Bay-Mac 83". Is that okay? confuzzled and curious over here _ Edit: gasp have I asked this before? goes back to check...
