Thanks everyone I will be here as much as possible but maybe not when the days I am really tired. Hopefully I have a couple of years left in me.
To many people have shown the doctors wrong, so show them they dont know what their talking about when it comes to you.
I have lasted longer than a lot of their patients, some of their patients died in their early stages of the cancer. My Oncologist was amazed considering the breaks I had from the treatment.
I have fought the little brats for 7 years everyone up at the hospital are surprised I fought it that long they have not had anyone like me up there,I laughed at them and told them they should be glad there is no other like me.One of me is enough. lol
Your spirit, and strong will is a force to be reckoned with make them stand up and take notice. I love your spunk and sassy (my fellow sassy sister) attitude!
When I was injured in the military, my dr said I healed faster than a lot of his patients. My attitude was heal fast, because if one more person does something I normally do I am going to lose my temper. I dont like people doing things for me, when I able to do it. While injured I cleaned my kitchen floor sitting on the floor and scooting around, but hey it got done.
Hopefully a much longer time than this! You are one of the Lair Bears, they don't give up.
I am the same when I was really bad with the side effects Darren did everything for me,I hate not being able to do things myself. But in saying that I am going to have to let people help me,My Oncology Nurse is going make arrangements for me with Macmillan cancer support for when Darren is working away.
@blackwolf_2009 Thanks honey I hope I am here longer I will still fight this thing not going to sit back now
I know over the years, I have had to let someone help me when I wasnt feeling good and it grated my last nerve when I have to give in.
It is a terrible thought but sometimes there is a point when all that the treatments do is exhaust you. I hope that you have more time left than you might expect but I know that the rest of your days will be filled with love. Do everything that you love as many times as you can and know that we will always be here for you when you need us.
None of us really know how long we have, The important thing is to make each day count. Whenever you can be here with us, it's a gift, and we will always be here for you. <3
My mind is kind of scattered here. Been focusing on my sister and the family for weeks now and hard for me to get back into the swing of things. Karen is not doing a lot better. Nauseous this morning and has had to use oxygen since she got back home on Friday. Her body is aching and covered in bruises as well. Still having to get the parasentesis as the TIPS hasn't really started working right. Keep praying that it will start working.
I have sent numerous texts to Laurie in the past few weeks but no response. Will try calling her again probably today. Not sure what is going on with her.
Life is short... Count your Blessings, Love your family and friends and lend a helping hand whenever you can!

Am keeping your sister in the front of my thoughts and prayer. For some time I have wanted to ask you how Laurie is but have been afraid to and have not wanted to ask you as your sister is so ill. Miss Laurie more than I can say, God keep her well if not with us.
I prayer for the TIPS to work for your sister and her health improves. Thanks for the update on Laurie! I hope you reach her. My other concern are you taking care of yourself, you need to rest and eat balanced meals.
still sending prayers to you and with lots of gentle hugs.
THanks y'all. I'm trying but as you know laundry is a neverending story at my house and had my youngest granddaughter's 1st birthday this weekend. Had over 50 people here. There is always something to do around here. If y'all want to look at video and pics on my Facebook my name is Alisa Myers. I'm an old white grandma with salt and pepper hair. Feel free to send an invite.
