You are so fortunate! Just please protect your eyes and see it for those of us that will not see a complete eclipse!
How exciting to be in the path!
Here it will only be partial. We get wildfires that block out more light.
well if my recording turns out ok I will try to figure out a way to post it up for everyone to see if they want to watch it ... the eclipse has already started here it has been about 30 minutes into it right now

I saw 99% of totality about 20 mins ago. Awesome!
I can't believe this I am outside kinda keeping an eye on whats going on and you guys won't believe this there are massive storm clouds moving across the area right now blocking it out I don't know if there will be a break in the clouds for me to get a good recording or not

yes it was ... the clouds moved out about a half hour before the total eclipse happened so it turned out I got to see it after all... I said I was going to record it but I looked it up and it said I needed a special lens for my camera

Congrats on getting to see 100%! What a rip of we were suppose to have 60 % strength of the eclipse. We got maybe 5-10%. But then when it eclipsed last time I was in Montana, so I got to see a full eclipse.
Last week I saw a partial eclipse of the moon on our side of this marble. It's magnificent. It gets me thinking about how small humans are in the big picture.
I am really glad I got to see this ....
I know what you mean about this small marble we live on I have been watching how we have a telescope orbiting Saturn that is going to crash into the planet it is sending the pictures back to NASA before it does it final decent it is suppose to take some pictures of the rings of Saturn and it's moons I can't wait to see those pics

^_^ So cool! We only got about 90% coverage here. Looking through the glasses I got it actually seemed like the moon was kinda swirling around the sun (like you'd stir a glass of milk w/chocolate). Did that even make sense? : But I don't think I was out during the peak here. I saw it in varying crescents at different angles. I wish I could have looked at it more (I'm the type that stares at the moon trying to make out the mountains there), but didn't want to chance my eyes. Please be sure to wear protective glasses! :) And have fun! <3
...aaand just realized the time and you've already seen it. ^_^' Well, I'm glad you had fun, and that's cool about the pics from space. I'd like to see those too.
I love looking at the stars where I live out in the country I can see all of the stars at night I get out my binoculars and looks at stuff all the time I want to get a nice telescope so I can look at some different planets I think that would be cool

:) When I was a kid, my dad got a telescope from somewhere (garage sale?). It was fun to use, but it pretty much just made the white dot in the sky (star) bigger. After a few years we used the binoculars if we wanted to see anything a little better. But it was a toss up of steady w/ the telescope or wiggly stars and moon w/ binoculars. ^^' I think my favorite times was when we were able to go out to my grandparents farm, way out in the lot away from light, and look up. I felt like I could see the whole galaxy ..(well, some of it ;) ). Though my dad said the deserts in the middle east were great for seeing horizon to horizon stars. ** <- my happy face Sorry, I get into it a bit. I don't actually know as much as I'd like about stars, but they are a wonder to view. :) I am a bit envious of your ability to see them so well. I live in a city where I'm happy to see Orion or the Dippers (if that).
:) Glad to hear it went well. Patience young padawan. For your strength to grow again, Patience there must be. ;) Good luck with the physical therapy!
So many didnt get to see it, and sometimes it can be a once in a life time thing. They are talking about it happening again in 2024.
Hello. We got to see it here too.Only about 80%.One of our friends had some welders goggles and i had a look just before it was at the center of the sun.Pretty cool to see.
It just got a few shades darker here. BUt I made sure to bring the dogs in, need to protect their eyes and keep them from howling at the moon with the rest of the neighbor dogs. I didnt know I would get cheated on the eclipse. In any case, just happy they were to protect their eyes. Roxy is an old lady and she doesnt need her eyes to get worse.
Ugh crocheting and trying to do all the quests dont mix very good. I have crocheting most the day, and now running to get quests done.
