We were out in the snow building snowmen, igloos and slip sliding on the ice. Heck Montana born and bred, we trick or treated in the snow if need be.
Heheh, Texans as a rule don't handle cold very well. At least my family doesn't.

I have been in Texas long enough, I have lost the ability to deal with ice and snow like I used, too. LOL
Heheh, we are a tad wimpy in that direction.

Although in my neighborhood, I am the only one shoveling the drive and sidewalks, right after it finishes snowing. Plus clean off all the cars on the drive. People drive by like what are you doing that for and how come? They figure it out after its starts to melt and freezes again.
I don't get out in the winter these days for health reasons, but even when I did snow doesn't last long here.

Thats what I like the snow doesnt last long here. I do it, because I dont want to slip and fall on my fanny or have someone fall in front of the house.
nods Sound thinking. Do you get much snow there?

We get snow once a year, and its usually a good foot. But like the rest of Texas it doesnt last but a few days. Just enough to cause accidents all over the city. But heck that happens when it rains, too.
Yep, Texans as a rule can't drive on snow!
Off for a bit, back later.

I learned to drive in the snow, part of being from Montana. But people here in El Paso are driving challenged at best and rain, snow and sunshine or a bend in the road makes it worse. LOL Cya later
It doesn't seem to be as active as it used to be...

Pretty good. I'm hoping that the rain will let up soon for at least a day or two. Give us time to dry out.

Finally got my sister Karen's TIPS procedure scheduled. August 17th at 7:30 am she has to be at the hospital. Procedure will be done sometime around 9 am and she has to stay overnight for observation. I'm a bit upset as I just got through reading about this procedure. Both the side effects could lead to death. Not crazy about that at all. Keep us in your prayers.
Life is short... Count your Blessings, Love your family and friends and lend a helping hand whenever you can!
