The air has been so bad here in Fresno where I am visiting my Author for the Summer. The new report came out and it said that California had the hottest July on record for it's average temperature. Fresno broke many records this year, 29 consecutive days over 100, with two days under a hundred and back already with two weeks of consecutive 100+ temperatures.

Air quality has been orange now since July 29 and the authorities say it will only get better once all the fires are extinguished. Cal Fire says that the Mendocino Complex, now the largest fire in California History and the Carr Fire and the Ferguson Fire (near where I live) will probably continue to burn into October.

I want to move to the coast. It was 63 there yesterday.

I Love some Ale especially those Little Kings Cream Ale in 7 oz bottles they go down so nice and easy

I am quite fond of English Pub Style brown ales, the nutty brown kind that isn't too bitter. Is Little Kings is served cold? My elder cousin, Poppy Wheezle brews a English Pub Style ale in barrels. It's always fresh, served at about 45 degrees, has a very creamy thick head, low hops, and made entirely from barley (no corn or wheat). It's not too carbonated, and it is carbonated strictly by secondary fermentation (we have no CO2 abilities here in Glen Meadow). He does add some herbals to it, some secret recipe that he concocted, which is why it's called Poppy's Famous Wheezle Brew.

Are all the Bears on vacation? I am. I'm on holiday with Weldon until September. I am staying down in the Big Vally with my Author, Mark and his mate Francine. I'm glad we did because the smoke in Glen Meadow is so much worse then it is down here. And the temperature difference isn't all that much, it's been upper 90's even at higher elevations (Glen Meadow is 4000-5000 ft). So it's six of one and a half dozen of the other these days it seems. But being away from Glen Meadow makes me very unavailable if there is a crisis, which is a plus. Sometimes Healer's Hall can invent a crisis in there efforts to lure me back to work during my vacation.

I have been battling my main pet mostly, but have been working on stats for another pet to use.

I feel numb mentality to many time changes and travel, I feel like a sleepy zombie. Rinse repeat leave on the 16th of August to EGypt again for a much longer stay.

Little Kings may be available in Fresno but I don't know I stopped drinking a long time ago but the are an acquired taste they don't taste bad just a lot of people don't like ale they come in little green bottles and yes 7 oz is a half pint well an ounce under

I wish sometimes, but I do enjoy time with his family and being at the beach. We will be there long enough that I will be able to recoup and relax.

OK, it's nearly midnight, everybody in the house is asleep...I'm going to go out to the cement pond and see if the fish come out at night, because they sure as heck don't come out in the daytime. I think they are afraid of Kreepy Krawly, the blue mechanical monster that eats the leaves off the bottom of the pond. Kreepy is sleeping now and I just got to spear a fish! I haven't had any fish for weeks. Although, we had bacon and sausage and eggs for breakfast today... I want some fresh fish!

Well, my sister unexpectedly showed up on Wednesday and insists I actually spend time with her so I've not been on the computer. She'll be here for about a week but right now she's playing a game on her phone so I snuck in here. It's my oldest sister, Lanette, and she likes to come down at least once a month to see me and our mom. She just retired last July and kinda lonely, rattling around her house while her hubby is at work.
