I learned cursive writing in third grade in Texas!
I'm 22. I know how to write cursive. They taught us in 3rd grade, in public school. I forgot how to write in cursive until I went to high school. I had to relearn because my high school required it (which is really abnormal here).
I learned cursive in school, 3rd and 4th grades I think, in a public school. I turn 28 this month.
My handwriting is forever shifting stylings. Last week it looked similar to my ex's. This morning when I wrote out a call slip it looked like my mother's (which is quite a feat as I'm the only left-handed person in the immediate family). If I'm rushing I tend to mash the cursive and print together. The only real constants in my writing are capital Gs are always printed, capital Ws look almost like they hopped off a Wonka Bar, and the Y at the end of my last name can easily be mistaken for a lower case J.
I learned cursive writing in public school in the first, second and third grades. I'm 26 now and literally the only time I use it is for my signature...

I never was directly taught cursive last year in school but I know how to write my first name in it because my language arts teacher last year had a strip with the letters of the alphabet on it in cursive. I think I'll be learning near the end of this year!

yep, learned how to write cursive in the 3rd grade and perfected it in the 4th. i went to public schools all my life. i'm 27 this year.
i really only use this skill when i'm signing my name on legal documents; otherwise, i write in normal print lol. it's fun writing in cursive, though! i've noticed that a lot of schools aren't teaching it anymore... i wonder why that is.

i am 24 now. i learned cursive in 2nd grade so i was 7/8 years old. i learned it in public school. i only really did cursive in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. my 5th grade teacher did not make it mandatory. i forgot how to do most cursive letters and can only really do my name.
i am currently in a 4th grade classroom one day a week and saw that every once in a while they will have the option to do cursive sheets with random words on it but that is the most they do with cursive. i'm guessing they do learn cursive still in school but it is the minimum at most. i remember a kid asking how to make a certain letter in cursive and i believe it was in their name so they probably haven't done cursive really at all since they learned it whenever that was.
I'm 23, and I learned cursive in 3rd grade in public school. I tweak certain letters to my own style because they look ugly (looking at you, capital J- I don't do the bubble on the bottom, it just makes it look bad.)
I'm 30 and went to public school, and I learned cursive in second grade (way back in 1995). I didn't really get the hang of it for a couple years, but I was required to do it for some assignments growing up. People don't really use it anymore, and I don't think my youngest cousins learned it in school. My regular handwriting now is actually a weird mix of cursive and normal script, but I can still write in cursive fairly well if I want to. My sister plans on homeschooling her son, and now I'm wondering if she plans on teaching him cursive. I'm reluctant to attempt to broach the subject of his education this early, though; he's only six months old lol.
Yes, I did, but then again I'm 59. I believe I learned it in 3rd grade in parochial school. I still use it when I write.

I learned in public school, 3rd grade I believe. And, I'm 29. My son learned it in 3rd grade also, he's 10, so they still teach it.
I learned it in elementary school, although I don't use it much
I certainly did, although my handwriting isn't all that great. I think was around second grade. There was talk of schools quitting teaching it here for a bit, which I thought was ridiculous. They still do as far as I know.

I still write in cursive. I learned it in second grade at a private school.

20, learned in school from 2nd-4th grade and a little out of school during my elementary years. Had to write almost entirely in cursive for 3rd grade, and I went to public school.
Had a similar convo with one of my managers recently. Apparently, it's been taken out of schools completely, at least in my area/state. I remember hearing it was being phased out just after I got into middle school, had some pretty mixed feelings then lol. I mostly remember how to write in cursive, but I absolutely hated having to write almost solely in cursive during 3rd grade. I usually print everything though, as do most. It's not like it's actually necessary to write anything in cursive. However, I still think cursive should be taught in school, or at least a penmanship class, because there's so many people with bad handwriting that could have really benefited from that kind of class, myself included lol.

I'm 19, learned cursive in 3rd grade because we were told from 4th onto college we'd be writing in cursive. Haven't used it since.... Except it has ruined my handwriting, an excuse to scribble everything? Sign me up

learned it in school, yeah. i'm twenty four now and my normal penmanship is in cursive. i work with some teenagers and they say they've never learned it and can't read my handwriting.
I'm 27 and I learned cursive in school when I was, I think, about 9 or 10? We had to write with cursive for a while and then I realised it was okay to print, and that's usually what I prefer doing.
I DO write cursive if I have to write very fast, sometimes, but it's not "proper" cursive (I mostly just join up my print rather than use actual cursive lettering). The faster I write, the more illegible it is. :')
I loosely know how to cursive write and that's because in elementary I didn't know how to hold a pencil correctly to write words? So I was given special lessons with a group of students how to write clear letters. Note: This happened when the rest of the class was learning cursive writing so I only got the back end of the remaining lesson which was practicing writing sentences when I was allowed to join the rest of class activities.
Went to catholic school in the 60's and it was required you learn it. Must have been second grade and my mom gave me books from a book of the month club. There was a set of Babar the elephant books and they were written in cursive so it made me want to learn just so i could read them. I think it should still be required in schools.
