Oh, gosh. The shooting in Vegas is devastating...and the numbers keep going up. I can't believe how many people are being so hateful about it, but then I also see that they already raised almost 2 mil to help the families of those lost and those hurt...
I don't keep up with news, but I don't understand the mentality of the aggressor. He must've seen something that wasn't there.
I think it goes well beyond that, there was something incredibly wrong with him, very dark. He slaughtered people.

I've been encouraged by my friend to take up auto tech courses. I guess to help me get out of my slump...its been over a decade since I've been studying.

He had told me there will be four hour labs, and that he still has current materials to loan me. I best get started, its too late for Fall, so it might be Spring of next year.
Apart from the prospect, it'll be a good experience to get outside my house.
I agree completely, it would be very good for you! I think you could learn a lot that would keep your productive even after all the classes. Now the question is how to keep you occupied until classes in the Spring!

There's the off chance of an encounter I'm not looking forward to. Best I just walk away without a word. Otherwise, I only see get in, do this, and get out.
Don't let the concern that it might be unpleasant socially stop you, it could be one of the best things you can do for yourself :)

That aside, my first steps have been taken. Next is looking into the availability of courses that I can accommodate for. It's still some months from now, if all goes well.

The HAs here are super cool, you can really make them look like whatever you want.
Indeed, there is an effect I would have gotten last Survival. It would allow for a cosplay of a character of mine. I did emulate it earlier, but the effect included a background. I refer to the transparent version of my HA. It is suppose to be a hologram. I'll need to find a reason why its human...the character its attached to isn't.
