I swear he almost slept in the kitchen last night preparing stuff." Aquilino rolled his eyes and set down a tray with different drinks placing a bright orange drink with some pink blending in at the top. "Harper Sunset." he said proudly "It is a frozen Mango and pineapple mix with a hint of mint, raspberry, and a splash of carbonated lemon soda." he explained as he waited for her to taste it.

"I think I should take some to the other tables... you seem busy." Alarico grinned and walked the drinks to the other tables. "Here you go everyone! There are different flavors and styles. Some are frozen, others are iced, and some are spiced hot drinks. I am here if you have any questions!"

Merlin blushed slightly. "You probably mention it but i forgot or was distracted. Sorry. I would like to hear about theater, I would like to go see one of the muggle plays during the break. I really don't know much about them."

Niall has touched Merlin's heart, for some reason he felt close to the kid and wanted to help him. "Ahh but no I like you, and saw it on discount outside and thought you will surely like it as much as I did." Merlin rubbed his head softly. "I'm sure many will love you here, so no worries."

Merlin then looked at Magnus when Gaia left. "Hey mate..." Merlin had a small blue fabric bag in hand and shyly gave it to Magnus. “Here, this is my gift to you, I hope that you like it. I made it myself.” Inside the bag was a talisman, a beautiful charm of a wolf made of moonstone.

Merlin was nervous not knowing if he would like it so he started explaining the gift. “It's moonstone, it is a very magical stone. I picked it just for you for several reasons, first of all it holds the power and mysteries of the Moon. Moonstone is foremost a talisman of the inward journey, taking one deep into the self to retrieve what is missing, the parts of the soul left behind or forgotten, then brought to light. It is an amulet for protection, it also calms but encourages enhancing the personality. It gives hope, It provides psychic protection, clearing the mind and senses, and aids in lucid dreaming and calm sleep. It deflects negativity and eases emotional trauma. It works best at night and the moonlight only recharges its powers.” He wasn't sure if he said too much. “I added a few extra beads to the chord for decoration but they are enchanted as well, to make the talisman stronger and so it won't be lost. Even if by any chance it falls off your neck or someone takes it, it will return to you.”

She hugged Aquilino as soon as the tray was on the table.

"Alarico and I are a lot alike then. I almost slept in the library. Exams are coming up!"

She took one of the Harper Sunset drinks and sipped it.

"Mmmm, yum! The mint really brings it together." She kissed his cheek. "I love it, thank you! Well, the name could use some work."

She grinned and chuckled.

"Sure, I can tell you about it. It's especially good for those who are shy. Maybe young Niall here would like it?" The boy suggested, his hand still skillfuly sketching Lottie's casual appearance. Raising his eyes at them for a moment, Kyros frowned slightly before pulling his wand from his jacket. With a quick gesture and a quiet spell, he cleaned the dust from Niall's glasses. Afterwards, he put his wand back on his pocket and resumed drawing.

"So it's like a self-inking quill? That's amazing! How did they do that without magic?" Kyros gave a brief pause in his sketch to begin inspecting the new pen. By testing it on the parchment, the ink would come out similar to the pencil, though the lines were smoother and darker. He believed he could cover his sketch with the ink later, and it would be cleaner. A small chuckle of delight came from him. "Thank you so much, Magnus. I won't forget this... I'll give you a gift later. Though it will be hard to top Merlin, that charm is beautiful."

Joe came back to consciousness. He was aware of the smell of food, both cooked and living, and warmth and much sound. He blinked slowly, letting his eyes focus. His potion had worn off.

He gave a quick smile at Lottie and Ellenor, and excused himself. He walked to the restroom and went into a stall. He chose 2 flasks, and drank from them. Feeling much better afterward, he walked to the sink and brushed his teeth. He then splashed water carefully on his face, drying it and fixing his hair. He looked at himself in the mirror to be sure his appearance was passable. As an added precaution, he popped a breath mint, then made his way back to the table. He wasn't surprised to see a few new faces in the room since he had been awake last.

He smiled at Lottie and Ellenor. "Sorry about that, I must have dozed off. Did I miss anything exciting..?"

"Y-ya do?" he asked genuinely surprised after all he'd been a shaking nervous wreck. He was so red but felt a little more at ease. "Thank ya, sir." He smiled, "I'll cherish it."

Magnus set his pencil down and was looking at the gift. It took him a long while to actually reply. He inspected it with awe. It was made out of moonstone which held two meanings to him. One the irony of the moon. "Me birthstone," he said holding it. He could feel energy and it felt peaceful. Then Merlin was explaining the reasons he chose the stone. He was truly touched beyond words. All the reasons were so thoughtful. "Its amazing," he said looking at it again. "I-I can't think of anything to say. Thank you don't cut it." He grabbed his friend and hugged him--hopefully not tooo hard. "Thank you so much." Merlin told him to celebrate his wolfness, and this was very much an amazing way to do so. He slipped it on his neck and he did feel even calmer than before.

Niall heard his name but he hadn't been paying attention. He looked up from the book at Kyros. "Sorry, sir," he said, "I wasn't listening..." Then his glasses were cleaned magically and the boy grinned weakly, turning pink.

"It will eventually run out but Muggles are fascinating. I use their art supplies mostly, then again I grew up with them," Magnus said holding his hand on the wolf talisman. The energy was so peaceful, like he was standing on a beach. "I'll ask mum to send you a box of art supplies from muggles," he said with a smile and waving on the gift idea. "She's gotten good at picking up great things."

One of the twins brought out drinks and more food to try. Magnus took one of the drinks, hand still on the talisman.

Lottie looked up at Alarico when he brought over food. "Thanks" she said in a soft tone. She was feeling a bit peckish. ((at least I hope he made his way to our table? LOL))

She then looked up at Joe as he made his way back. "Not much...just more students coming in...and running out." she chuckled..then leaned forward to make a plate of snacks. "and food...we have food now."

ellenor had been reading just then she put her book away. oh lottie joe i see we have food now? I wonder if any of the food has milk in it she mumbled quietly. ellenor grabbed a plate and started filling it with fruit muffins and Bacon.

Joe gave Lottie a small smile, and looked down at the food. "That's good..that we have food now and I didn't miss much." He sniffed toward the samplers. "Have you tried any of it yet..?" he said, still sucking on his breath mint.

He gave Ellenor a small smile as well. "I am sure most of it does. I have dairy digestives, if anyone needs any," he said, patting his bag.

Merlin took one of the frozen drinks placed by Alarico before replying to his friends. "I have one of those self inking quills, old man Pete gift me one in my last birthday, he said it was called a pen. I found it far more convenient than quills if I'm honest, the only problem is they ran out of ink, but old man Pete made a spell on mine so it always has ink. It's my favorite."

Merlin laughed when the boy called him sir. "You can just call me Merlin, or Merls if you prefer."

"It's your birthstone? I didn't know so that's even better! Now that you put it on, the spell I put on it is activated, so it can't get lost, it will made his way back to you. It was old man Pete that taught me how to make talismans and I enjoy doing them lots. I carved it myself, it's the only artistic thing i can do. I can't draw, paint, or sing..but I can carve on stones or wood." Merlin blushed when Magnus hugged him and a smile adorned his face. "I'm really happy you like it, I was worried you may not."

"Not yet...no...just piling some on a plate" she said to Joe and yawned again. "sorry...just not waking up today..." she took the opportunity to stretch...she thought to herself must be all the fresh air

"Yes, sir," Niall said, "Er, Merls," testing the name. Niall witness the gift giving and was warmed.

"Well the muggle hospital reckoned I were born somewhere in the late part of June so they picked the 26th. But its also ironic cos me attack day was the 21st o' June and me adoption day is the 24th. But yeah moonstone, pearl and alexandrite." He smiled showing his friend that it didn't bother him, which it didn't. "I liked moonstone since I were little. For some reason it makes me feel like I'm on the beach with the ocean waves and breeze." He shook his head. "I don't like it, I love it. Its amazing. You're really skilled. Why wouldn't I like it?"

Joe finished his breath mint and looked at the sampler plate. He decided to try the chips and salsa, one chip for each of the types. Since this was a food tour, he didn't want to eat too much, but thought he could judge a place with this type of cuisine by its salsa.

He nodded as he ate. The salsas were very good. "In my opinion, the food here should be excellent," he commented. "These are very tasty salsas." Then he chuckled. "I should give it a Yelp review," he said, smiling.

She chuckled a tiny bit. "Be careful...some wizards are wary of nomag tech here."

She looked over at Ellenor. "You know...if you want I can introduce you to some of the people over there? You could see if...((not knowing Nialls name))" she waves her hand trying to think of a descriptive name. "Cinnamon..is alright...sense you were concerned." She followed in suit of Joe and was trying the salsa's.

"I like the spicy ones..." she said looking over the brim of her sunglasses at him as she leaned forward to dip.

Merlin smiled and nods to Niall. "That's more like it Niall, we are all young here anyway. How old you think I am? Or Magnus?"

"It is amazing how June is such a life changing month in your life. My birth month is October but even when I love stones, I haven't found one that I know it belongs to me and I should keep it so I collect them and gift them to special people. Sometimes I just know who the stone will be for even without knowing the person, a bit strange." Merlin wasn't sure what to respond but said. "I was worried you may not like that it was a wolf or a moonstone since the Moon represents change to you." He was pleased his friend liked the gift.

Joe gave a small smile and a shrug. "Well, that's their problem. Tech is life, I don't go anywhere without my phone." He winked at Lottie to show he was playing with her.

"His name is Nie-ul, like the river," Joe said with a small chuckle, "although I do think cinnamon would work...I wonder if he has a soul, " he mused quietly.

Elizabeth had decided to join the Hogsmeade visit as well. She entered Las Palmas although she wasn't really hungry and recognised some familiar faces. She shortly waved to Kyros, but as she saw that he was writing or drawing, she didn't want to disturb him. So instead, Elizabeth wandered over to Lottie and some other people. " Why, hello, nice to meet you here ", she said, not referring to anyone in particular. Happy to know some people, she seemed pretty relaxed. This had been a good term, but nevertheless, she enjoyed the breaks.

Joe looked up as the new girl walked over to their table, and gave a smile. "hello, I'm Joe, would you care to join us..? This is Lottie and Ellenor."

She was then listening to the new approaching lady. She looked up. She had seen...Elizabeth...before in the dorms but hadnt really talked to her. "Hello..." she gave a small wave. She remembered her having non-offensive energies, so she didnt mind the "visit"

ellenor saw the girl come over and decided to say hi. hi she replied to the other girl.
