Tamsin looked at Magnus. "It's ok Magnus, guess I am cursed or these flowers are very picky on who gets to cut them and who doesn't. Now I wonder if any child can cut them or if another adult could cut it if lead like I was. And here I was thinking I might turn into a bug and you could all just stomp on me."

Lee looked at Tamsin. "Now, why would we do that..?" he asked quietly.

"I don't wanna stomp on you," the boy said quietly, "I like ya." Then he shifted uncomfortably.

Tamsin was surprised to hear someone liked her. "Well, thanks Magnus. I like you too."

She then turn to Lee. "I am sure you all have a list on things you don't like about me. Which is probably everything." She laughs. "Well, either someone picks it for me or this is the end of the line." She looked at Merlin's figure, still halfway through transformation and wondered how stopping it will affect him, would he be ok? "So, anyone willing to cut it and take the risk?"

"Would you like me to pick it Tamsin?" she asked her eyes still closed. "I wish I could tell you why their picky but...I dont know. I just know your trying to do something nice for your mum...and you need a hand."

Tamsin nods. "I would appreciate it if you could do that for me." Her face reflected sadness, she truly wish she could do it herself. "Thank you."

Truth was Magnus thought she was cool and did her best, even if this didn't go the right way. He knew all about that. He looked shyly at the ground. "Er," catching her look at Merlin. "Can we let 'im go? Take im out of the spell."

He was pleased when Charlotte offered to pick the flower, as he was about to offer.

Lee answered Magnus. "Probably not a good idea...he needs to have the spell ended when he is somewhere safe and..contained. This is not the place for it. "

Charlotte came forward and knelt down. She gently held the flower and used a severing charm with her wand. The dust floated about her glittering in the air. She started to walk back as a beard as bushy as Lees appeared on her face, little flowers blossoming in it. Outfit Not Found

She held the flower out to Tamsin. "Here ya go" and gave a bit of a smile. Then started to make her way back to Lee.

"We can't just leave him like this," Magnus said staring at his floating friend. "Besides, Tamsin can put im in a force field if needed." He looked pleadingly at the auror. Let her decide.

Lee watched Charlotte pick the flower, and started to chuckle as her face sprouted not only whiskers but flowers as well. "hahaaa..." he laughed, then grabbed her and kissed her. " I always wanted to know what my beard felt like to others," he said, and laughed again.

"Not too bad," he said and smiled.

Lee looked at Magnus. "Are you crazy, kid..? We have one adult to protect all of us here, and you want her attention divided on doing that while trying to keep him under control..?" He shook his head.

Tamsin frowned at Lee's comment since she was not planning on containing him anywhere. She was sure Merlin wouldn't hurt them. After a deep breath she calmly replies. "We can't end the spell, I think its better we let the effects end by themselves...soon it will be gone. I just hope stopping his transformation won't cause him any more problems."

Magnus' eyes were shinning with unshead tears. This was too close to home for him. He nodded. He didn't think Merlin was dangerous either. Sure the real animal was but he didn't think Merlin would be. "Okay," he croaked hoping she was right. He was worried bout this stopped transformation

Lottie looked at Lee after he kissed her. "Been kissing others eh?" she gave him a tired yet playful look. She looked at Magnus.

"So let me get what your saying..." she rubbed the bridge of her nose. "You...understand...what its like...to shift...and I get that...you get how dangerous you can be...you know the pain...but then you want to be a good "friend" and wake up Merlin, who might not even KNOW whats happening to him...to have him feel the pain...and hope that...you...the one auror, who like Lee said is here to protect us all, and your classmates are going to be able to wrangle him. Do you know whats happening to him? Has he confided in you?? Have you even considered the possibility that, YOU might be a danger by picking these flowers...that YOU might suddenly shift? I get your worried...your not the only one, Merlin is a great guy...but what your purposing is dangerous Magnus. What would Paul say or do in this situation?" she said this all calmly, she was tired after all.

She expects the boy to yell at her again but she didnt care. She felt he was honestly purposing something reckless.

She took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes.

"You have other friends here as well Magnus...they need protection too."

Tamsin took the flower from the bearded girl and did her best not to laugh, after all she helped her willingly and it would have been her otherwise. "Thanks again Charlotte, the beard suits you, especially the flowers"

Seeing the anguish in Magnus touched Tamsin's heart. "Don't worry kid, we won't let anything bad happen to our pal." She winks at him and put the flower away. "I hear a bit of water, could be one of those underwater rivers that go to the lake, so we are on the right path. Eyes open for anything else."

"Tamsin said her reply. I trust 'er and will do as she says," he said quietly. "We are almost at the Lake, Tamsin."

Lee smiled and chuckled at Charlotte. Then he winked at her. "None with beards, he said.

Then he listened to what Charlotte had to say about protecting the others, and he nodded. He was glad that Tamsin saw both their points and even though he hated leaving Merlin in that state, it was safest for all them all.

She had liked it up in the tree, but was relieved that they were leaving the forest for a bit. Poppy thought it would be best that they all chilled out. She was growing increasingly more nervous about Merlin's () condition.

"Should we send an owl for the matron to meet us at the lake? She's a talented healer and her husband is a centaur. Maybe they'll understand what's happening to Merlin?" Poppy wondered how the group felt. She hated feeling so helpless to aid her friend and she was very confused about what was going on.

(OOC: I missed so much! Sorry, I left for dinner, the Oscars, and a phone call.)

The were walking further into the forest, Merlin floating next to them and a bee following the group. Tamsin saw it but it quickly left so she didn't say a word but hope it wouldn't return. A moan was heard and she immediately look up, but she was relieved to see the scales gone. "I think he will wake soon."

From the ground she picked some leaves and eat them. "They are quite tasty if you want to try them. I'll save a few for Merlin when he wakes up." Another bee pass by them but in another direction. "Those bees...I wonder if they feed on those flowers, maybe they are near."

[Edit] "There won't be need for an owl, just relax. Merlin is fine." At least she hope so.

Magnus was getting antsy. He was worried about the lake... Animals converged around the water after all. He could smell lots of creatures too and the bees were making him nervous. "Or something else is near...there's so many scents i can't pick one out. Be careful."
