Millie and Emmett had been walking quietly and taking in the sights. They both seemed to be lost in thought when they heard Magnus () yell for help. They both drew their wands from their back pockets and yelled, "Incendio!" Millie feared the fire would burn Magnus but they had to get the Devil's Snare off him

She watched as Lee snapped a picture. She looked and nodded. She was depressed...she watched to see if anyone else noticed. 'Hell, every time I try to help...I end up being the bad guy.' she thought. She felt a tugging at her bag, when she looked down a Niffler was hanging from it trying to get her keychain off. She tugged on Lees sleeve with a slightly amused look. "Lee!" she whispered. The niffler didnt see to notice her...he just wanted her drusy.

Lee was going to take pictures instead of saving him? Magnus felt angry and scared. But then Millie rescued him as the vines that were starting to tighten and cut off his breathing started to receed. He managed to break-free from the rest of it. "Thanks Emmet, Millie." His body was shaking and he quickly moved far away from Lee and Charlotte. His shirt was still slightly smoking but he didn't care. Seriously taking pictures and not helping? What was wrong with them?

Lee turned to see Magnus burning, hanging from a tree. He positioned himself properly and got a selfie of him with the scene.

The he saw the niffler trying to get Charlotte's keychain from her bag. "awww," he said, and got a picture of that too.

"Are you okay?" () Millie asked with worry in her voice. "Here, sit down. Catch your breath". She looked up and saw Lee () taking a selfie? Suddenly, her protective Hufflepuff nature came out. "Seriously? Seriously? You're taking a selfie RIGHT NOW? He could have been seriously hurt if Emmett and I didn't bring our wands"

Emmett turn to Magnus. "Do you vant to go to zee medical ward? I can summon my broom"

Lee snapped a picture of the angry girl, looked at it and laughed.

Well..she was glad that Magnus was rescued by Millie and Emmett. She looked up momentarily then back down at the Niffler. She gently pet its head so it might notice her. It looked up momentarily and tried to go back to work so she stuck her hand into her bag and took out some sparkly rock candy

She saw it catch the Nifflers eye, she brought it to her lips and licked it so she could show her its edible and held back down. The Niffler tilted its head then mimicked. It seemed to like it as it was gnawing on the candy. Lottie carefully cradled it and continued walking. She had enough shinies to keep this guy occupied for years. Besides...she thought..it looks like a youngling anyway.

Millie thought about snatching the camera from Lee () and casting the Incendio charm on it but she managed to get a hold of herself and rolled her eyes.

Lee looked over at Charlotte and saw her cradling the niffler. He smiled. "So cute, " he said.

Lee turned his back on the girl after he had laughed, his attention was focused elsewhere.

The pain from his burns made tears well in his eyes. Though he seriously wanted to leave and the broom was tempting. But Merlin said he needed him there...maybe Drew did too? "I'm fine, thank you Millie, Emmet. Can't slow the group up." He shook his head. He knew he had at least one bad burn but he was tough.

Merlin and Tamsin saw Magnus trapped but since he was saved they just waited a bit.

"You ok Mag?" Asked Merlin to his friend but gave an angry stare to both Lee and Charlotte. "Can't believe this..a selfie. Why are they even carrying muggle stuff? That's so unwizardly. That's not a word right?" He tried to smile but it didn't happen. "Sorry I was slow, I tripped again. I have bruises all over because I'm a klutz."

Tamsin signal us to stop and cast a spell. "Don't move or say a word." Not far from them serkets, a creature like a giant scorpion of the size of a human, were passing by.

Merlin was petrified, he knew what they were, back home one bite a man and he was dead within hours but was in horrible pain. He grabbed his wand and hoped they will just go away but they stopped and turned in their direction.

She looked up at the angry Millie. "I'm sorry...can I help you with something?" she didnt say it meanly...she just didnt understand why she was upset. "The yellow...thats hufflepuff right? I was almost put in that house..." she said it a little dreamily. She then looked at Lee. "See any strange caterpillars yet?"

She then looked at Tamsin "...because muggle children carry their lives on there phone...like a horcrux." she said it again...not meanly just calm and serene.

Lee froze, but was eyeing up a tree. 'Scorpions dont climb trees,' he thought.

His burns were visible through the missing patches in his clothing and at least one looked bad. But Magnus nodded. "I'm fine." Then they were halted by Tamsin and he stayed put. Waiting for the creature to pass.

She looked down and slowly hugged her baby closer giving it a shh motion with her finger to her lips. It was a start little bugger...seemed to understand. She froze with Lee and everyone else waiting to see what the verdict to do was.

She was most upset with Tamsin (). Wasn't she along to prevent and help them in this sort of situation? Millie () was glaring daggers at Lee (), Charlotte () was preoccupied babying a niffler, and Magnus () was still smoking from the fire.

"Great," she thought sarcastically as the group froze in silence under Tamsin's direction. Merlin looked completely in over his head. Poppy felt idiotic, and she was getting hot from the duress of staying so still.

Millie pulled a bottle of water from her coat and said to Magnus () "Come here. I don't have anything else but we can at least put water on the burns." She started slowly pouring the water on the burn on his arm. When the bottle was empty, she said, "Aguamenti". She was careful not to soak his clothes

After a few minutes of this, Millie remembered another charm her father had taught her. "Episkey" she said. "There. How's that?" as she tapped Magnus's arm

Millie turned to the girl she didn't know () "No. I'm good. And yes, I'm a Hufflepuff. I'm very protective of my friends, especially when their lives are in danger of say, Devil Snares."

((OOC: It was Merlin asking why you had phones. lol))

Merlin was genuinely scared. "Guys, those things are deadly and evil, wands in hand they are coming this way."

Tamsin moved her wand so fast they couldn't see her hand. "Fight for your life they are coming, and LOTS of them!" She sent so many spells so fast that several serkets were dying at the same time. "It is time to show off"

Lee saw the hoard coming, hear the order to fight. Um, no...he wasn't supposed to fight, he had already gotten yelled at for it.

He leaped up a tree, and looked down, pulling his wand. He pointed it at one of the scorpions.

"Petrificus Totalus !!! "

and watched it stiffen and fall over. He began repeating the spell to every one he could see from his vantage point.

Charlotte blinked and took out her wand. She looked at Lee, who was already going up a tree and up she went as well. "good tree" she muttered patting it. She cast a shield/barrier charm around her, sniffed the critter (so she could find it again should it run off) put it in her purse with a nuzzle and aimed her wand and her small crossbow.

She was ready for them.

She would be shooting both arrows with extreme accuracy and spells to protect the students on the ground...as her high vantage point gave her a benefit to watch over the group.
