I know what you mean about Surtr - I pulled 2 of him while trying to get Ylgr and honestly I just don't want to use him and I hate seeing him in arena. There have been far too many times where I've not even been able to make a dent and I wouldn't be mad if IS accounted they were nerfing Sinmara/Surtr's menance. Adding him to the game in that form was a huge mistake.

New update is incoming, it looks like Legendary Heroes can be used in Aether Raids, and Julia/Seliph/Deirdre/Tailtiu are getting refines.

Also looks like they are changing how merges work to nullify banes, which is very interesting! I'm thinking I might merge my Lutes to get rid of her -atk bane.

They also put the NY banner in this update, and the data-mined units look really beautiful.

Guess my orb saving paid off. I got Legendary Marth this banner, and with a decent IV set (+spd -def). I'm really happy that I was rewarded for my patience, and I was able to kill two (well, four) birds with one stone by giving Lucius Wrathful Staff from a bad IV Veronica (RIP), gave my Sothe Swift Sparrow from a flying Nino, and got two Hanas while summoning, which means I can bring her to +9. I'm so close to that +10, and I hope I can do it before or around the time the 2nd anniversary hits.

Oy blin, the new merge change sounds so good. I'll probably save my orbs over the next couple of months and see if I can get another Legendary Marth to merge into the -def one so his defense evens out. I haven't played with him much, but his stats are nice and the anti-dragon capabilities are also good.

- Julia and Deirdre are well overdue for refines, maybe I'll actually use Julia. And Tailtiu too, I have a 5* neutral and a 4* + 8 merged, I wonder if she'll be like lilina, just as useful at 4* merged with the 5* weapon forge, as the 5*, I might just build her at 5* anyway depending what she gets.

- I also got Marth! The wrong Marth OTL. I have recently started merging him though, he's already tied with Eirika, so he might eventually replace her on the arena team since she doesn't like to come visit.

Yeah I'm hoping that Julia's refine means I can shove her on my Arena team to make her a potent Tiki-killer. I have 2 copies of her (hooray for hording) so I'm looking forward to the refine and the merge update.

Am very weak, but a new blue flying dancer was too much for me to resist. I got Azura in about 30-35 orbs which is great, I still have about 20 left. Her IV is -atk +res so not the greatest but she is mostly going to be support for no bother there.

I need to revamp my flier team soon, as LRyoma, Cordelia and KinsHinoka are all reaching their HM limit. I have options but just need to find the right team that synchronises as well as that one.

- Julia is also due for a dip in the 4* pool. >.< Probably won't happen though cus of Naga.

I'll hold out for Reyson/Leanne/Rafael for new flying dancer. I do not care for Azura. I already have Bride Ninian, Really REALLY not looking forward to seeing her in the arena though, the blue duel flying skill means she doesn't suffer the arena stat drops that the other dancers do, so she is apt to come up on higher scoring teams. Dancers already make arena teams unpredictable, giving allies extra movement is just going to make it worse. I am anticipating a very rough time getting a deathless streak with her out.

Lol, my flier team is also getting close to max HM. Kinshinoka's only like 400 away from max, S!Camilla and Tana are getting really close too.

Grand Conquests are my least favourite mode, I find them so boring so have been working on the many dozens of heroes I pulled for and then never did anything with. Levelled up Azura to L40, just need to decided what skills I want to give her. Also started working on my Roy as well, he'd been sitting there for a while not really doing anything. He's got his Binding Blade refine (with dragon effectiveness and QR) The idea is to make him a dragon killer so tempted to give him some threaten def/chill def skills so he's more effective.

I FINALLY got christmas Ephiram to go with Celica and last year's Chrom....just in time to save up what little orbs I will get for New Years x_x

- I got a +spd - att takumi to go with my +att -spd takumi and fjorm the third.

I do not mind gc, I just stick it on autobattle, and some of the units get hm in the end.

_- I just dont have luck with anything, but you get to a certain point on a banner where you want your investment to not be for nothing and just keep spending your orbs until you get pity broken and it was all basically for nothing anyway :( took me 80 orbs to get Fae fro. The Christmas banner, took me 150 to get a 5* on the leg banner. Legendary banners are a lie. I have a grand total of 7 orbs now and nothing new to show for it.

Deirdre broke my pitty bonus as well as a spare Macacia (typo) before I got Eldagan so I feel you pain. At lest Deirdre was new and she's getting a refinement. Plus I wanted her for awhile.....but her daughter kept gettin in the way -glances at my merged Julia-

At lest I can go back to leveling my two unconventonal promotes ( Henry and Subaki ), Ein, and Lewyn until TT arrives.

Hmmm the New Year banner is really pretty isn't it. For some reason I'm thrown by Hrid's face but like all the girls - Gunnthrá, in particular, really benefits without all the apparel and clutter. And the new map music is nice, always liked it from Fates.

I spent 200 orbs on the leg banner and got two Fjorms and two S!Tikis lol. :^) dupes galore. I haven't even checked their IVs yet, too lazy, but merge changes are really exciting. Haha yay all our -Atk and -Spd heroes be coming a little less useless!

I'm using Eir, L!Ryoma, S!Tana and WF!Hinoka for the TT, Atk/Spd seal whooo.

Happy New Year everyone! I pulled on the new banner this morning, both of my free pulls were Bartres (lol) but I ended up with a random Karel but also a Hrid! He was the unit I wanted most although typically he is -atk +spd which I think is his worse spread, haha. I'll have to try and pull another version once I've saved a few more orbs.

I don't know what I'll do with Karel. Wo Dao+ fodder perhaps?

- I think Hrid does have resting derp face but his attacking and defeating pose are good, and his design in general is fab. Gunnthra... I'm not super fond of that artist but agree she is pretty but I wish they had given her better lines. All they have her talking about is how tight her dress is and how much she wants to be with the summoner.

- oh dear... but at least on the plus side you can merge him once the changes happen and that'll cancel out one of them. Also happy birthday for yesterday!

Does anyone have any FEH resolutions for 2019? Mine are to finish my merge projects of Cherche and Roy; also to save 100 orbs. I also want to make inroads on maxing out HM for the many dozens of heroes I pulled for, then barely use.

I also told myself that the only money I am prepared to spend on FE this year is on Three Houses, so no more orb purchasing for me.

:p funny enough I'm just taking my leveling team threw TT this time as Eir is among them. Currently my Neutral Henry seems to forget what tier he is as he's almost one shotting everything in there, I'm sure he will remember past lv 30 though.

No luck on the new years yet, I promoted Mae and Merric though as I had over 60 feathers. Merric's been waiting for awhile so it's time.

- well maybe with the weapon upgrade Julia will be useful for you too? Deirdre is one of the few green units who never pity broke me on the way to Hector. Julia did though.

- trade you spare takumi for spare s!tiki! S!tiki or l!Marth were who I wanted from the banner. But alas, the game still hates me. I'll use the tickets ( because can confirm, the do.expire after the banner they are for disappears. I kept one from the last one just to see) but I wont be spending any more than that on the new years banner. my free summon was a +att -def caeda, so I guess it's time to start that merge project too. I have almost 300k feathers, and I think 7 of her hanging about.

- My resolution is to never spend orbs on leg. Banners. And continue to not buy orbs. Already planning on giving his fishie bow to brave lyn I'm never going to use summer takumi. I dont like takumi, and kinshinoka is a better flying archer. I'm honestly not sure I care for the eliminating boons etc. It makes the game interesting, and most of my trophy units with bad stats are ones I'm never likely to re-summon because they are limited anyway.

- Congrats on NY Hrid. The banner continues to hold out on me, but I need to rebuild my orb stash after getting down to only 7 after the leg banner. This VG is going to be very boring for me since the only units I have for bonus are Corrin and Camilla, both of whom I don't really want to support.

I have both of the above plus NY Takumi who I got from a legendary banner (who I'm sapporting) and Hrid ( who I still need to look the stats for)

- Nice. I have Camilla by accident from last years NY banner. I am loathe to use her, but she's pretty tanky for a flier. Not going to support her though. GL with the old christmas banner. I have none of those units either.

I really like the new year ones, especially Takumi, Prince of Soup, hahahaha (though I'm sad he lost in the voting gauntlet first round D: /cry). :'D So far I have pulled Gunnthra. I'll need to try harder to get orbs to attempt to pull more NY ones. Even NY Camilla looks okay, I'm shocked. :0

Still confused why I can't merge my 2 5-star heroes, like do they need to be the same level or...? I got two heroes with two duplicates and I hate the clutter. T_T Ugh. edit: nevermind, I figured it out lol I had them all default favorited xD

The christmas ones aren't as appealing to me because they feel very seasonal even though the NY technically also are.

My goal for 2019 is to 1) get a Sumia 2) get a Vaike (if / whenever he is released lol) 3) complete my fell vessel collection (still need a male Robin) o3o I love playing with a fell vessel team even though I need to still beef up my fell Takumi before he joins my female Robin and Celica. The purple glows are so beautiful. 4) learn how to merge and inherit skills properly because I'm still a newbie lmao

Hmmmm never experienced that before, I always merge level 1s into 40s or the other way around hmmm. Oh maybe because they're favourited? I remember that was an issue before, the game auto-favourites summoned 5*s iirc. It's an option you can turn off. If they're favourited, I'm pretty sure you can't get rid of them. So I'd look at that!

I put a few orbs into the NY banner after spending all our tickets and ended up with... a Saber! The mythical, the elusive! Kinda a cool pull but lol my backlog of 5*s to level is getting insane. ;x I can't decide how I wanna bless them which has become a big dilemma since adding the four new seasons so just... haven't been building them.

I was pulling red and blue for L!Marth or L!Azura mostly but would've been happy with any of them really, though Fjorm slightly down the list as obvs we all have a copy. Oh well, she'll be a decent merge up for her arena rotation (assuming she stays in for Book III). Both are -Atk, one is +Res and +HP so probs go for the former or stick with neutral.

I've been supporting NY!Corrin cos I've always liked his design and felt like getting behind an underdog. Haven't had a whole bunch of time to put behind him but a few flags into it today on our multipliers. I guess I'll go Azura but yeah, pretty nonchalant about both options here!
