- Nuuuuu! I'm sorry tiny ice ninja didn't come home for you. :( I admit, I feared the worst when Tana showed up, but I still had one more blue orb and she was there! I almost cried. At least you now have res ploy fodder? Tana got merged, she doesn't have great skills for inheritance. If I really need guidance, I have a seal for that.

Yeah :C Blue Orbs had been low on the ground but this circle was 4 blues and a colourless. I still had one to pull after Lute showed up so thought I might be lucky but the rest of the circle was nothing special (a Abel, Est, Clair, Felicia and Oboro). I feel selfish for complaining as I've had some incredible luck over the past couple of months but I still feel a little down about it when I think about the resources I put in. Having one of those 'Put the game down, Fluttershy' moments, haha.

You're right about Res Ploy, I'll have to look up who best to use it on.

Just noticed Feh Channel is 10 minutes long. I wonder if they'll put the new banner trailer out earlier then dedicate the rest of it to new content (like they did with the last one)

It feels a bit weird to have V3 drop so close to the actual trailer for it, so I wonder if it'll be a new banner and then the update middle-end of the month? I can watch it live though, which is pretty exciting.

- Yeah, I wanted Hrid to go on, I defected to Ylgr though (she needs LOTS of SP OTL) Getting lots of bonus rounds with her, I think most people moved to Fjorm cus she was free.

So, I gave Hrid Growing Wind to boost arena score, and now my scores are less. IDGI! I was getting 715-725, now I'm getting 705-715. What did I do wrong? I super don't understand arena scoring. I tried putting +10 Nino back on the team, who has a higher rating, and also growing wind, but that didn't change anything either.

I was on team Ylgr from the start so had a pretty good run with the Voting Gauntlet when I could be bothered to play; ended up in the top 1k for her final round as I had so many flags to burn. Been a little pre-occupied these past few days (I didn't even clear Hrid Infernal, he was too hard and I didn't have the time to figure out something that worked. First time in a long time I've skipped out!) but happy 3.0 is ready to revitalise my interest.

Hmmm maybe just run a score calc. I don't remember exactly which is most important... I think BST beats merges beats skill SP? But they're all pretty important. Also bear in mind going from a 200 SP special to a 300 SP special should only increase your score by 0.5, all other things equal. But yeah score calc is most illuminating.

- Might look into it for next week when I'm in T20, kinda want to try and at least stay there for a week OTL. I was on Ylgr too, got TONS of bonus rounds. Did really well featherwise for ranking in the end.

i had two youtube tabs open so when the music started i definitely thought the devil may cry song was playing (ONLY WANT ONE FUTURE ONLY WANT ONE WORLD BRANDED BY FIRE BORN IN THE ABYSS it's all blending together now)

i liked the opening spooky music though, i gotta remember to turn sound/animations back on if we get more of that 8)

The way Mythic Heroes work is... actively terrible. And I hate that we can't bestow the new blessings alongside OG blessings when they effect distinct modes. e_e Hmmm I'm annoyed and don't know what I'm going to do because I use Fae and A!Tiki for my fave Raiding Party. Erghhhhh.

I did pull a +Atk -Def Eir on my first circle of Hero Fest though which is pretty cool. Looks like a great IV for her. 8)

Yeah I kinda wish it countered Dazzling so she could bait? But her Res is sky high enough that it probs won't matter anyway (but at least she could KO those Veronicas and save the rest of my top gals). And the dad is hot whoops. Come home to me Papa Askr. The OC we deserve.

The first couple of chapters were... k but I wasn't blown away. I hope beasts get good integration with the story? I don't have high hopes but I was quietly wishing book III would focus on Laguz vs Beorc tensions from Tellius, thought that'd be a nice plot point to build off of but hohhhhh well.

I know right? Colour me surprised it was a hero-fest, but it seems like a lot of people are excited by January's new editions.

Hey, everyone. Sorry for my inconsistent appearances here on this very forum. Finals have been kicking my butt. How's life with you all?

I will say, Book 3 has started off quite nicely so far. Book 2 was definitely disappointing, but Book 3 truly intrigues me with the introduction of Hel, Lif, Thrasir, and Eir, alongside Alfonse and Sharena's parents, as well as the Order of Heroes fighting against the army of the dead. I hope this storyline will go somewhere good.

On another note, I'm so excited! Owain finally came home, and his IV spread ended up solid. +spd -hp. Looks like the game threw me a bone this time. Definitely gonna get some use outta him and hopefully merge him up over time if I save up some more orbs.

- I mean, Reyson would be fun (hello dancer/singer with potentially 3 movement), but I don't really care that much for the herons actually. Did you mean Ranulf? I am more interested in Ranulf being added. But the radiant one that I'm most interested in them adding is Pelleas. But I'm pretty sure he's not that popular, so I might be waiting a looooong time.

- do what I do, and just don't give a sh*t about aether raids. Keep Fae and Tiki with the old blessings cus arena actually gets you orbs.

- Yeah, I'm with Thomas, would prefer a counter to dazzling staff.

Book 3 so far is ok, I guess. It is slightly more engaging than book 2, and I'm liking the designs of the new OCs at least. The writing is still a bit meh. Not really looking forward to another new mode though.

i am still stuck on thrasir being... a head. a head on a skelly covered in goop. with no pants. meanwhile lif is the same, exchanging no pants for an abs window (or uh. just a chest cavity i guess) and less face. i find eir's no-goopness Very Suspicious. eir's banner has been nice to me -- an off-banner elincia and another eir, in three circles. an apology from rng for hrid's trash banner, maybe. reinhardt is getting mystic boost off the eir (and clawing the quickened pulse seal away from whoever's got it now), but i dunno who's getting flier formation off the extra elincia yet. hm

tbh dazzling staff/sweep skills aren't a huge problem for me. maybe it's because i'm a reckless brat and don't bait? with arena/aether my big issue has been retaliation from healers and adaptive damage from nowis and tikis, so mystic boost's pretty great from where i'm sitting!

i was so happy to see their parents!! i hope we see more of henriette and sharena together... they're both so happy ;w; gustav is... very blunt and i wonder how much of that is the writing and how much is the translation (i can't find it, but i saw a reddit thread earlier that said the japanese/chinese versions weren't quite as harsh).

that said, i don't think gustav is entirely in the wrong (since if alfonse and sharena die, there goes the royal fam) and he's probably under a lot of stress since askr and embla are still? at war, and we just had surtr invade, and now the army of hel is here... askr is a mess, yikes.

big same on your thoughts about the update -- the one problem i have with aether is i can't claim my one throne without entering whale territory. that's lame p: feh's jokes are getting better and the trailer was pretty great; i had a giggle at the soundtrack but tbh i do hope we get more fun stuff like that! i'm curious to see who else is in hel's army too, i really like the neon undead thing they've got going on. christmas in hoshido would be cute, but they better not sneak camilla in again! haha

- Eir is probably re:Azura, stolen from her real family as a baby, surprise she's not actually undead!

What I want to know, is who the heck opened a gate to the underworld knowing full well they wouldn't be able to close it again. They must still be at war with Emblia, or else they could just go over there and ask them nicely to close it for them. Maybe that's why they went to war with Emblia in the first place lol. So uh, hey Emblians, we uh, opened a gate to hell and now we can't close it, can you come fix it for us? You Askrians did what now? Uh no, sounds like a you problem, we don't want to have anything to do with the underworld. bye!
