Well, to be honest I don't completely buy that because there is some differentiation: the CSC items show up with a little image of a gold coin, and sP items don't.

So, whatever code that generates that HTML, just add a bit of JavaScript to those items as well that gives a pop-up when you click (and then buys the item when you confirm). This should not be harder than whatever you did to add the gold coin images.

It only requires a change to the interface, not any back-end logic.

I apologize for assuming anything - It could be there's reasons that make it difficult that I don't know about, knowing nothing about the codebase. But this is something I could even implement myself with a UserScript on my end. So I'm skeptical of what you said in this thread about it being difficult to do.

[edit] Pinging some minimods who might be able to help- Do you guys know if making such a userscript and offering it for users would be against the rules? I think it would be okay since it's just to prevent accidentally buying things from shops, but I definitely wanna double-check so I don't get in trouble lol.

Agreed with having a pop up. I'm scared of accidentally spending CSC in general, so a CSC vault would be awesome. I'd like to deposit all mine so I can't accidentally click anything... auto training, hustler etc. It's fine on computer but on a mobile with the crazy subeta layout and stuff jumping everywhere as it loads... eek! xD

There is an extra element in the CSC price (the image of the gold coin), and this is sufficient for implementing (quite easily) a front-end confirmation pop-up. For instance, here is some jQuery that would add a click event to just the CSC items that will ask for confirmation before buying the item.

I'm putting that here to prove that it can be done, and it can be done that easily. Yes, this is not the most beautiful code, but my point is that it's totally possible for staff to code this. The code I wrote above would work without requiring any modification to what code Subeta already has. But staff has the power to modify anything they want, so I just don't buy that this would be difficult.

Thanks for trying to solve this problem for those who really need it - I've had two people message me to have an item refunded and I've done it myself twice or three times as well while browsing on my phone :c It's a lucky thing that subeta users are generally super kind and have no problem refunding because there could have been some serioussssslyyy unlucky purchases for people out there.

thank you so much! Yesterday I bought by mistake and I spent 500 CSC :( I tried to get a refund, but the person won't take it back. So, I lost 500 CSC because I'll never use the item, and it will take a time to sell it :c It's so bad because I don't have international credit card (can't buy CSC with real money), so I lost a few days saving SP to buy CSC in vain after this ;-; but thanks again for the script <3

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that :( What was the item, by the way? I hope the script can help prevent that in the future, at least. I was actually paranoid myself about that happening to me. I ended up avoiding user shops, only buying things from shop search, etc, until I got confirmation that using the script was allowed.

There seems to be a Tampermonkey option for mobile chrome on android. There are other options out there if you feel like fiddling around, you can google "userscripts for mobile". But I feel you, it seems to be an area without much support. I wish there were a pure CSS solution so that we could just use customCSS instead of resorting to a userscript.

It was a wig, it's kind of cute but I was saving for Cathii's dresses (I'm waiting for her to release heartbroken kitten fabric again since I lost the last batch ;o; ) This script it's so helpful, I was considering to buy the credit cards and only release them when I was going to buy something, but now I won't have to do it anymore hahahah. <3

If you have chrome on your iphone, you can try seeing if you can install browser extensions on it? Cuz tampermonkey is a browser extension for chrome. If the browser is able to run javascript, it should still work even on mobile.

The only thing I'd caution, though, is to use the desktop version of subeta because the script has not been tested with the mobile layout.

I haven't tried installing anything on my iphone's chrome though, so I don't know if it'll work. You could look into it and let me know :) but it's also ok if you think it's more trouble than it's worth. Hopefully mobile browsers will become more powerful as we move into the future. ^^

I'd rather have a confirmation on everything that lose 2000 csc because I accidentally opened a shop on my phone and my finger hit an item, at which point staff's response is "oops too bad, sucks to be you". I'm pretty ticked off that an accident can cost me $20 and they don't care whatsoever.

But you know, someone can click the back button 7 times in my cw shop even though there's a giant warning not to do it and they're happy to fix that problem.

So yeah, confirmation on everything. Or a CSC vault. Or refunds on accidental purchases.

Support, I'd really like this ;; I recently bought an item I'd never use and now I've lost my last 500csc and I don't know if I'll be able to sell the item, at least not quick anyway. I've messaged the person asking for a refund but I'd understand if they said no since it was my own mistake, even though it's unfair because we don't have confirmation implemented ;;

Everything here sounds so familiar. We really need this. Already 'bought' 3 CW's on different occasions. One I luckily managed to trade for another colour thanks to the nice owner. But the other two went straight to my shop and havent sold yet, so that is money lost... And I refuse to buy new CSC with real money when I technically have so much 'sleeping' CSC.
