I agree that there needs to be some way of stopping accidental CSC purchases through the user shops, but if a confirmation pop-up was only able to be added to every user shop purchase (sP and CSC), then I wouldn't be in favour (as we then get back to automatically clicking the pop-up through habit and not actually reading the thing!).

I also agree that a CSC vault could be really useful - I know we can buy the CSC card and vault that, but if you want to get that quickly for some reason (like you've just spotted an item in a user shop that you want to buy), it takes a surprisingly long time to 'unvault' the cards then activate each one. Also, a CSC vault could enable us to separate CSC for spending and CSC for saving (for those of us who want to save up enough for a new CW release, or a pet slot, or gifts or whatever :P)

I just had this. It bought a CW I didnt want but thankfully the owner was kind to refund my CSC. So I support this suggestion!

Yeah, I've had that problem too--I'll accidentally click a thing and suddenly 4K SP is down the drain. x_x Some kind of pop-up would definitely be wonderful.

Sorry, just read through the posts and see it is difficult to implement. Will never buy from a shop again. 600CSC for an item I would never have bought is just too much.

I know people find CSC gift cards fiddly but it's the only way we have right now of ensuring that we don't end up buying CSC items we don't want. After all, we can't spend CSC if we don't have it on hand.

This doesn't mean that we shouldn't carry on asking for confirmation popups where CSC items are concerned.

Can something be done using PINs? It's an optional setting, so it won't annoy the users who don't want more confirmation pop ups, while those of us wanting to protect our CSC from misclicks can do so.

Yes, they work for the time being, but are fiddly. You're recommended only to purchase up to ten items at a time in the cash shop. Also, there's no way to turn in everything automatically like tokens. So if you need to redeem 900csc, then that's five items D:

Yeah, as someone who mistakenly bought a CW in a user shop last night while on mobile - I clicked on it without thinking, thinking that I was viewing the overlay, forgetting that I was in a shop - I would really love some kind of fix for this.

Either a pop-up confirmation when something is priced with CSC OR some kind of CSC vault so I won't have it on-hand to make accidental purchases. :/

I would love something like a CSC vault or pop-up in shops. I've not bought anything by accident yet, but I'm constantly paranoid that I will. One of my cats jumped on my laptop keyboard earlier when I was in a shop and I had a mini heart-attack thinking he'd clicked on something ;o;

I've been avoiding CSC shops on phone/tablet because of the lack of hovers, too worried I'll buy something and have a hard time selling it again.

I second this. I understand pop-ups for confirmation might be annoying when you're purchasing for quests or other things, but perhaps until a better solution can be implemented, it could revert to how it used to be that everything from user shops would have a pop-up to be purchased?

I usually avoid doing anything like browsing shops on my phone, but there are people who only use the site via phone or tablet so I can imagine it isn't easy to avoid all the time.

Yes please. If I browse a shop on my phone, I often accidentally buy some thing. I try not to, but I'm usually on via phone and sometimes it's hard avoid. I'm all for confirmation for buying anything when in a shop.

Would it be possible to have it so people could choose the option to have confirmations for everything? Like if someone wanted they could switch on purchase confirmations for all items.

I accidentally clicked on a wig for 600 that I wouldn't have used. Thankfully someone bought it from me, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. This is dealing with actual money, so there really should be a safer way to go upon it. A CSC vault would be wonderful. There could even be an added PIN if the user wanted one. But I do think there should also be a pop-up window for CSC items.

If adding pop-ups before buying CWs on a user shop will require extending the same to non-CSC items, I'm afraid I might not support it as much. Sure, we used to have pop-ups for everything anyway, but I've gotten so used to their absence.

Would adding an option to the existing PIN system to receive a prompt whenever we try to purchase an item at a certain rarity (or w/csc?) be viable? (Option to receive a prompt for deleting cults should probably be removed, btw.)

Oh my god people shot it down HARD, across the board. I don't think I got one agreement, aside from some folks who seemed willing to at least explain why they disliked the idea. I swear it turned into a "oh, I guess you just don't know how to play the game, you newbie, because OBVIOUSLY CSC belongs where it does and that's just how the site works and I shall explain how the site works at you because although this is not the help section or thread I will treat it as such because obviously the only reason you're bringing up this question is because you know nothing about the site. Also it's not worth even considering another option, ever, because I'm perfectly fine with the way it is so why change it" thread which was...frustrating to say the least.

I'm glad it's gained some utility and popularity as an idea. But that would be why I've never brought it up again in five years, despite the fact it's been lingering in my head as a want the whole time. I thought nobody - NOBODY - wanted it. Anti-wanted it, in fact.

It helps that now people are actually being impacted, as bad as that sounds. Back then, the CW market had just started and CSC didn't fly around nearly as much as it does now.

This is an important and necessary feature.
