Eirik couldnt help but stare at the ...walking werewolf..? "If you all will excuse me," he said to the little group, and he got up and made his way over to where the person was standing. "Excuse me, " he said, a little in awe. "we haven't met. I am Eirik. Do you have a minute to talk to me...? I know the competition is getting ready to start, but...I would really like the chance to speak with you, when you have time."

"Erm, sure," Paddy replied, a bit uncertain what the Eirik wanted, and slightly apprehensive that it might include a comment about her fur (even though most of the students at Hogwarts had just been curious, she was bullied like crazy at her previous school), "it looks like it'll be a few minutes before everyone's ready to start anyway."

Eirik smiled. "Thank you so much for your time. I represent the Council of the Archduke Ferdinand, and our main purpose is to improve the plight of non humans in wizarding society. Whether or not you are a non-human is irrelevant, since you appear to be other than the norm."

He paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts. "The Council has spoken to Magnus Lee, do you know him..? He is very interested in speaking to the Council as a whole, and I was wondering if you could spare some of your time in the near future to come and talk with us...? If so, I would love to be able to contact you when we all some time to sit and chat. What do you say..?" he said with a smile.

Fable gave a nod, she didnt mind watching others things.

To Raven:

"Thank you for the foam finger." she chuckled looking at it.

To Anne:

"Hey Elizabeth! How are you doing? I warmed us some blankets." pats the warmed seats to encourage her to join them.

To Cheshire:

"Hey! I guess so...though I dont mind. More in the mood to watch today...still feeling fried from all the homework. How are you?"

To Nik:

She smiled at him and linked her hand in the crook of his elbow. She was happy to be with him and her friends.

"Im sure we will have plenty of time to talk more later. Terms only just begun!"

To Paddy:

She smiled in greeting to her. Before she had a chance to say anything Eirick was off talking to her. She wondered if Eirick was becoming obsessed with wolves...

She settled in to watch the games happily.

"The Council of the Archduke Ferdinand?" Paddy repeated, trying to figure out if this was real or a bad attempt at a prank. At the mention of Magnus' name though, she softened slightly. "Ok, yeah I would like to," she replied after thinking for a few moments. If it was a real Council, it wouldn't hurt to speak to them, and if it was a prank.... well she'd maybe think up some pranks in retaliation.

Looking over at the girl Eirik had been talking to, she noticed the girl had wolf-like ears and a bushy tail. Paddy returned her smile, strangely pleased that she didn't have a tail to worry about all the time.

Eirik looked relieved. "Thank you SO much for agreeing to talk with us, I can't tell you how happy you have made me. Alright, just a couple of quick details then, if I could get your name and House...? I have an agreement with Magnus to drop him a note at mealtimes to talk with him, when we don't get the chance to see each other. Would that be acceptable to you as well..? Our meeting place has yet to be determined, but it will be in a room inside the castle. As soon I have the details, I can drop you a note and we can work out a time for you to come and talk with us. Is that alright..?"

She smiled at Eirik's enthusiasm, "I'm Paddy," she replied, "and as I'm in Gryffindor, that'd probably be easier to drop a note at mealtimes for me as well."

Eirik smiled, "Well, Paddy, it certainly is a pleasure to meet you. I will definitely drop you a note when we are all set up, and I want to wish you the best of luck in the games today. I should be getting back to the sidelines so you have a chance to strategize with your team mates before this all starts. I look forward to talking with you soon."

Fade watched in awe as Eirik () magicked the cloth into a blanket large enough for them to sit on. He was further impressed when the other boy placed a warming charm on it. “Sure, thanks!” He smiled at Eirik and moved to find a seat. “I’m Fade, nice to meet’cha.” Turning his smile into something of a nervous grin he flashed it at the girls already seated on the blanket. “Hello again, er at least I think we’ve met.” This time his cheeks did turn a bit pink.

He knew anyway, “I’m well thanks.” His nervous expression relaxed a bit. She had been at a number of clubs last term, as well as around Hogmead on days off. He had always been sort of interested in her ears and tail, but thought better than to say anything about them. After all, being being bestfriends with a werewolf taught you things about how to approach a subject delicately or better yet, not at all.

Elizabeth () on the other hand. Well she looked familiar, but he couldn’t for the life of him remember if they had ever had a chance to be properly introduced. “Thanks for letting me sit with ya.” He kicked the excess snow off his shoes before stepping onto the blanket and plopped down. The blanket was indeed very warm and chased away the chills that were starting to creep into his legs.

After a moment of careful consideration he spoke up. “Er, maybe a Protego charm would be a good idea?” Since the battle of Hogwarts the charm had been bumped from a fourth year lesson to a second. Fade pulled his wand out of the inside of his jacket. There weren't any professors around to tell him he couldn’t and besides, wouldn’t they be glad he was practicing his helpful charms instead of the trouble making ones he was so fond of? “So I never made one this big before… duno if anyone is interested to help. I can show you the wand movements if you like.” Of course he wasn’t making eye contact as he spoke, rather he began making small movements with his wand and watching the air above them where he hoped to be able to successfully cast the charm.

Aria shivered and stamped the ground a few teims in an effort to stay warm. "I should have worn more layers!" Aria said with a shake of her head.

From the safety of the sidelines, Dax mind spoke to Aria. 'Maybe you should just wait until the game starts, then you'll be sweating and wishing you were wearing running shorts!' He sent a mental picture or Aria with her knobby knees wearing shorts, running through the snow with a crazed look on her face.

Aria giggled, 'Oh, I do not look like that!' She chided him while blushing.

Aria looked over at her classmates to see that they were all ready. Overhead the clouds began to billow up and grow quite ominously in their deep layers of darkness.

Eirik smiled. "Nice to meet you, Fade." Eirik looked thoughtful for a moment. "That charm may not be a bad idea. After all, if we wanted to get hit by snowballs we would have participated. Why don't you go ahead and cast it..? It would be good for you to know your parameters, and an opportunity to expand them, if need be. You never know when you are going to need that spell."

Eirik returned to the blanket where the others were sitting. He looked quite pleased with himself as he sat down.

To Cheshire:

Fable smiled "Thats good to hear" then her head tilted and something was different about him. "Im sorry if this is rude...but...didnt you have a white streak in your hair? I could have sworn you said it was the only piece you couldnt change..." she furrowed her brow thinking if she had remembered that right or not..."Im sorry if Im wrong...been a rough season." She chuckled.

To Paddy:

She had always been intrigued about Paddy and wanted to ask her what products she used on her fur...she knew the competition was starting though and didnt want to keep her. She was glad though that Eirick had urged her to talk to him. It still surprised her that her friends had taken so quickly to fighting for "Otherkin" rights. It was nice.

She sipped her coffee and gave a yawn. She was ready to see some vicious snowball pelts.

Eirik spoke softly, barely above a whisper, to Fable. "Things are going well...want to sneak around with me later on in the dungeons....?" he gave a soft laugh. "We can use the excuse that we are looking for the perfect room to hold our council meetings in..."

She whispered back. "and what is the real reason you want to sneak about?"

Eirik whispered "well, I wanted to have some...private time..with you." he blushed slightly. "For whatever we decide to do. But," he added "I really do want to pick out a spot for our council meetings...this just helps for us to have...other places picked out for...our private meetings. What do you say...?" he asked, not looking at her.

She looked at him a little suspiciously but then smiled. "What kinda girl do you think I am?" she chuckled "Alright...you have a point on the council. Its weird though how popular its become...I was just rambling that night." she trails off

() “Too many to learn, not enough time to learn em all.” A smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth, but inside he was very serious. Thinking about it made his chest feel tight. Repressing the sensation, Fade took a deep breath and focused on the charm Eirik had encouraged him to try and cast. Practicing the wand movements a few times silently first. “Protego.” He said firmly and made a decisive gesture with his wand. There may have been a slight ripple in the air... Making a face he groaned. “Guess someone should test it…”

’s question caused his apprehensive look to soften. “Yeah, I do. Still there.” He slipped his hands out of his scarf, and took off his earmuffs. Shaking out the front of his hair he grabbed at the blonde bits. “Stubborn as ever, probably won’t ever change… But the rest of it’s gettin easier.” He could have stopped there but he kept going. “You know I tried to match it to my shirt today.” He laughed nervously realizing he probably sounded like an idiot.

He whispered "My kind of girl." Then he spoke a little louder, now up to quiet conversation. " I think we were all wound up and over tired, and we found a subject we were passionate about. How many movements in history started the same way, I wonder. It never occurred to me, before I became what I did, that people may be treated poorly because they were different...different in ways that were no fault of their own. But once I became different, I started to see the world, society, in a new light, and I didn't care for what I saw. Change can happen, if enough people care enough to make a difference."

Eirik turned to Fade () "Oh, I do agree with you about that, not to mention the infinite possibilities of creating new spells. Luckily, hopefully anyway, I have a very long time to master them all. Well, not ALL of them, don't want to end up in prison, do I..?" Eirik chuckled.

"It feels like something happened, I will go and see how it worked." Eirik trotted off, and quickly packed a few snowballs. "Ready...? heads up everyone !! ( )

Eirik whipped the snowballs one after another at Fade, Fable, Elizabeth and Kyros. Hopefully Fade's spell worked well enough to protect them all.

"Your so silly....but I like you and your right a lot of great pivots in history could have started with a overtired conversation." She chuckled.

Fable smiled. "Ah! there it is! I was going to say, did you figure it out over break! I think you did a good job matching it to your shirt...I wish it was that easy for me...I did practice a lot over break so I could change my hair color with cosmetic charms. My father got me a book after I caused a mess with muggle products." she winces "Luckily he was able to fix my hair and take the stains off the bathroom counter...I wonder if they muggle products are as hard for them as they were for me. Maybe it takes them practice as well." she nods and then smiles. "I got the styling charms down though! Saves me a ton of time on wrangling my hair."
