"Im alright, been out of sorts lately, trying to keep up with all the homework. Are you excited for the competition?"

Eirik chuckled at Magnus. "oh yes, indeed, a far nobler being you shan't easily find anywhere else," he said, then burst out laughing.

He nodded, "Yeah some of me course work is gonna make me go batty, I think. Yes! I love running about and stuff. Used to give the London coppers a run for their money." Magnus chuckled, "'Ey, its not cheating...is creatively winning." He winked.

"well, Magnus, that's one way of looking at it...a good way," Eirik said with a wink. "You used to run from the police in London..? Tsk Tsk," he said, his eyes glinting playfully.

"Perhaps one day we four shall have to have some friendly competition..that is, if you can keep up, Kyros. Of course, we must invite Elizabeth() to join us, should we do such a thing." Eirik looked thoughtful.

"Those are thoughts for another time, though. Today is all about you two," he said, looking at Magnus and Kyros. " I do hope you get on the same team, it would make it easier to cheer for you."

He gave Fable a sidelong glance and smiled. Well, it was partially true. Today was about cheering on his friends, but it was also about being able to spend some time with Fable...and he couldn't be happier.

"Welllll... they didn't like me on the rooftops or running around places... and sometimes I wasn't back at the 'ome when i was supposed ta be." The boy's eyes twinkled mischievously. "that'd be fun. well, maybe not if its on a full moon and I didn't 'ave me potion. If we aren't, 'and someone some polyjuice potion, they can pretend to be you and that way BOTH yous will be cheering one team at a time." He bellied laughed.
"OH! Fable," he said digging into his bag and pulling out a wee cage, "You really liked me hamster drawing the other day...and I rescued this little guy this mornin' from me cat. Thought maybe you'd like the little tyke?"

Fable smiled and said to Magnus "Its always nice to get out and stretch the legs. Im lucky enough we live in a wooded area though it always wise to be careful of muggles. They seem to get pleasure at shooting as animals." she blinked for a moment.

"Yes I think it would be wonderful to to be able to cheer both of you on." she smiled. "Im sure you both will do very well." she sipped from her coffee.

EDIT She looked at Magnus and smiled. "Well I can safely with you anytime. I dont have just animal features!" she winks. She looked at the little hamster and smiled. "Awwww its adorable!! I would love to take it!"

Eirik laughed. "Well, perhaps I shall have to use my speed and run from sideline to sideline cheering for you both in turn."

Eirik looked at the little hamster and smiled. He gave Magnus a warm smile and nodded.

"Well, Magnus, as long as you aren't breaking rules here, it's all good...unless, of course it's for standing up for yourself or your principles. Then rules don't mean crap. If you all will excuse me for a minute, I need to do some rule breaking myself," he said, patting his pocket.

"I will be back soon," and he made his way over to a few large trees. Once there, he lit up a cigarette. He hadn't had much time for these this week, and he wanted to enjoy one now, while he could.

"Yeah I wish they didn't though," the boy said with a frown. Then he smiled and said, "I can make you a giant foam finger so you can root us onward." He outright beamed when she agreed to take the adorable hamster and handed her the cage. "Such a cute little thing, just wouldn't be wise for me to keep it. Not with an owl and cat."

He laughed at the proposal. "You know, I should think I'd like to see that." Rule breaking was fun sometimes. He nodded as Eirik went to smoke, smelling the acrid scent.

Eirik could see that it looked like the workshop was going to get started soon. He finished up his smoke, did his clean spell, and walked back over to Fable, Magnus and Kyros.

"Did I miss anything...?" he said with a small smile.

"indeed, we all played, I won. Got Gallons of money and now shall go retire somewhere in a large mansion. Oh how sad you missed it all."

Eirik stared." Oh my, I must have fallen through a portal and lost time," he said with a straight face. "How wonderful for you Magnus !! I am so proud." Then he burst out laughing.

"yes, you did, whilst I smoked the competition, wouldn't you say?" his eyes twinkled, he was having fun bantering.

Eirik rolled his eyes at Magnus, and chuckled. "Yes, yes you did."

After a quick acknowledgement, he turned to see that yet another student () was introducing themselves to him. It seemed like his original idea of staying out of conversations was not going well. Kyros was definitely another interesting name. Made it easier to remember. Eros ignored the boy's question about being a Slytherin. He was treating it as rhetorical even if it wasn't. "Eros," he gave Kyros his name. However, seemingly uninterested in the fellow housemate, he turned his attention for a moment to see if either Beth or Elise showed any sign of getting ready to start.

Magnus smiled despite himself. "No one's called me that in a long time," he said to Eros. He knew well enough to not bother giving the boy the permission to call him it. If Eros wanted to, then that was fine. He actually liked the nickname so it didn't bother him. "Beater, you play, right? I prefer to play chaser but that's only cos me mum plays chaser and trains me for that position more than the others."

Eirik rolled his eyes at Magnus' pun and the boy grinned, "Wit beyond measure is Magnus' greatest pleasure. Well...that and drawin. OH! SPEAKING OF WHICH!!" He dove into his bag and pulled out a self drawing quill. and set his Sketchbook on the ground. "Draw the games," he instructed the quill.

Eirik watched as Magnus pulled out the sketchbook and his quill. "Well, that will be nice, to have some mementos from the games." He looked about, wondering where the best place for him and Fable to sit would be.

He then whispered quietly to Fable "you doing ok..? not too much for you, is it..?"

Magnus opened his box. Black. "What colour are you Kat? Eros? Kyros?"

"Thank you Magnus, she said...and sure I would love a foam finger. If you want I can watch your stuff..." She chuckled. "Good luck!"

She looked at Eirick and smiled. "I am doing alright...thanks for keeping me company, I think today is going ok so far." She smiled at him. "Its a cute little guy isnt it?" she said looking at the hamster. "little ball o fluff...I think the other animals sense my animalness and give me a bit of distance...so he should be ok." she was thoughtful. Its not that animals hated her...they just seemed to get along around her just fine.
