I hope everyone is doing well. The pandemic has wrecked havoc on my work life [essential retail life... yike] and I barely do anything but sleep and work right now but I wanted to check in and with everyone a good day 💕 I've missed this site a ton unfortunately it just hasn't been possible for me to do much but log in in passing lately. Really hoping that changes soon.
Hey everyone! Long time no see. I've missed you all!
And for some of you, this is hello for the first time! :)
Today's going well so far. Relaxing on my day off. Think the hubby & I might go out and play a little Pokemon Go later in the afternoon. Dragon Week starts today, and we've got tons to catch up on.
Welcome back! It sounds like you've been through a lot! O.O Your optimism and confidence in life despite all the craziness happening is awesome to me!
Also glad to hear you're having a relaxing day off with a bit of fun! :)
Yikes, sorry to hear covid is impacting you so much. Essential retail? Your work is probably amazingly important right now to people! Be sure to take care of yourself! Subeta is meant to be a fun retreat, so taking a breather from it is totally chill! I've always cycled between being more and less active here myself.
Thanks, dear. :) It isn't easy! And I'd be lying if I said I didn't reach my breaking point a couple times over the last year and a half. Hubby really pulled me out of some dark places. He's supported me in every decision I've made, and that's been huge for my mental health.
PoGo was a little frustrating tonight, but it was still fun! Caught 6 of the 7 Rayquaza we battled, though sadly none were shiny!
I hear you! I work for Kroger, so I totally get it.
That's awesome! A supportive partner, family, or even just friends, can make such a big difference!
Given the challenges of 2020, I'm really glad I have my BF too! I'd just go nuts stuck at home alone, despite being quite introverted. Much appreciation for good partners. <3 <3
I haven't played PoGo in years ... I even uninstalled it a couple of weeks ago :P whoops XD

As my birthday draws closer, I am reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllly curious as to what the little gift will 'bee'
Nice to see you back :). From your return thread it sounds like you’ve had the most awful year, I so hope things turn round for you and you can see some light ahead xx
Don’t frighten me like that ...... I thought I had forgotten your birthday, had to dash to the member list to check ... phew :)
All I will say is it’s worth the anticipation and makes our virtual friendships just that little bit closer xx
Thanks for asking :). We’re doing better, husbands now on some additional medication which is helping with his anger and frustration issues.
My daughter is fine, she has her second scan next week, she’s at that point between the morning sickness and being able to feel the baby move, so apart from getting a bit of a baby bump she doesn’t feel any different than normal. Next weekend should have been her wedding so a few conflicting emotions going on there as well. All being well and no further restrictions we’re going to have a family picnic on that day.
How has your move gone, are you all settled in and in packed? xx
Sorry guys! lol....but it is close...or closer than what it was yesterday! ;)
You’re such an eager beaver, you’ve still got months to go :D. But yes, it is closer than yesterday. So nice to be excited for a birthday, wait till you get to an age where you just want to forget there’s one coming :D
I'm glad the meds have helped your husband with the frustration and anger issues , and yay how exciting for your daughter! I hope she won't have many morning sicknesses and enjoys the pregnancy :) The family picnic sounds nice and fun, but don't forget to take safety measures to avoid covid :)
The move went by pretty good, and we're finally all settled in, 90% unpacked LOL We're still waiting on some furniture and stuff to arrive, like most of the guest bedroom's furniture XD Owner says next week it will arrive though :P
2 months, and 12 days! (It's the 12th in Australia...) I love saying "It's closer than what it was yesterday' to people when my birthday is ages away. It normally goes something like:
Me (in April): My birthday is soon! Other person: Really? When's your birthday? Me: October Other person: ...It's April Me: I know Other person: October isn't soon Me: I know, but my birthday is closer than what it was yesterday Other person: .... Me: :D Other person: ....fair enough
Haha oh you~
Aww... It's too bad about the wedding. Hope you all have a nice picnic to at least make it an enjoyable day.
My BF's sister had a wedding planned that got affected by covid too. She decided to go ahead with it, and made it a small family-only event, but invited friends to virtually attend over video chat. I'm glad she was happy with it, though if I was in her place, I would probably have postponed, so it doesn't work for everyone.
