hey y'all! sorry I've been kinda mia this month, I've been doing stuff for the protests and starting a my summer jobs so it was a bit hectic, but things are calming down now. how is everyone??

Doing pretty good , and glad to hear things are calming down for you some :) I've been playing Xenoblade Chronicles on Switch so much since I got it on June 1st... want to complete all I can on the first run, to move one to something else XD

So I made cinnamon rolls from scratch for the first time yesterday, and wow, lol...

I may have overdone it with the cream cheese frosting... :P

Bleh, I sprained my ankle out walking the other night, curses on uneven sidewalks in the dark. Fortunately, it's not too severe and I'm mostly back on my feet already literally haha.

It's been a wild week for me, but I'm glad you're okay! Also today is my dogs' birthdays (we lump them together since we don't really know my adopted dog's real birthday.) So that was atleast a nice end to the week.

Doggie birthday! That sounds super cute! Do you do anything special for them? Maybe just extra treats? ;)

I baked them a cake especially for them. I doubled the recipe thinking it wasn't nearly enough, and ended up with way too much XD so now I have a half of a doggy cake in my fridge for another day.

I have been pumping up my battle pet. He'll be t13 before I know it...and then it will be all about getting him to that final mark..

It's been so hot here, I'm not sure it's normal, though people around here say it is XD Can't wait for Sept/Oct to arrive to start getting more cooler temperatures haha

Lol how hot is it over there? Because hello from Las Vegas, where it's 112 this week! xD Our electricity bill will be through the roof, but we're still happy to pay it to keep the AC on! >.<

It's gotten to 111.2 F this week and part of last week, so around the same much as in Vegas, wow! Since we live on the top floor of our building, opening the balcony door can keep some air coming in (not always cool, though) until around 11 am (sometimes until 1pm), but after that we need the AC on until basically before we go to bed at 10pm (after that, the roof fan does the job pretty well)

I'm kinda afraid to see the electric bill D:

We basically keep the AC running 24/7, because my BF can't sleep if the room is too warm. The estimated bill is a whopper, but it's within our expectations. And we've saved so much on rent by moving here that the electricity cost is nothing in comparison, so there's that! :P

We have Central Air Conditioning , so the whole department gets really cool, so comfortable.. and the roof fan does an amazing job that through the night we even have to either turn it off, or grab the bed sheet LOL
