I was able to snag a few short story collections for myself and other books as gifts. 😄
Hi everyone! I'm new to the wizarding group. I'm looking forward to meeting you all! :)
Also, omg, I have a mighty need for those bird ornaments. I collect Christmas ornaments in real life, it's probably my biggest vice. 😆
There was a store closing close to my cousin but I didn't make it on time. I wouldn't have had space for all the books. There is something about the smell of books (old and new) that makes me happy :D
WELCOME!!! :D Glad you are a Ravenclaw! Christmas is my favorite time of year.
GOOD NEWS.
I probably don't have pneumonia. We'll find out for sure after a chest x-ray tomorrow.
I WILL LIVE TO RAVENCLAW ANOTHER TERM.
It's the cough syrup talking. I'm gonna go lie down now. 8D
Thanks. Some good things were me starting an awesome new job, but it meant finding new daycare for my kids last minute and our whole schedule sort of flip flopping. Then my husband ended up in the ER with high blood pressure so we're trying to manage that now. And my mom isn't well for the moment either. 2016 has been one of the craziest years I can remember.

Thanks!! Happy to be here! :)
I love Christmas too! It's finally gotten cold here, and even snowed a little bit today, so it feels even more Christmassy, haha.
Also, , I hope you feel better!!
Thank you. <3
I hope to feel better soon, too. This cough is throwing off my groove. >.>
- Thanks! Yeah it should be here any day now! I ordered one for me and one for my good friend who is a huge Potterhead as well :D Originally I was looking for a Ravenclaw style one for me and a Slytherin one for her, but that one just stuck with me.
How's everyone's day today? Hopefully I'll get to log back in after work, lol. I'm typically a weekend warrior on Subeta, the week is always so busy. Especially with the days being so short now, when I get home, have dinner and it is so dark out I'm ready for bed!
I hope your husband and mom feel better! I really do hope 2017 is waaaay better! :O
I am so jelly!! It is hot here :(
Feel better! hugs
That is awesome! I am the same with my friends and HP stuff XD gets socks every year ;)
Thank you for the well wishes!
Unfortunately, I ignored my doctor's orders and my own better judgment and went to work yesterday, and today I'm even more sick. I had to go back to my doc and get him to write me a letter for my school so I can defer 2 of my final exams. I just couldn't bear to write an exam today, coughing like this. >.>
So instead I'm in bed with my laptop, drinking tea and watching Netflix. <3
For sure! You need to care for yourself. Can't afford to get worse! hugs I am watching Crazy Ex-Girlfriend XD
Never seen it! I'm just streaming kids' movies. xD
- That's awesome your friend gets socks every year! She's a free elf! :P
was amazing and gifted me the whole series last Christmas! I have always borrowed them or checked them out from the library. I went with a different theme for her gift this year but I still think she'll enjoy it :D
Hello all...I'm new here. It is pretty cold here...6 degrees f...but no real snow. Just wind and cold. I'm off work until Sunday afternoon, and I plan to spend the whole time snuggled up with my electric blankie and my ancient dog. :D
I do that all the time LOL I tend to run out of things to watch.
She is for sure a free elf! XD
Welcome!!! I am so jealous of all the snow! I have been stuck in the 80 degree weather >.>
I'd gladly trade! Are you in Oz, by any chance?
I wish I was magical and have a flying monkey XD I am in Florida.
I think we all need a flying monkey...except my flying monkey would probably do bad monkey things!
Florida is not so bad. You don't have to dig your car out to get to work...ever, I assume? Wow that sounds nice about now. It really does not take very long to dig my car out, but for no good reason, I resent the task.
Well it depends on the rain XD no digging but we might end up needing a kayak. I love the cold, but I am sure it would get annoying if the snow doesn't stop.
It is rare for us to get this much cold and even a bit of snow before the New Year. But it has been bitterly cold, and we have had a few inches of snow. We usually get pounded in January and February.
Do you actually have a rainy season there, or does it just rain a lot? I was only to Florida once as a little kid. My experience with warmer climes comes from running away from home to Mexico, which I do as often as I can afford it.
I loved the snow when I was younger, but I'm getting older, and I feel it in my joints a little now.
