We got about 3 inches of snow yesterday(that's a lot for here)! I love having snow but it makes walking with crutches kind of difficult.

We missed the snow and got freezing rain and sleet instead. So the yard was covered with ice and all the trees and bushes were too. The woods behind the house were beautiful...so delicate and fairy looking as the ice made them look white/silver and foggy looking. Today the sun is out so I am currently listening to all the ice melting and dripping lol. Went out earlier and took a few pictures on my phone because again the woods were gorgeous - glistening silvery against a blue sky as they melt and shine in the sunlight. I love nature! :D

Getting a decent amount of snow here too. Hopefully it ends fairly early tomorrow so I can go to the grocery store. I need food for the week! Got home late last night from work so I didn't end up going to the grocery then... whoops. Might test out a cake recipe today for my dad's birthday if he ends up going to his mom's that weekend.

They predicted 1-3 inches of snow from snow showers today, but we have more like 5-6 inches and it's still snowing. I had to go out earlier to take the dog to the vet and Tom to work, and the roads were pretty bad - saw a couple people stuck on the side of the road and my car was sliding even going slow.

I can handle driving on the flat roads, but there's a big hill that I have to go up/down to go to those two places.

And, people are so annoying. The person in front of me was going too slow (like 5 mph), but I was giving him room because, you know, it's snowing and the roads don't seem to be treated. The person behind me was tailgating me though. I don't know what he expected me to do.

Ugh, I hate when I get tailgated! Especially in the snow! The way I look at it, if you plow into me when I stop, it's your fault! Hubby had to go into work. I'm sure it will be a quiet night though. Been working on taking my Christmas stuff down. Trying to reorganize the boxes and get rid of stuff I haven't used in years.

I hate being tailgated in bad weather and even in the dark. The light reflecting on my rear view mirror drives me nuts. I probably should move the mirror but then I don't know if I'd get it back in the right place when I move it back. Unless its daylight out then I wouldn't have an issue.

I didn't know there was a trick. If you remember what the trick is, please let me know! What I was doing was trying to keep the biggest blocks across the top row and trying to never slide the blocks down(so only using left, right and up after I get several blocks on the board)

I thought there was a trick where you keep going left and down until you couldn't any more, then you go right and down... but it's not working for me lol. I got real close, then it screwed up on me and I lost :( LOL just read what you did, and it's pretty much the same way I do it, except you go up instead of down.

Congrats Jeff & Jenn. I've been playing 2048 a lot, and have been doing pretty much what you said Jenn. I got to 1024 (with some other big blocks) a couple times, but that's about it.

I wish we could send it for sp 10x a day like other games.

Same Mina. I get to 1024 in almost every game and then I end up losing when I run out of moves and have to move the top row with my big blocks down. Bleh. I'll try again for a bit before going to clean off my car and go to the grocery store.
