I woke up this morning with a bruised toe...I don't know how I did it. But right by the nail bed it's dark purple. It hurts a little, so I don't think it's broken. I will have to keep an eye on it though. If it's still discolored next Saturday I think I might need to go to the doctor. I don't remember dropping anything on it or stubbing it. So weird.

Mostly done with chores. I'm short on quarters though, so I'll do laundry another day. Next apartment seriously needs to have laundry that isn't coin operated. Having to get quarters constantly is really annoying!

IT'S SO HARD TO FIND PLACES WITH IN-UNIT LAUNDRY. Although considering my boyfriend will be working as well next time we move, we'll have a bit more in the budget so hopefully we can get at least the hookups for in-unit. I don't mind too much though since the rest of the apartment is really nice. I could use a slightly bigger and/or updated kitchen, but I make do. :)

<3 I feel that pain! It's crazy how much laundry facilities make the prices jump. When we looked at this place, it had a washer dryer in it, we rented it, go to move in, and the washer dryer is gone! lol The listing was originally $950/mo but they agreed to $900/mo since we were signing a long lease so we figure they took that out to make up for it? I don't know, but it's certainly irritating to show up to your new place after a long sweaty move in the desert sun and have no way to wash everybody's clothes. Yay for a bigger budget! I hope it puts you up over where those in-unit places start to show up. ^_^

I really hope so. City living is wicked expensive, but we can only live so far outside the city and still be near public transit for me to get to work. We'll be in our current place for another year and a half until my boyfriend is out of law school, so that quarter life will be mine for a while.

Hello again. It took a bit but we got our outside decorations up. I have those three spiral light trees that many people have. I wasn't going to put them up this year, but Tom wanted to. I also bought a cute light-up Dachshund.

Pretty sure everybody is getting boring gift cards for Christmas this year, just can't seem to get into the whole shopping/crowd thing.

all of my pets have read at least 1400 books. The rest came from intel boosters. I've been using tomes as level boosters for a while now.

I been creating 1 or 2 pets per year for the last few years. I usually get them some intel from spindles right away and then read around 1200 books to them. The mass reading is definitely the hard part! The rest comes a little at a time.

That feat should be some kind of achievement goal.
