Started working on the pipe racks yesterday, oh man, talk about some interesting stuff - when you and your hubby have entirely different views/images in your head of what it should look like...yeah...his won, but he 'altered' it enough so that it sort of looks like I wanted...funny, it's all for my business yet he keeps pushing to have certain things totally his way...none the less, the racks will be amazing when they're finished! We ran out of connectors after buying out our closest home depot's inventory, hubby was checking the home depot near his office to hopefully pick up the rest of the connectors we need - I would love to get the racks finished sooner rather than later because what had just become a functioning LuLaRoom is now a hot mess that is too cramped to do anything - especially a live sale which is what I have scheduled for tonight...and now have to hold off until later in the week :( I just keep telling myself that it'll be totally worth it when it's done, lol...totally worth it :D

I have some odds and ends to finish up today and a ton of calls to get made - all the fun stuff :) Will hopefully get a chance to hop back on later this afternoon. Have a wonderful day everyone <3

I had a whole list of things I needed to get accomplished today...and here we are middle of the day and I feel like I've gotten nothing done, lol. If I hear 'someone will call you back' one more time I may lose it! How hard is it to give an answer or quote without making me wait on a call back...seriously this is not the way to get me to switch insurance companies - especially when over an hour later I still haven't received any call backs...ugh, I hate the process of switching insurance companies!

Ok, enough of the rant...I need to actually get some things accomplished and run to the store at some point now too - went to get my cookie dough started for roll out cookies only to discover my stash of butter is no more...so a trip to Target has now been added to the rest of the things I need to do today and that I'm putting off by answering emails & playing on here, lol...

I already went to 7 stores today and now I'm completely done with Christmas shopping. I asked John to put the two leafs in the dining room table for me before he goes to work so I can finish wrapping and work on candy bags and scrapbooking tonight while playing and watching fuller house. Right now, I'm taking a break and trying to get boxes!

Not sure if I mentioned it or not here. Yesterday I took a tumble when I was coming back from getting the Sunday paper. Slipped and fell onto my back with my head hitting the ground hard enough to stun me. It felt like my head bounced but since the nerves were stunned I'm not sure. That feeling went away and I didn't have any thing like a concussion. Today I went to see a doctor about if I should see a chiropractor since my neck was stiff and all that. They said I shouldn't and they took x-rays to see how my neck was. It was good so I just need to wait for awhile before going the chiropractor and take pain meds for awhile.

Enjoy what time you have left with your mom. I remember when my aunt moved to hospice care. They weren't sure she would make the night. It was a difficult time, but everyone spent as much time with her as they could. You never know how long you have.

I hope our dad's surgery goes well.

So my mom passed peacefully this afternoon. She was surrounded by her family. Although heartbroken, I'm glad she is no longer dealing with infections or pain. Thanks again for the love and support you've all shown. It's much appreciated. ❤

Sounds like an efficient night! Fortunately my family is doing a low-key Christmas (more focus on food than gifts). Next year will likely be a different story, so I'm plotting from now :) Hopefully I can be as efficient as you for the gifts I am giving out this year though.

Just finished making cookies to decorate. Attempt at the recipe and bake time/temperature came out pretty good. I'm happy enough with it to bring it into work Wednesday. Busy couple of days of baking for various work events. Oh crap, speaking of, we're doing a work Yankee swap thing. Need to go find a gift for that...
