Thanks :) If all goes well I'll be in the new apart in 3.5 months. Right now I'm confined to my apartment due to having injured my knee... it's been 1.5 months going a little stir crazy. What I'm looking forward to is being in a residence where if I make a few friends I could see them or they could visit me. There will be activities as well and there are a common room and a common kitchen with a BBQ.

My neighbour has been super kind. He got me groceries and covered 2/3 of the costs. I haven't been able to go to the food bank and with my knee, I can't carry things. At the new place, there will be a grocery store on the 1st floor... I have to go outside but less than 5 min walk.

For my glasses, I've had problems for a while and getting a bit worse. I scratched them over 2 weeks ago... time it took to get an appointment with the optometrist that I had last time (she's gentle, patient, and sweet), get the form from social aid to cover part of the costs, and wait to see a low-cost seller, well... I'm looking forward to when I have them. Funny thing, turning a different number for my birthdays doesn't phase me... but learning I need "anti-fatigue" which leads to bifocals ouff that hit me. I might look in my late 20s but my aging body tells a different story :P

It seems I forgot the Bathhouse again. Kind of frustrating. I'm more frustrated today since I had wanted to go out to an event but I am in the path of the freezing ice change to rain and then probably some bad weather tonight. I wish I could have a vehicle with AWD but no we have my mom's car that I can use instead.

Side note: My mom can no longer drive since her right leg doesn't move like it should and she has back pain and my car is technically out of commission since its been discovered that the bottom carriage is rusting very badly to the "you can't drive that anymore" stage.
