Good morning,once again it is snowing here.

There were questpoints in the baths this morning. Looks as if I haven't bought many of the winter themed items yet judging by the number still wishlisted on the news post so that's pretty useful.

It's snowing heavily here. Too bad it swings up into the 50's tomorrow with rain... so the snow will be gone by Monday :( Oh well. I'll enjoy the pretty scenery while it lasts!

We have around 6 inches of snow I think, just by glancing outside my window. There could be more. We're supposed to get up to 13 by 12 tonight. I don't know if we'll get that much but there are a lot of hours left! And then our high temp for tomorrow is -2!

Ariana, her boyfriend, and the boyfriends mother all missed their flight yesterday. They left the army base around 1 pm, but apparently shortly after a freezing rain started and due to accidents and stalled vehicles traffic barely moved - it took them 3 hours to go 2 miles and about 9 hours to go a distance that should have taken a bit over an hour and a half. We actually called the airline when it looked like they were missing their first flight and were told that as long as they made it to the airport by 7:45 pm they could wait standby for the 8:20 flight - which had 4 seats available. When 8 pm rolled around and they had barely gone another mile her boyfriends mom called and was told it would cost $1,000 to 'fix it', so Ariana called me...and I did fix it :) I called the airline and explained the situation - pointing out that they had no control or advanced warning of this freezing rain storm, that Justin had just completed training in order to serve his country, and that this is the holiday's and telling someone it's going to cost an additional $1,000 to get them home isn't quite the level of holiday spirit one would expect...and the guy was like 'You are absolutely right, let me see what I can do to fix this'. They are now flying out tonight at 7:05 pm and will arrive in Orlando around 10:30 pm - and I have to drive to get them... but it totally could have been worse and I am so grateful to the guy at the airline who fixed the situation and didn't charge us to do so <3

I have a few things to get done around the house and then a quick trip to the grocery store... Have a wonderful day everyone!!!

Wow, that's horrible Theresa. I'm so glad you were able to fix it for them. I couldn't imagine being stuck in traffic like that. Where were they at again?

It snowed overnight here but it's supposed to be 50 today, I think, and 60 tomorrow. Right now we just have like frozen slush on the grass.

We'll get our Christmas tree and do some other shopping on Monday.

I just wrapped all my presents and ugh...I really hate wrapping presents. And the moron that I am, I offered to wrap hubby's too. forehead smack I altered it though and said I would wrap his presents if he did some dishes and cleaned his bathroom!

Wrapped all the gifts yesterday, so outside if having to pick up hubbys gift, I am 100% done. Yay.
