It is so hot and the air is so still, without the a/c at night I feel like I cannot breath. But if there is even a little breeze, I skip the a/c and turn on the fan low, just to keep the air moving. I like your HA!

I feel that way with the A/C on. fortunately the last week there have been afternoon storms. The rains bring down the temperatures and the wind make the outdoors comfortable. Sure there's flooding in some places, and some people have a knack to complain about things they can't control.

If I don't write it down or put it on my wishlist, I forget also.That's why I like that we can see all the CWs at our wardrobe page,I can look & say I wanted that at one time,Hahahahaha 😉 That is so nice for the a SPCA to do that for you.

Thought so ;) Thanks. I read on the internet that putting a bottle with frozen water in front of a vent really helps.(Don't think it was meant for hanging vents though ;) )

when all we had cooling our home was air-coolers, we hung wet towels on the windows. But the breeze works better. It's ok. I appreciate the weather, just sweat a lot. :) I will try the frozen water bottle idea and let you know... ;)

Over here we don't have a lot really warm days. Most days we have temperatures between 64 and 75 F in summertime.

I cool my room to 75! hehehe

Oh my! It's hotter than hell here in Texas. In the 100's most days and humid! Thank God for central air! I wouldn't survive without it!

About the only good thing with all this rain is some folks have overgrown lawns. I've been asked to clean out some yards. I get to play with my implements...like my hand scythe that I use backwards. I'ma getting some extra cash for the weekend.

I had a most excellent 40th birthday yesterday, I went shopping and had lunch with Alan ( hubby ) then in the evening We were joined by a good friend and went out for dinner and a couple of games of bowling, whilst my parents had the kids overnight :)
