Good to hear it went well! At least the coca cola keeps for 3 months if the bottles are closed.

That sounds like a nice vacation. Did you do any site seeing or did you relax with family?

It was nice, we went to Cheverny (department Loire). Husband and I never went there (we always go to Normandy). So we visited some chateaus there (is Loire department famous for), a Panzer museum and did some relaxing. We did things with the 5 of us and did things seperate, but have dinner with all of us every evening

That sounds lovely. You went to a tank museum? Interesting but I imagine it is not everyone's cup of tea.

Yeah we went to a tank museum, and that was something only my sister-in-law, husband and I went to. Husband and I are into war things (thats why we already went to Normandy for 11 years). The chateaus where lovely, we've been to Cheverny, Chambord, Amboise, Chenonceau and the little chateaus of Villesavin and Chemery. Husband and I also visited a museum with many old machines (old tractors from 1890, things with steamengines, etc)

I find WW1 and WW2 interesting so I would like those places too. The museum with old machines sound cool.

We're most interested in WW2, but WW1 is on the bucketlist to visit Ieper and Flanders fields someday. Yeah the old machine museum was coller then we thought it would be

My city has the only WW1 monument and museum in the US. It is fascinating. I need to go back because there is so much to absorb.

Indeed we could drink that cola when we want.

I'm glad it went well. I'm also glad we are back to normal life.

A couple years ago, they projected poppies on to the museum and monument. They moved. It was so cool.
