We went a couple of years ago and are planning to go again this year. It's really amazing, because all the animals have their own habitat and aren't locked up in cages.

Maybe you heard of it last year that Bart Smit is taken over by Intertoys. I work for Intertoys. The plan was that in Belgium Bart Smit also gets a make over to Intertoys, but they put that on hold

I have been told that Kortrijk is a good shopping city! So maybe I should just go there for some shopping with friends. You will come up with something! Taking part in the contest organises is a good way to challenge yourself to make a different ha!

Ah, I hadn't heard yet, probably because Belgian Bart Smits haven't been made over to Intertoys yet :P I do know that Delhaize and Albert Heijn merged sometime in 2016, though! Personally I haven't noticed anything about that in the shops, but I think they're keeping things separate still. Which I'm glad of, because I prefer going to AH!

Yeah, it is! We've got a lot of shops here and a lot of cafe's too. If you ever come to Kortrijk, you should definitely go to Viva Sara Kaffée on the Grote Markt. Marvellous coffee and tea, and delicious mouleux! Plus they also sell the same coffee and tea in their attached shop, so you can take some home with you :) Is there a thread for the contest yet? Do you just have to dress up for Masquerade?

Where do they live then, if you don't mind me asking? Also, do you live in Belgium too or in the Netherlands?

Probably , That's why they put a hold on it. In Belgium you only know Bart Smit,. So that's why they stopped the make-over there

If I'm correct you live just above Utrecht and I live under Utrecht :)
