Yeah I've been really happy with the Melody wearables! I was just doing some training at work, nothing super formal. We had a trainer come in to teach me some laser stuff last week and that was good! I feel more comfortable with that now!

Nope, we won't be together on actual Christmas. We will both be with our own families. We kind of figure that we only have so many years to do the 25th with our own families. Once we're engaged we have to start going everywhere together xP

Well thats just it. I see them never so the opportunity to see them at Christmas is good! I'm going to his extended family's thing which is a few days before Christmas and he'll be coming to mine on the 26th. Just the 25th we'll be apart!

I actually secured a job as a primary school teaching assistant randomly in the week, I had an interview in the summer and the headteacher said I just didn't have the experience with children but e-mailed me saying there is a new position in mid Jan can I start on the 16th so my work time will be a lot better, and every weekend off!!! and school holidays!!!!!!!!

I'm exhausted, so literally exhausted I called in sick to work today haha. I'm giving my notice in on Monday and as I only have to give a week and I'm gonna do it before my shift starts I'm gonna get out of working the week between christmas and new year haha. What have you been up to?

I love my job! It's just really really really exhausting and having different days off/hours every week is urgh. I wasn't going to take the new one but it's a teaching assistant job in a primary school, it's temp and perm if they like me by the summer holidays haha

I hear that. I've done that schedule before and it's no fun whatsoever. You never feel rested and can never make any concrete plans.

Aww, I totally understand that. It would be nice if they let us choose when we want to use them. I've bought a 1 month GA with the csc they gave us. I activated it, but now of course I haven't been getting on the past few days to use it haha

Yeah, but the health coach position pays WAY more. And the hours are a lot more stable. But the clinical position I could make a lot more connections... Idk. I'm having trouble deciding. I accepted the health coach position because they needed an answer yesterday but I don't start until the new year. If I hear back from HR at the hospital before then I will need to make a definite decision. If not, I'll be working as the health coach.

Better pay? Health coach. More interesting? Pediatric feeding tech Better schedule? Health coach. Distance? About the same.

I knew you were going to use that Melody wearable as soon as I saw it this morning ;) That's a tough decision. But I will say that pay isn't always the reason to take a job. I took the lesser paying job in the end when I was deciding, but I'm SO happy. And there's always room to grow.
