My cat has become very grumpy ever since I got my dog :c She used to be so cuddly, now she goes off on her own.

Can we do a Christmas without gifts? I love gifting people but I hate how Christmas has just become about buying buying buying.

Ah, makes sense! When you said delivered, I thought opened! In my house, we usually don't have anything under the tree until the day or two before Christmas. This will probably be my last Christmas at home, though...

We would probably need to move to Whoville ;) But I'm so with you on that, the crowds and scrambling to find something for everyone... it's a bit (a lot) of a nightmare. There's nothing like that warm fuzzy feeling of seeing someone's face when you get them something they love, though.

Yeah that's true. I like to gift unexpectedly though. It's like everyone EXPECTS a gift for Christmas. Idk.. my family knows I just graduated college and am only working part time. I wish I had skills to make some great home made presents. Those are always awesome because of all the time and effort put into creating it.

Great news guys! I have been applying for new jobs and I received an interview yesterday and was already called for a second interview! It's tomorrow morning! Wish me luck. I wasn't going to say anything so I wouldn't jinx myself, but I'm just too excited!

Not really special plans, but my family will be there. I haven't seen my sister in... 4 months? I'm so excited. And my parents and my grandpa also :D I don't get to go home very often and my sister has been to busy to come visit, as have my parents.

Work is pretty crazy since it's the week before Christmas... it's always busy. I'm going to be moving to my new location after Christmas permanently which is exciting and nerve racking. My manager is too pregnant to do her job anymore. She hit her breaking point yesterday, poor thing. And she passed all her clients over to me haha.

Done with both of my interviews! I'm nervous about the overlap if I'm offered both jobs... One is with a hospital so it takes awhile to go through HR department. The first job (health coach) said they would get back to me by the beginning of next week. The hospital told me it might be a few weeks before I hear back from them. PONCHO LIFE.

Thanks! Yay for ponchos! SO I applied to two different positions. One is a nutrition health coach with a company that provides employee health benefits for insurance purposes. I would talk to people who are overweight, have a chronic disease such as diabetes/hypertension/hyperlipidemia/etc., or people who smoke and discuss nutritional goals with them. The other job I applied for is a pediatric enteral feeding technician. This job is only a technician job but would look AMAZING on my resume due to the clinical experience. I would be mixing the mother's breast milk with other substances such as proteins for the children in the neonatal units who are premature/having growth issues. SO interesting to me xD I love numbers.

Yeah the enteral feeding tech position. I want to do clinical work in my future and this goes right along with that path. Plus, the DI (dietetic internship) programs are SO competitive to get in to, I need all the help I can get
