he's learnt an incredible number of words so far, considering he only started speaking real words in September ;) His favourites at the moment are anything that ends with "ee" so "Sparky" and "coo-ee" are the ones you'll hear most often ;) I say "three, two, one" when I'm about to put his light on (or off), so he's also learnt "three" and "two" - he just says them randomly during the day :P

But he also has picked up some things we weren't trying to teach him, like "need a wee" and "pardon me" (he heard that a lot after our Christmas lunch 😊)

Budgies make great pets! They are pretty simple and inexpensive to care for as well. If you can get a hand fed one, that's the best way to go. Usually hand fed birds are more tame and social. ;) Aww, cute! River and Brook, very fitting. ;) I like the gingerbread look today! :D

Seeing as Santa 'forgot' the plier things for putting in poppers that I'd asked him for (:P) I got some from town yesterday.... plus a bias binding maker that was mispriced, but they said was the right price (marked at £2.10 but all the others I've seen in that size (even cheaper brands) have been more like £10) ;) I managed to get the poppers to work too :D So Mum's now got a spring-themed phone case with something other than a hair elastic and button to keep it closed laughs

Oh, nice! :D You did a great job with layering the sweater, I hadn't even noticed that there were holes in it. xD The tights were layered well, too! The constellations looked perfect on them. I often find that I have to layer several pairs of tights to get the look I want. ;) Niamh looks lovely today, too! I like how her sweater matches the snow outside the window. ;) Thanks! I figured that I had to do a sparkly look with the magpie. I must admit that I had trouble finding something that layered well under the cape, though. xD

No worries, I have days where I can't muster the energy to be social either. ;) Oh neat! I have never had a bird that I had to hand wean myself, all of the ones I got hand raised from breeders were already weaned when I picked them up. I hear it's a great way to bond with your bird, though! They work well. xD Actually the magpie was yesterday's look, I didn't change it right away today. :D And thank you! Zoe looks like she is having fun today. ;) Is she on vacation in Paris for the holidays?

It does. I'm an introvert, so social interaction drains me, although more so in person than online. I find it easier to be social online. xD I will have to look into that! I'd love to volunteer at a wildlife rehab, but the nearest one is over an hour away. =( I love them, too! They are still quite pricey in user shops, although I am considering buying the purple one anyway. xD I don't think they look girly at all. o.o Maybe the pink one, but definitely not the others. They look pretty neutral to me.

Thanks :D I'm starting to do more layering rather than just picking one thing and going with it laughs I loove all the reds today, that frame & the sparkles set it off brilliantly :D I couldn't resist adding in some snow outside, seeing as today our weather is 53F (why can't winter weather be chilly all the way through, instead of cold one minute then stupidly mild the next?!) :P

Layering is so much fun! :D Thanks, I had fun with the reds and pinks. ;) I had been hoping that the Lumi duck I slotted on would have gone through before I wore that outfit, because it matched, but it did not. =( It was in the 50s for us the week before Christmas, too! You can have some of our cold weather if you like, it was 11F yesterday. x.x We got about 4 inches of snow, too. I do think the temperature fluctuations are weird! Although I must say that I am conflicted, because I prefer warmer weather, but I also think that winter should be more consistent. xD
