I had a pretty great day. We had a baseball game this evening and my son (the 8 yr old) hit a triple and came back and said that's for you mom! It was awesome! Then for dinner my husband cooked. The kids wanted nachos, but he made me a steak, just for me! We made a huge fruit salad with cream cheese dip as a family. It may have been simple but I loved every minute of it. Now time to go take a nice hot bubble bath my husband has drawn for me.

Ug...there's nothing worse than dry fried chicken I know by BoH it has to be cooked to an internal temp of 155 (I think, its been a while since I've had to qualify for safe serve), but there are so many ways to keep the meat moist, the Colonel's been doing it for over 100 years

LOL My German is terrible, it would probably get me into trouble in Munich and even our sweet and gentle would probably slap me for butchering the language. Isn't that always the way though? Responsive language stays pretty good or you can actually sort of understand what they're saying, but expressive language goes to crap

There was a power outage on Sunday and burnt out the router, so yesterday and today until evening it was out. I survived and got a lot of laundry done, so it wasn't so bad. I know! I only did the one click dailies and replied to some boards.

Yeah, it's so frustrating to lose it like that, but without practice it's so easy to stop being able to do it :(
