I took Emma for a walk this morning, so that's my exercise for the day :)

grin. that sounds good to me, . lol

the hubby is gone for a couple days. (, I've survived not killing him for SIX DAYS!!) and i'll tell you right now. even without any rainbow, i've got a bottle of wine, creamy chicken tortellini, crusty rolls (from the oven!) and the only time i plan on doing any walking, is when i have to go and pee, feed the dog, let the dog outside to pee, to get food and drink.

hah.

that's how my next 2 days are going. lol

Umm, can I join you with that foods and wine?! I normally spend 20 mins each time Emma has to go to the bathroom. She walks everywhere, so sometimes I count that as my exercise because it's at least 3 to 4 times a day, sometimes 5.

my poor dog, . i was just thinking last night, that we BOTH (her and I) needed to start walking. lol unless i started running around the yard with her. hahahaaaa

Y'all could just walk around the backyard, then it'd be softer on the joints. 1st lunch? When did you become a Hobbit? :P

ok. now that i've stopped eating... i wake up before 7am. i have coffee and toast (so i can take my pills, wake me up) then. by 10am, i'm thinking FOOD. i usually do the cooking then also, before the day gets to hot. (ha. in tx. the day would already be hot by 10) :D so i fix and eat whatever i've got. then about 2/3pm i'm hungry again. so i'll eat. that's my "2nd" lunch.

grin. then 4pm and i start drinking. lol if i eat after that, it's usually a cracker with some tuna on it. (up to 3 crackers some times!)

and that's it. lol

grin. some times i have to do that "munchie" because i've really been drinking. and i need a little "something on the tummy"

It makes a lot of sense now haha! I can only imagine, I'm going to make Crispy Baked Black Bean & Sweet Potato Tacos for dinner tonight. I also found out that you can put them in the toaster! Cut them 1/4 inch thick slices and toast them on med-high/high for 2 or 3 rounds.

OH COOL! HAHAHAAA I remember and i snuck onto your pinterest and took that recipe too! :D i would have made my grocery list longer, to get the black bean and sweet potatoes, but it was to late. heh. :( if the man has to get more than 5 things, "Its To Long"

yet he never takes me to the store.

and OMG the ATTITUDE I get, when he gets home. (it's his own damn fault)

saw a thing, of what foods (healthy) to buy, "live on 50$ of food a week"

i'm going to start putting some of these things on my grocery list, and start trying out different recipes with 'em.

$50 a week? I love to do that instead of spending ridiculous amounts of money on groceries. This is why I do the grocery shopping and Eric supplies the money haha.

i know! , heh. but than again. when i first lived in texas (Houston) we lived on less than 20$ a week, and most of that went towards cigs and coffee. heh. (and NOT "healthy" living)

mmm, its things you're getting now. (from what i can see) sweet potatoes tomatoes apples berres chicken plain greek yogurt

(well. wait. it didn't necessarily say Greek, i don't think) salmon eggs kale lentils black beans

any way. OH!! IT WAS RACHAEL RAY SHOW! lol (i knew that sooner or later i'd remember) the doctor went shopping with a audience member. (single girl.) and "whats his name" (not rachael) cooked during the whole show. every time he put a 'meal' on the table he 'rang the bell' def. a weeks worth of food, and he said he had left over stuff.

but he did things like, mushed up some of the black beans (made hummus) did something or other, added blueberries and i've got to admit. it looked interesting enough to try. oh! he made 'squash soup'? some thing soup. heh.

it was a lot of stuff. and most of it sounded good. you might have to go to 75$ because you're buying and cooking for 2.

ok. i'm going to get off line for a while. think i'll turn on Netflix and finish watching the seasons of Death in Paradise. heh. i'm going to be sorry when i get to the end. lol

i'm going to have to find something else to binge on. :(

Have fun! The Almighty Johnsons is binge worth. Eric and I finished it last night. Also The Paradise (not the same as what you are watching) is pretty good. Only 2 seasons. I'm still looking around for ways to bring down the grocery bill. I'll find something :)

(i'm leaving! I AM!) check out the recipes on the rachael ray show from yesterday. and really. doing what you're doing, and checking out pinterest, etc, helps find budget friendly healthy recipes.
