Urg! It's good we're not roommates, we'd be in screaming matches all the time. I've roomed with cold lovers before, it got ugly.

I am happy my hubby thinks the same way. Our kids do not.

I can sleep in rooms with closed windows and if I had a roommate that could not stenad it, I would do that

My circumstance was two "icys" in a dorm suite, with a bathroom between. The thermostat was sadly in their room and every night they would TURN IT OFF. Not down, OFF. In mid-winter, in a room made of cinderblock with tile floors. The last straw was when my roommate came in late and looked at me and "It's cold in here." I was awake because I was too cold to sleep and the other two had locked the bathroom door on their side, so I couldn't go in and turn the heat back on. It was the middle of the night but there was then pounding on the bathroom door, screaming at the top of our lungs and finally going to complain to the person on duty that night. Like I said, it was ugly.

well, you need to make sure everybody feels okay if you live together. I hope this is better now

LOL, oh, that was more years ago than I care to think about it. I live alone now, so I control the heat. My dogs certainly don't complain about it.

As said I would never turn of the heat control since here are people who need it warm and cozy

I'm somewhat with you on liking the coldest weather! I always sleep better at night when it's colder in my room, which makes it perfect living in the basement! And I love it when it snows and everything is pretty & white. There's a chance of snow or ice this morning, which means my work has a delayed opening! ❄️️

I'm doing well enough. It's a day off for me and the only real downside is that the plumber is here to work on some things, which means we have no running water. So of course my stomach decided to be upset. I'm considering going out shopping just to have working toilets. XD

It's funny how many people have had that sort of timing!
