The closest library to me is maybe 14 miles away, and without transportation thats not an option :(
Plus, sinc emy laptop screen is broken I have to have it connected to my desktop monitor, which might be frowned upon in the local library?

I have been trying to buy extras, like the ones that are edible.
The library may have computers there already, call and find out for when your in town you can go check them out. They do here, and normally libraries only required a utility bill to get a library card (in the U.S.). Darn that far out of town or nearest town that far away sucks. But living the country life has its perks, no ill mannered neighboring living just over the fence.
We get our fair share of drug users in the area, and some ill mannered people, but for the most part its 'normal' here.
Having to rely on one of my aunts to take me/my mom anyhere we need to sucks. Half the time she has an 'excuse' thats total BS as to why she cant take us somewhere. Pretty sure the only time Ive been out of the house beyond going to city hall, the post office, or the only store in town recently is Thanksgiving and soon to be Christmas. Cabin fever hitting me bad D:

Oh I now the feeling, my husband had a job overseas, and once I didnt see the outside of the front door for 3 weeks. I get to where I fell like everyone is breathing my air. Well one day your Aunt is going to need you and your Mom to do something, and then it will be her turn to get a taste of her own BS refusals.
Hopefully I dont go bonkers before then. Seems like that day is getting closer and closer D:

Has anyone else benefited from the quest benefits? I am making about 9 mill a day and getting at least 10 items worth over a mill right now. I am loving it.

I know the feeling, one night I made my husband take me out for a walk and it was after midnight. Lucky the country we were visiting has many shops open until the wee hours of the morning.
After maybe 8pm here, the only things open are WalMart and the gas stations (in the town 14-ish miles away). If I go farther away, theres more to do late at night.
If I get to do one/2 things next year, its gonna be A-kon and AnimeFest in Dallas. Since its likely Ill be accepted as a volunteer again at both, it means free badge and crash room. WOO!.
And if I DO get Christmas money, I want to try and get a sewing machine and some fabric to try and make my own cosplay. Though the things I really want to make out of the Tudor Tailor book I have are gona be a pain when it comes to enlarging some of the things- others will be really easy.

Now that is a small community.
I hope you get accepted you will have a ball. I sew, but have to use patterns.
My grandmother would cut out fabric with nothing for guidelines.
Well if you get near a computer, you can price sewing machines on craigslist.com. So you buy from people in your area, and maybe bargain with them. But ONLY meet them in public places like walmart.
Most of the patterns i use are really simple things that dont really need patterns. Just squares/rectangles sewn towgether, and there ya go. I was trying to make something for a local ren faire I was going to, but I ended up not being able to go. BUt part of it could work with a few of the cosplay doodles i came up with, so its not a total loss.
And thanks for the reminder, Im gonna check the WalMart website to see what I can come up with, maybe eBay. Highly unlikely that theres anyone close selling a sewing machine...Though there ARE some 'swap shop' groups locally Im in on Facebook I can check out

I have make 2 different pajamas styles one they wear here for men with tops and bottoms, and Egyptian version of a light night shirt for men (looks like the long white outfits you see men wear on the news which can be day clothes or pjs for men). Because my hubby is from Egypt.
Try all avenues you will find a machine. Oh FYI walmart sells all holidays materials for serious cheap right after the holiday. Like Christmas will start being real cheap by the 26th-27th of december.
I really want to try and find some lemon printed fabric to make some PJs so I can be the 'Travelling Lemon' (something i learned about from Cabin PRessure). Might have to go online for that, but I can survive without making them with the lemon print.
And lots of yarn :D. Theres a bunch of things I want to crochet but I rlly cant because I dont have the right colors, and it wouldn't look right otherwise D:

So annoyed, i cant get on here and enjoy myself, without hubby dragging me into what his doing. He cant figure why I want to scratch him.
Your pjs sound interesting, and I can picture a vibrant yellow. I crochet, too. My last project was a blanket that was 6 foot by 6 foot, I made it for my older son and his wife. I am going to make another one same size for my younger son. Hubby and I are going to Egypt in February and the yarn is cheap. The blanket that was my last project cost $100 and I used 2 skeins of yarn together from beginning to end of project.
Im making a headband for my mom right now, and I made her a hat ith the same yarn. Two of the maybe 3 things I can do without rlly looking at a pattern. And scarves.
I made my mom a big round blanket out of whatever colors I grabbed. Most of its light pink, but theres 2 or 3 different varigated sorts, gray, purple, some green, and blue. About 4 feet from one side to another? And $100 for 2 skeins of yarn? o-o wow, thats a lot D:
And IM trying to teach myself to knit. Gotta look up a bunch of 'how to knit for dummies' tutorials since those are generally the easiest things for me to understand. Fun times ahead!

Oh dang, I meant i used 2 threads/strings of yarn at once for every stitch the whole project to make blanket thicker, so that means I used alot of yard. Because I was using twice the normal yarn. which was hard on hands. I was just thinking I used 60 skeins of yarn on blanket = $100
How far from Dallas are you? I live across the border from Juarez, Mexico in Texas
That makes a lot more sense! XD Unless it was some freaky expensive yarn, that seems kinda wonky XD I THINK i have the really basic knitting stuff down, just gotta work on the tension and whatnot. And if I can use my crochet hooks since that seems to help loads too
Im maybe...3, 4 hours away in Arkansas? All depends on how fast you drive and whatnot I guess. Mapquest says about 3 1/2 hours, though on the drive there from here for A-kon, there were a fe car wrecks that slowed it down (and I took a few pictures of the trip there jsut because I could. And loads of cosplayers too :3)

For me to buy yarn that expensive, it would never happen. I started learning to knit from a friend, I can do up to the arms, and then I am clueless. My tension for crocheting and knitting is good, my grandma who taught be was strict on that. I want to try again. Maybe watch it on youtube. I am a visual learner, when it comes to sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Which is funny , I cut out the pattern for sewing, and then after that I ignore the instructions, except the pictures on the instructions and measurements. I have a 10 hour drive to Dallas from here. about 30 minute drive to Las Cruces, New Mexico
Well I am off to bed, Good Night!
- yes :) Me too. Loving the quests...trying to get as many as I can in each day.
