Thats what I kind of thought, when you said your were "getting surgery on the other eye." I have never tried contact lenses in my life, I have been wearing glasses since I was about 8 ears old.

We both have our luck in different areas here.

What kind of surgery. I had RK years ago and it opened up a whole new world for me. No more Coke bottle lens glasses!

That's how it usually is for me.

I should have turned on the music channel, I refuse to watch news more than 30 minutes a day. Its to repetitive sameness and politically motivated or bad things going on.

I know. I usually watch FOX news but honestly, I'm TIRED of the constant fighting and negativism. I prefer to go watch the Weather Channel if nothing else is on.

Congrats! I think my biggest peeve on the news is the broadcasters act like their BFFs with famous and political figures. When they have those group discussions repeat themselves just to stretch and fit into the time schedule their allotted. Every person in the group acts like their an authority on every topic, and talk over each other. I just turn the channel, I have things better to do with my time, I in no way feel I benefit listening to their crap.

, I had cataract surgery with the new multifocal lenses.. having also worn glasses since 8 years old. Was pleasantly surprised how easy the surgery was.

I dont like my eyes messed with, I applaud your bravery. My hubby will one day have to have cataract surgery his in the beginning stages.

Oh you lucky girl, you havent had to listen to the Egyptian version of this situation. The guest is an authority on what ever topic, barely if at all lets the interviewer speak, and they just drone on like their the biggest authority. When they just come off like a rude donkey, the interviewer just sits there for the whole hour, making agreeable sounding grunts. I just leave the room, I cant endure that kind of rude crap.
