Don't I know it. I know some furries, and follow at least one on Tumblr. It's extreme. I DO KNOW ONE that isn't into all of that stuff.

i have a few furry friends as well (five come to mind right off the bat) and yeah. one of them is a nsfw artist in the furry fandom and god, the things she's seen. honestly nothing fazes her anymore, she's an empty soul when it comes to that sorta shit. her girlfriend is also a furry artist, but i don't think she takes any nsfw commissions (as far as i know?) but she's seen some pretty gnarly shit too.

I try tagging to, but some people just... don't... at all. Not that it does anything. I don't have filters installed, ahahaha fail I won't unfollow for certain things like wincest or something, some of my favorite artists do it on occasion (I follow for Destiel, gotta put up with some Wincest). Thankfully I've never had to unfollow for racism or pedo crap. One of the fastest unfollows I've done was someone fat shaming people. They were gone before I could even fully register their stupid.

yeah, having things tagged doesn't really do much when people don't have a blacklist for it xD; incest just hits a cord in me that makes me grimace, i can't stand it :s unfortunately, the tumblr overwatch fandom is rife with all three of the things i mentioned, so i never, ever venture into the tag and i only follow specific people to stay as far away from it as possible e___e;;;

well no, no one is underage (i think the youngest person is D.VA and she's like... 19) but i have to put the foot down when people start shipping her with characters that are outright 30/40+ years older than her like,,,,, g od w h y and ooooooh my goddddddd THE WHITEWASHING IS SO BAD...... i cannot tell you the amount of times i've seen gorgeous art styles and then they make Gabe as white as Jack and my face just deadpans as i stare at my screen in numb disgust (and hoo boy don't get me started on the other POC like holy fuck it's like people forget different skin colors are a thing that actually exist)

I... I uhm... I am not too against that for some fictional characters. It can be irksome but I just figure "of age, it's now their choice" (although I side-eye people in real life, especially if they pretty much exclusively date younger). What really gets me is in a story/movie/etc when a "this All Powerful Yet Plain White Man has lived for 100+ years, broodily and hating humanity ever since his wife died" instantly falls in love with "the One True White Woman Who Just Turned 18 [or nearly] And Is Just A Plain Everyday Woman But Somehow The Most Special and Perfect" within a matter of hours of knowing her and Changes Everything About Him Instantly. Like... Is this what straight white people aspire for ? No wonder they keep getting divorced, they're idolizing unrealistic fairy tales. It's why I hated Buffy/Angel so much, but also him being old as balls and dating a 16 year old got under my skin even when I was a kid and didn't understand. Not to mention his personality, blah. ... But I am also shipping an ancient angel with an about-to-be 38 year old man.
