The appt makes me nervous because this problem with the kidneys started by my not taking meds for blood pressure and cholesterol for many years and then finding the problem when I fell in May and broke 2 ribs. And of course the BP beta blocker for the thoracic aneursym might not be working with them. Yet this med is the first go-to for that problem. Just learned more recently, since my aneursym is congenital it grows faster and since I'm under 5 feet tall if it grows more it will mean surgery as they don't let them grow too big. Well mine is 4 cm as of this past June and the surgery should be done at 5 cm. Like their names suggest, osteopenia and osteoporosis are related diseases. Both are varying degrees of bone loss, as measured by bone mineral density, a marker for how strong a bone is and the risk that it might break. If you think of bone mineral density as a slope, normal would be at the top and osteoporosis at the bottom. Osteopenia, which affects about half of Americans over age 50, would fall somewhere in between. Thank you, I hope so too, but if it doesn't get worse I will be plenty happy.

I hope and pray that all of your tests for your health are simple to fix with meds. Surgery is not fun. I know that for a fact.

More meds I don't want and the surgery I will not have just like my dad. Being a senior now myself for some little time now I know that major surgery is not for me and I still have a probability of 5 to 10 years. I'm good with that as I'd hate to pass on the operating table. Sorry for that last but I do feel very strongly about it. Your are very welcome for the info, I'm learning along with you, LOL. Well I'm agreeing with you. No more surgery for me either. After that quadruple bypass last year that did it for me. I'll let God take care of me and if He thinks my work is done, He can take me home. :)

doing okay enough to enjoy it. Did have to lay down for a bit but that was it.

surgery isn't too bad overall. It is the recovery that can get you.

my dad has that too. That is why his back fractured. It was a combo of the sepsis attacking his bones and long-term smoking according to his doctors. He had to get lots of injections at first then more over time, drawn out, and daily pills. Yeah, not fun. Men are getting it more and more as they are having longer lifespans.

I'm doing okay. Busy days so less time on subeta recently. Even the couple of days I've been home I've been on the go. Actually need to get off the computer now to start getting ready to head out for the morning. Hoping to have the afternoon at home though. Glad you kept power. We've rain up here today but no storms. I'm good with rain. It's not snow! If another newscaster talks about wanting a white Christmas I'm going to have to smack them! lol White Christmas wishers take no consideration for travelers that can't take extra time because of weather.
