okay really getting ticked. I've tried everything I know of to get Esmeralda and nothing I've done has worked. Can someone please take me step by step on how to get her? I'm so upset over this (which is silly) but I would like to have her as a battle opponent.

So I totally typed up responses yesterday morning and then instead of posting them (I type it all up in a wordpad first), and I accidentally closed the wordpad xD I hadn't yet finished my coffee...I will blame that.

I hate when space gets in the way like that :( I also hate when the weather jumps temps like that! That is ridiculous! I hope it evens out for you, soon!

Maybe the roofing guy will know of a contractor or electrician. I heard about a contractor out here from our plumber.

So glad your Dad was able to go home! Maybe whatever they gave your Dad couldn't be made into a pill? Like it does better going straight into the bloodstream...I don't know enough about that stuff, but men totally need to ask more of the important questions! Andrew doesn't do that a lot, either, unless one of our pets are involved, then he's fine. I hope you can get that back room at work! Open floor-plans sound great in theory, but they gotta be done right. I hope yours will be! Still, it sounds like it will noisy and a huge change. 5 more days of school, 4 with students! Counting down the hours!!

For Esmerelda: Put or any three Sui with pink in the title on your HA. Then go to Subeautique. She will challenge you. I used Bloodmoon's Axe and it defeated her every time. But after 6 or 7 rounds, she doesn't give anything good. Happy battling!

Happy Mothers Day to those that are! I had a nice time. My son picked me up and we stopped and got chicken and went to Mom and Dad's and got to eat together. I really enjoy getting to spend time with everyone. I missed my brother because he had to work, but it was still nice.

Good afternoon KSrs

Nothing but rainy days since late last week and again from tomorrow evening through the weekend. Not a lot to do here when it's raining. Except me annoying the KSrs in discord with my anxiety the one night they put a tornado watch for us so I wasn't on the computer but I was on my tablet. They were very nice to not tell me to shut up and go away.

Roofer surprised us by showing up at 8am this morning to do the roof. Said it looked like the only good day this week and it's not far from wrong though tomorrow early would have been okay. Hopefully it's corrected and we can move on to getting the interior water damage fixed and the few other things still needing fixing since Sandy hit.

It's part sentimental and it's part keeping the connection to NJ and part just having someplace that is ours that isn't in Ohio. Two different places. Stuff here we can't find in Ohio and vice versa. And during the pre-Sandy and pre-dad sick times it was good. Still always some issues because of distance but good. From Sandy on it's just been hard and we get no help from my brothers so it's extra stress on us. It's going to be hardest for mom though. Her parents and grandparents are buried here and visiting will not happen once the house is not ours. We've not buried Dad yet which needs to get done eventually and that's all here in NJ.

Sucks about the open office. Some open spaces would be fine but even in work everyone needs a little privacy for stress relief and comfort.

Sorry you're having to work so hard but I do hope that you are getting some good funds to help out with the medical stuff y'all have on your plate!

We've come down to knowing we have to sell up because since my father is gone there is no one to take care of it and we're so far away it's too difficult to take care of for mom and I trying to get work done in small increments of time that we're here. The fact that the roofer fit us in and so quickly is amazing. No one had done that before for us. We've had this house since I was 15. Spent my sweet 16 here. Though it wasn't raised up then. Didn't get raised until a flooding storm hit in the late 90s. This is my mom's house, the one in Ohio was my dad's. My mom didn't start living in Ohio more than NJ until she first got sick in 1999. Probably more than y'all want/need to know. lol

I have to rant.

Pff work keeps bothering me for a longer shift this thursday since yesterday morning when i came out of the nightshift. I told them it would be nice to consider that i had to get back to normal routine and would love to be free from work for once. And yes i could work the longer shift. Thought i was fairly nice.

All they said was "well we did not mean it by that but the shift has to be resolved and we send you a text instead of calling you as we knew you had nightshifts. The shift had to be solved. And if you don't want us to text call you on your days off you can talk to your manager about it".

Pfff!! I am even madder now, day off is day off even work should now as the planners have weekends of and won't get calls on there day off.

where do you work? In my younger days I worked at the hospital and they call you in all the time.
wasn't a good report at the kidney doc yesterday for hubby. went from 29% down to 25% and his hemoglobin was up. so that means another trip to the oncologist

nursing home for the elderly. Oh good luck with your hubby at the oncologist.

YAY -happy dance- Finally after over 1 month i have my couch!!

Today is my anniversary. Hubby and I have been married for 20 years. doesn't seem that long.

About time to the couch came, took them a month! Yep i get called in at the weirdest times.

Getting pretty irate at the fact that the bouquet flowers have not been floating. Not impressed w/ the most of the Vesnali stuff, either. Or the snail. ewww

Yay glad the couch saga is over! Hope you're able to right a thorough review about dealing with them on a popular website.

Don't get me wrong, this would still be a completely enclosed office, as in, no windows. Just everyone staring at everyone else on bench style seating - which is another reason it won't work for me w/ my back problems. There are probably around a couple hundred in my section alone so imagine a lunch room but much smaller so sounds carry louder and further.

J- There is a large number of offshore peeps here and their heavy accent is probably one of the hardest for anyone to understand, and they're usually a lot louder. To me w/ those 2 things, it's the most annoying one to hear on a constant basis. Have you been feeling a little less stressed now that you've had at least one person show up when they're supposed to?

Drac - They do make a pill like the injections he was getting in the hospital. It's called lasik or some such spelling. I suppose if they don't feel he needs to be on it, then that's fine but what bothers me is the recurrence of the buildup.
Today is my daughter's last day which makes me so glad to be over the whole thing. Now she's stressing about where she should work next, since the place she's at now is closing down. :sigh:

One of these days I'll get a straight answer from him, lol. He doesn't ask the doctor that many questions and it's only my younger brother that's w/ him most of the time so I never get a chance to ask anyone else and he doesn't ask, either. They're supposedly renowned for their heart care, so I'll take a small step back.

Been busy at work but have still had some time to collect flowers and give them to people. It will be quieter next week so I'm going to take some time off at the end of the week for the Memorial weekend.

I would love to have the snail if I could find the darn thing lol
