I've never been one to avoid the premium cash if it saves me a bunch of time; I put aside spare money for my games, so why not spend it. You didn't miss much with that challenger. He is technically a T9+ opponent. Subeta always brings back a lot of retired from the cash shop items for black friday, including battle opponents. I spent something like 2.5k CSC unlocking a bunch of challengers. It was a lot of battling x.x My company sometimes gives out gift cards if I've been putting in a ridiculous amount of hours and effort to fix a crisis as an acknowledgement of my efforts. They also give out gift cards for patent ideas. Any time I get a gift card it's like free money that I don't care what I spend it on so sometimes I will use it to buy CSC. I definitely used one of the gift cards for the black friday sales.

I can tell you are not from the US ;) Black Friday comes once a year and is on the Friday after Thanksgiving. It used to be some stores gave big discounts on items so people used to wake up early to hit up stores for holiday shopping. Now it's grown out of control and the deals aren't even that great most of the time =/ Anyway, Subeta also does their own Black Friday sales by discounting cash shop items. The battle challengers aren't on sale, but they at least bring them back for you to purchase in case you didn't have CSC at the time to buy them earlier that year.

I had been cleaning out my armory as I moved up in Tiers.

I am down to 45 items in there

14 of which are combo legends that I will probably only use 1-2 of them ever again, but I can't really bring myself to toss all those parched/singed mods :(

There needs to be an "armory vault" where I can store lower teir weapons still modded without them getting in the way :P

You can always save them for when your other pets reach T7. I did the same with mine so they do something like 50 icons of damage when modded.

I guess you can put them in your storage vault under a weapons tab, but I like how you can see their stats while they are in your armory. I wish there was an option to remove multiple items at once =/

Did a little bit of a weapon clear out. I am now down to 68....

I just bit the bullet and removed all of them except for aspersion acidtongue and origin

Aspersion and Acidtongue are the 2 best constants against tormented cursed effigy

and Origin + Gelatin Concotion or ME are the highest singed damage stackers

It was such a shame I didn't buy the double CS opponents last year (?) because they were sold for like 350CSC. They were sold for 500CSC this year's BF. I'm glad I bought the special opponents (mad scientists, forj, meatslab) last year because there was a small discount. There wasn't any discount on those this year -__-

@ Maskros do you mean the bird/dragon combos (Fruit Punch/Fruit Salad, Eventide Phoenix/Mornrise Serpent etc)? because they were always 500 csc, not 350. I don't think the other challenger unlocking items get discounted for BF, either?

@ cartel: I must have remembered it wrong then :P, but I had a vague memory that I paid 550 CSC for the research file cabinet, tome and altar last year. @ thesovereign: Oops I'm sorry to hear that. You can consume multiple experimental dew until you get lucky :'(

[edit] Yup just checked my CSC log. I did purchase the Summoning Tome and Summoning Altar for 375 CSC each last BF. Strangely enough the research cabinet wasn't in the log, but I'm pretty sure it was also discounted just as the altar and tome last year.

I remember buying the summoning tome for the meatslab at a discount. I think in the past they sold to year round opponents at a discount, but none of the opponents were discounted this year.
