Oh man I love pizza! Especially with veggies and then I usually add either chicken or ham. But no mushrooms! Lol, unfortunately... pizza doesn't love me back so I very rarely eat it any more. =( Somethin to do with being prone to heartburn (hiatal hernia) and the combo of grease and tomato sauce... and the fact I eat too many slices cause it's just so delicious! And prob cause I tend to drink soda with it too... XD

Also , good luck finding more work. <3 I will be on the prowl for work after the holidays, bleh! And going back to school with online classes. Nuuuuuu!!! D: But some extra income for the holidays would be great, I hope you find something!

Have you tried no tomato based pizza? If the grease is upsetting you, try a plain pizza base. Rub with a cut garlic clove to add flavour is you like. Top with caramelised onions and any roast veggies/lean meat you want. Add herbs if you like.
Cheese only if your stomach agrees!

You can pick a small base to discourage 'must have another slice' syndrome. Let's be honest, we all have that...

If I'm looking at a pattern I'd apply it but I've never had a concrete "project" based off them. The mood to find/learn a pattern is never during the same time I want to use it in something so the examples end up getting unraveled. It ends up being more Pinteresting than doing xD.

I was worried (and still am a little worried) that he wouldn't get back to working on it. He works until 4 during the week, so I don't know if he would consider a suggestion to work on it some after work. I'm really excited to find out what it is!

My feet hurt after standing that long, and my back has been super tight the past few days. But the treats went over well at work!

I keep telling myself to get started on the cards, but I don't know if I'll get started tonight or put it off until tomorrow. My husband needs some things and we might eat supper out tonight.

I love to look through pattern books and bookmark the ones I want to eventually try. I've done that with a book of sewing patterns from the 30's and 40's. The yarn colors almost perfectly match that, they were very 70's.

That sounds like a good idea. The yarn I used for my infinity scarf, I had been saving for a blanket, but the store I bought it from never restocked that specific color. It was a pretty dark purple yarn and would have made a very warm blanket.

I've been playing Animal Crossing Wild World for the past few days, so I don't know if its snowed yet in my copy of NL. Took me over an hour to pull all the weeds in Wild World, they were everywhere!

My favorite Miss Marple was Geraldine McEwan in the Agatha Christie's Marple series. She was close to how I pictured Miss Marple while reading the books. Then the actress changed and I just could never get used to the change. I've watched part of one episode of the new Sherlock. I may try watching the show again later. Good luck with the job search!

Thank you! Sunday was a long day, especially after I burned my finger on a cookie sheet. The fudge I made is half gone, so I might make more later in the week or next week. I also plan to make krumkake sometime before Christmas, but that might wait until next week when my holiday break starts. Whenever my husband and I order pizza, we get alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce, because I'm not the biggest fan of tomatoes any more. I have to watch the amount of dairy products I eat because I'm partially lactose intolerant (huge stomach within 10-20 minutes)

I'm that way with chainmail patterns. I'll look at a pattern or a picture of a piece made with a certain pattern, and just take bits and pieces and mesh them together. That's what I ended up doing for my bridesmaids' gifts. When I crochet, I tend to stick to the pattern, mainly only making changes to size.

Now off to start putting gifts under friends trees before playing some Fallout later tonight.

Oooo have fun with Fallout ! I was replaying the Mass Effect games to get ready for Andromeda but then they released the new expansion in the Star Wars mmo and I got distracted. XD I have tried alfredo sauce before, I think it was with a spinach type of pizza and it actually was very good! But it's not... pizza-y at that point, lol.

I know what you mean with the hiatus thing! I missed Morostide and Fireside last year because I ended up on a huge hiatus unexpectedly. It was so weird, so this year I had to force myself to make time cause I really wanted the site themes. XD

I ended up sleeping pretty hard so my mom made some stuff but I'll do the rest tomorrow. I have a buddy overseas that I'd like to send a cookie package to... it won't get there before xmas but it should still be a nice treat, and maybe get there around new years at least. =)

Weighing in on the pizza discussion. I'm not a big cheese person, so I LOVE a good margherita pizza with a light spread of sauce, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and topped with a good portion of basil. Yum!

My boyfriend had a pretty bad cold last week, and I'm starting to feel like I'm coming down with it too. Bleh.

Taking a bit of a break before finishing cleaning up the kitchen after dinner, then time to finish decorating cookies to bring into work tomorrow and make the cookie dough to bake tomorrow. Busy busy!
