Morostide is the one I'm looking forward to the most as well, but really I like all of the events. I love seeing all of the new items when they are released, the content team for this site is amazing.

I'm not familiar with the upcoming events so it will be interesting... although I'm still dealing with moving issues so I can wait. If I read correctly Alegarten is when you get extra prizes for joining the brewery club?

If you join the brewery club, you get a ping so you can buy the beer of the month. it's 150k, but if you are going for the gormand achievement or using it for treasure, it's worth it.

Keelhauliday is basically a pirate themed 2 week holiday. The Freyalise Ship shop becomes available. It's super hard to get things the first few days because EVERYONE is trying to get wearables and minions. I have gotten lucky a few times but I mostly end up buying from the user shops after the fact when the prices drop. There were lots of shark minions last year. I think you can get access to other pirates in the Battledome, but maybe someone else can clarify for me.

Morostide is flipping awesome. You trick or treat at users profiles for wearables, edibles, and minions. Euclid also opens his zapper for users to Zap special skins. Which reminds me I need to stock up on Wizard tokens for that. Also, Jaxon Skelly opens his pumpkin patch for people to find wearables, edibles, and minions. There is a special prize/achievement for finding Patch, his cat, and an achievement for finding the special minion of the year.

There were some bonus rewards given out to people who joined the brew club during Alegarten last year, but there haven't really been any other perks so far. IDK if there will be anything new this year, maybe an achievement for people who collected all of Gunter's brews over the year, but that's just speculation.

Keelhauliday is mostly buying from the pirate shop when you get lucky enough to catch a restock. I got some things last year, but not nearly everything I liked.

Morostide is definitely the best though, so many new items! Although sometimes it can feel like a chore trying to get them all by trick or treating and visiting the patch so many times just to get that one last item you need.

First we've got the anniversary of the site coming up in the next week or two though, which usually has some freebies to collect in the form of floating items around the site.

I think the old pirate challengers are only sometimes during Keelhauliday, but I don't remember exactly either. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them are brought back again anyway, because I'm pretty sure it has happened before during that event.

I hate the pirate holiday because it's like black heart hollow, tons of cool stuff I want that is never in the shop. Hate the stupid pirate shop. I like December when we can start throwing snowballs at each other. ;)

Ouff! I had a visit from firefighters tonight. I had come out of my bath and the fire alarm went off. It's not the first time I take a bath here. The alarm is nowhere close to the bathroom; it's in the front entrance. I used the entry door to "fan" the alarm and it stopped. I turned on the ventilator in the bathroom but the alarm went off again and would not stop. So, I called to have firefighters come check it out. Of course, it stopped ringing by then. They replaced the battery (which was new since I put one in a few weeks ago) and recommend to have the alarm replaced. Landlord lives downstairs so with all the commotion I hope they'll be willing to replace it. mmm so didn't need the chaos, I was already wound up because the bedside table (jewellery chest) I had ordered over a month ago is being detained for at least another month and they don't want to compensate me for the trouble. muffle grr grr & it's too late for a movie, but at least I can hang out on Subeta :)

Morostide is really fun, it's one of my favorites along with Survival! They're all pretty great though, and it's fun to have something more to do after the long summer break. We did have some small events, but nothing as major as the annual holidays.

And hopefully things can get sorted out for you. At least it wasn't a real fire though.

Survival was fun but the dancing (even with glitches) was enjoyable too :)

When I was a kid I had a close call with fire (dad left to get mom, forgot pan heating on the stove... white/gray smoke filled house while I was in the basement. Alarm went off and I managed to get everything under control but ever since then I tend to be over vigilant when it comes to fires.

IKR? The geltatin war + the games challenge seemed like a lot, but now I'm bored. - I'm ready for morostide, too. I can't remember what the anniversary stuff is like. Floater? Is there a shop? - Agree! I never get anything from there. It's frustrating. - Trying to dodge Irma and hoping power doesn't go off. - the fire alarm sounds scary!

Hope all goes well for the storm. There was a mini tornado near where I used to live a few weeks ago. Destroyed a good part of a park (especially the old trees) I went to often :S Yeah, the fire episode did mark me; however, I was lucky that my father trained me well of what to do in case of emergencies. I might be a bit over vigilant... but at least I feel safer having a game plan on what to do if something goes wrong. I like plans; although, if all else fails, toss the plans out the window and do the best you can ;)

Awes, hang in there. It's tough when someone isn't motivated and becomes grumpy. Hopefully, she'll start enjoying the classes and then it'll be tough to convince her to sleep in :P No matter how sore or slow I normally am, when I go out for a museum activity, I'm at the head of the pack rushing to get there :)

It will never be tough getting her to sleep in lol. I have a hard time falling asleep, but once I am asleep I wanna stay asleep! I am surprised both of us were able to get up so early all last week.
