I was excited at trying to get the shark and then I saw what it looked like lol. It wasn't even there to get, maybe later... so need sleep.

The issue with a smaller apart is that not putting away things overcrowds the limited space I have. It's visual chaos that's making me stressed and grumpy. I'm so exhausted it's taking extra long & have other activities I can't neglect so it's going slowly. I had even paid movers to help unpack, they overcharged, issue still unresolved. I winded up moving several pieces of furniture on my own to rearrange space and still not done. Can't move the rest until I unpack certain things. A real domino nightmare. My birthday is in a few weeks and family might want to come over so that's an extra stressor. Right now I can't even stuff things in closets to hide stuff, they're too packed & in mayhem. Somehow I'll get through this but it's not easy.

They'll worry even more about me if I don't let them see the place. Oftentimes some of my family bring me to a restaurant anyways... it's just annoying too much clutter not much energy to do things. I also have to purchase other things which means more stuff, more boxes, more chaos. Today I'm getting ready to go sign up for classes (1.5 hr away), also get food at my old food bank, I might go shopping afterward but I'm tired so it's not the best timing. On top of that I'm trying to get a few things online but hard to decide between which ones, especially makeup brushes. I rarely use makeup brushes, there's one type I'd like but I'd rather a set and then the nightmare of too many choices, sensitive skin, etc. to consider. I wanna hide under the couch.

Rushed today. Emily is back in her online school, so we have a lot to take care of with orientations and stuff.

Is Emily looking forward to school starting again? I know I always had mixed feelings. I didn't like the "new" classes but loved falling back into a routine... I hated the instability of summer. Even now I still crave stability... I look forward to garbage/recycle & compost days. Ya know you need more routine when taking out the garbage is the best part of your day.

Turns out I didn't go out today. I was dealing with nausea & feeling pretty sore. I called and asked to register by phone as an exception; they were kind enough to let me do so. I only took 1 day (morning body & health, afternoon happiness). Should be relaxing Thursdays & I get lunch since I have classes the whole day :) Cooking club won't start until October since they're moving to a new local... but I might have to wait a while since I want to have my last wisdom tooth removed in Oct (facing dry socket again... 1 month of pain, so I'm waiting till after my bday).

I got another furniture delivery tonight... very fancy (and expensive) Oriental round shelf/figurine holder. It's small, less than 2 feet & round. The craftsmanship was horrible: not glued straight so the entire left side is not leveled. Luckily, I was able to get a refund & they don't want it back so I'll find a way to make the shelf hold. What a headache for a piece that was supposed to be a treat; at least now it's "free" apart from the time/energy/disappointment I've had to deal with.

I better go make supper... although that requires moving Gismo that's bundled up in a blanket and on my lap. He'll protest a bit but then he'll be asking for his wet food and be in between my legs. Adorable little bugger :) Take care

Emily is fine with school since she can stay home and just go on the computer. Even though she still hates getting up too early. It is nice that if she accidentally misses a class she can always watch a recording. She doesn't have to deal with anyone face to face. I am sorry you didn't get to go out, but happy that you were able to get your stuff done over the phone :) Ugh that is the one big drawback of ordering online. It is so convenient and you don't have to leave the house, but you never know for sure what is going to arrive. At least it is free! I made everyone else dinner and then I just had a salad. That is all I felt like having tonight. It is always rough getting back into the school routine.

My mother isn't a morning person; but, she made an extra effort when I was a kid so that I would get up. She would make it a friendly competition of who was ready first, making it more enjoyable to get up in the morning. I'm a morning but easily exhausted so prefer a nap in afternoon when I can then late evening person... so early bird, cat napper, night owl :P

Emily and I are both night owls. We always have been. This is the first year that she has had any classes scheduled at 7 :(

mmm 7 is a bit early for school, even for teachers. At least one can be in pjs while taking home classes, no travel time to get to school, one can munch on breakfast while listening to the teacher... maybe the teacher gets to do the class at home too. Double alarms can help. One to wake you and one in case your eyes closed and you think it's only a min or a few seconds when in reality it's much more... distanced 5 min apart. I have a watch with 3 alarms and I use that to help me function ;)

If Emily gets to a university level it can be easier than school all day since there's more "free" time between classes... to do more assignments on your own. Advantages & disadvantages. Temple Grandin's passion helped her focus her energies even though she faced a lot of challenges. ;)

Everyone is at home :) Teachers and students. I am hoping the crazy times are just for this week because of orientations.

Or you might have a teacher that enjoys teaching in pjs :P Some are early risers.

I am sure most of her teachers are in pjs lol.

I recall one of my teachers taught online early in the morning so he could teach regular classes during the day. It gave him a bit of extra cash. Mmm eyes closing better try to sleep since Gismo is snoring beside me. Never did figure out which makeup brushes to get. Too many reviews complaining. I'll wait till my aunt gets back from her honeymoon to ask what she does.

That is a good idea! It is always better to ask someone you know :) I am off to bed too! Night and sleep well
