Yeah it's hard to complain about free stuff but another item I just got is only worth 50 SPs. Why bother putting that in there. Would like at least 1 WL item as I keep seeing people posting how many WL items they got.

Hey Hun :) No plans. Just worried about our neighbors being too loud with the bomb blasts :( Emily gets so scared. She is already begging me to take her to a hotel or something. It is a shame we have to be run out of our own home!

I do not expect to get WL items, since those are more or less only a reminder for myself and expensive.

The best thing I got was the Keeto instructions - I made the toy and gifted that one to a friend.

Oh noes!!! They are still doing that? They need to grow the hell up! Poor Emily. :( Would she wear head phones and listen to music or something? Do they only do it right at midnight or are they the annoying ones who do it randomly all evening? Grrr... there's someone next street over behind me who does that! Used to terrify Penny but she's almost totally deaf now so she doesn't hear it anymore!

Yeah they are major aholes!!!!! Those things are so loud that there is really no way to block it out :( and they do it randomly which is worse. Her dad and his wife left :D wont see them again until next Christmas probably.

:D Yearly visits are doable... glad to see he's finally stepping up for Emily though! Did she have a good time?

I only like to get WL items because it means I can take them off my list and it's kind of annoying to see a lot of other people posting around the site how many WL items they've gotten. Last item I received from the free shop was worth 50 SPs.

She seemed ok. Just uncomfortable at times. At least no one bugged her too much lol. She didn't talk to them, but that was expected.

I'm still getting super cheap junk from the free shop, last item is worth 1500 SPs. Discovered why. It's because, like the last 2 years, they have added a ton of Melody items into the shop, which are worth almost nothing. Year before last all the Melody items dropped so far in price because of this that they weren't even worth selling at all, they were going for pretty much nothing. I wish they would not throw that crap in there. :(

summer in my neighborhood: 11pm BOOM. 12am BOOM. every 5 to 10 minutes BOOM whistle crackle BOOM. ... 2am BOOM. car alarm goes off for an hour or two Not even sure if those are legally acquired BOOM.

fall/winter in my neighborhood: sometimes a guy randomly woooos or hoots through the street when people are usually asleep or not awake yet xD

spring is nice(r) because of birds chirping at 3-5am :D

I would have to move :P

My cat would not like the fireworks, but considering it is winter here - at least our neighbors do not mess around too much with fireworks when it is freezing out. Though snowmobiles and atv's are a different matter all together and much more noisy.

The bright side is, crazy noises add interest to lucid dreaming xD. They could do some quieting down. I can't sleep through complete silence though, it's maddening.

My daughter and I both have to sleep with at least one fan on for the noise. Even in the winter.

me too. well not the whole winter, i like the ventilation/ breeze. Window just makes it breezelessly cold or sucks the heat out of the room (outward draft).

2 weeks ago I boiled potpourri (lilac oil & orange peels) over the space heater. With the fan running it was like a scented humidifier haha

Our apartment is always really warm. Even if I have the heat off. I think it is because we are right next to the laundry room and that is where the water heater and heater are for the whole building.

ah so you potentially get the coolest summers and hottest winters. Further up the apartments and it goes opposite :x

During the summer I can get some really good breezes come in from the front and back windows, so that is pretty nice.

I also have to sleep with a fan on - winter or summer. I used to have a radio but have kinda grown out of it.
