R1 - Nostalgic

It is totally Macaulay Culkin's old movies. In Hungary there is no christmas without Home Alone :)

R2 - Perfect December

Since I am a student in university, my perfect day of December is the 24th. It is Christmas evening, It is not workday, there is no exam, just the fish and the potatoes. It is lightly snowing, the tree is decorated, we are singing with my family.

R3 - travel

I have a dream about the aurora borealis. I really like the lights, but I can easily get ill in the cold, so there isn't a big chance, that I would see it. However there are these glass igloos, and they are really nice :)

R4 - sticked

Harry Potter, always :) Na, for real, I really loved it as a kid, and I grown up eaiting for the episodes. There is always something I can overthink, and it is fantastic. However I don't really like the 5-7 books, nor the whole word of wizarding, there are some small things, that come in my mind sometimes. Oh, and the most important.. I love to read, thanks to it.

Round One:

A smell that makes me feel nostalgic is the tarte tatin yankee candle (it smells of apple pie basically) and I always remember having a store bought apple pie with custard at nanas coming up to christmas :D! We made our own apple pie last year and it was out of this world delicious!

I might just make it again this year yano....

Round Two

My perfect December day would be the 15th December (my birthday)! It would be snowing outside, fresh snow, none of this dirty mush and dangerous ice nonsense, the snow that crunches when you walk on it! I'd have opened presents and read cards at my own home with my pet bunny and my boyfriend before walking round to see my Mum and Nana to share some birthday cake with ❤️! That night my friends would come around with some alcohol to play drinking games and have fun :D!

Round Three

I would go to Oslo, Norway. I've never been yet I am obsessed with Norway! Everything about the country appeals to me. Especially the cold weather ❤️! I can speak a bit of Norwegian and I even love the language ❤️! My favourite author is Jo Nesbo, author of the Harry Hole series and if money was no option I would spend 3 months their on a visitors visa and stay in the Hotel Continental where Harry stays in the books and I would buy a house there and apply to move there permanently :)

Round Four

I can't remember what its from, but I remember watching a movie once where a mother and daughter are fighting and they are screaming at each other and saying they hate each other. The mother then dies before the daughter ever gets to apologise and say that she loves her mum. This stuck with me as my mother and I had a tough relationship when I was a teenager and now I make sure the last words I say to any of my loved ones are "I love you" when I'm leaving them. Not Goodbye, but I love you.

Round 1: I feel nostalgic when we discuss books/characters in my Children's Literature class that were part of my childhood. :) For example: Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan. Sometimes I wish I could return to simpler times.

Round 2: Honestly, my perfect December day is staying nice and warm inside with a hot cup of cocoa and a book, or passing time with a friend!

Round 3: If I could go anywhere in the world, I'd just visit Toronto to spend time with a dear friend and admire the cute black squirrels everywhere. :)

Round 4: I remember watching "Stand and Deliver" in an Education course last year. I cried during some parts because I was touched by tragic moments or how inspiring the teacher in the story was.

♦ ROUND ONE: What makes me nostalgic are these big soft blankets my family has. We've had them for a long time now actually but they're still really nice and fluffy, and we always just bring them out around this time of the year when it gets cold. I have a lot of lovely memories of us wrapped up in those blankets all cozy and spending time together so it always gives me a warm ( :) ) and happy feeling when I see them.

♦ ROUND TWO: A perfect December day for me would be spending the whole day warm and relaxed 😆 I'd like to wake up to a cold but sunny morning and have some hot delicious food for breakfast. For it to be absolutely perfect, my day would have to include a good book to read in the cozy depths of my bed, a lazy nap in the afternoon, some hot chocolate and fireplace chatting/game/movie time with my family (with our favorite fluffy blankets of course) and a scrumptious dinner. A pretty boring and lazy day but that's my ideal :D

♦ ROUND THREE: If money and time allowed it I'd go everywhere, just live in different countries for months or years at a time to really experience everything. Hawaii, Alaska, New York are my top places in the U.S. that I have to visit at least once. England, France and Italy (especially Venice and Rome) would be my top in Europe, though Scotland and Holland would be up there because I heard they're gorgeous, and I'd have to stop and explore Spain. Korea and Japan for sure (I considered doing this program to teach English there just to be able to live there for a year lmao) China, Egypt, Morocco, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, New Zealand, Malaysia. I've been to Australia and Canada once before but I would definitely go back to live there for a while. A tropical island getaway and an artic adventure (with gorgeous night skies) are things I've always wanted to experience as well.

I'd also want to go to space, not technically "in the world" per your question but I've always wanted to visit space once in my lifetime.

♦ ROUND FOUR: There's this story called A Little Princess that I discovered when I was younger that has just stuck with me ever since. I identified really strongly with the main character, her vivid imagination and games of pretend were all things I did and had dreamt up many times as well, and her sad story but magically wonderful happy ending tickled my fancy just right. I admired her poise, positivity and beautiful heart and tried to model myself to be more like her when I was a child, and I think it helped a lot with being able to look at things from a different or more positive perspective.
