Ouch... In German, it's called "witch's shot" (so really similar to Italian). Much more poetic than "lumbago"... ^^

I don't mind new devices to much or new technology it does take a bit to get used to. I'm just not good with change. But the plans have changed this morning. My mom is still coughing pretty bad so she ordered the part she thinks might fix my tv. But they will still buy a new tv but will wait until after Christmas if this works. If not then they will give me theirs from downstairs and buy them a new one sooner because my dad wants a bigger tv. So i have to wait until at least the 15th for the part.

Boy it's getting dark soon and fast here in Holland. 4:30pm and it is almost dark, no fun at all. Quiet weekend for me, no plans but that is nice. So i can make a start on next week lessons i am going to give, check homework and do my own homework.

Hubby's excuse for getting a bigger living room tv last year was so I could have a bigger one in the bedroom. I told him that excuse wouldn't work again for a few years lol. He loves bigger tv's.

I almost lived in Holland. Hubby joined the Air Force before we got married. So his two choices for first assignment were Tacoma, WA and Holland. I would have loved Holland but being young and just married I was scared to go so far from home. Now I wish I wouldn't have been such a chicken lol.

My main issue with all the new functions you don't need is that they make for so much more things that can break and make the whole thing useless. And that's typical dad-reasoning - "well, insert reason of choice to get get rid of old device so we might as well use that opportunity to get a brand new one! And while we're at it, let's make it a bigger/ fancier/ more advanced one!". XD

Well, if you can't change the pain, you might as well give it an interesting name. XD Whatever people choose to call it, I hope it leaves you alone soon!

Yeah, I can see how no leftovers would be useful. Especially for Christmas, people cook up a storm, and then the next day go visit family - and have tons of leftovers... And yes, I'm German and have been living here all my life. :)

Hi guys. I just got home from walking dogs at the shelter I volunteer at. It was absolutely frigid out so I'm glad to be inside now! It was only in the 20s today. I'm ready for summer again! I hate the cold.

, it's so nice that you got such great Mystery Melody item. I had some really nice ones last year. I haven't joined in on it yet this year. Too busy filling stockings when I'm on. I need to get busy and do some quests too. Haven't done any in days.
