Bruce's last CT scan didn't look very good at all to the doctor but after he put in a phone call to the neurosurgeon, we are all reassured. The neurosurgeon saw some improvement and said for Bruce to just keep wearing the collar for another 6 weeks, have another x-ray and he probably would be able to take the collar off. Such a reassuring message. Made us feel much more hopeful. It's been 12 weeks already but old bones heal slowly. When Bruce sat up this morning to get out of bed, he heard a crack but no pain. I told him it was probably God's Holy Spirit in him putting those bones closer together so they'll heal faster. I believe it. 😄

, I'm sorry to hear that you had a stroke. It sounds like you're doing very well though and are getting on with a positive attitude doing all you can. I pray you will continue to get stronger on your right side. Being left handed is a blessing for you. Could thing trying to change you did not change you.

Thank you, . Head is mostly better now. Feeling waaay out of it. The medicine almost always takes the pain away, but also always leaves me really spacey. 😆

I have to agree, ! Man. The first 28 years of my life or so I didn't have any medication for it, besides Excedrin Migraine, which I popped like candy. I don't even know how I did it now that I'm on the other side. So thankful for diagnoses and proper medicine. Whew!

, I don't know how you did it either. I had migraines when I lived in Michigan. Thankful that I haven't had one since we moved to Canada. Michigan was way too hot and humid and we lived on a lake. I loved to work out in the flower beds in my bathing suit and jump into the lake to cool off every once in a while. But when I was finished and went in the house is when they hit me. Then it was a dark room and silence for me. My doctor gave me something for acid. His theory was while I was working I was using up the acid in my system. When I stopped it kept building up and is what caused the heaves, and pain. The pills helped, but I never have been able to stand heat and I think that was a lot of the problem. So glad you found the right diagnoses and proper medicine!

I don't do pity, only sympathy (in the sense of understanding that this must have affected your life in a negative - if temporary - way, at some point of time). :) Like , I definitely admire your attitude! If this ever happens to me, I hope I can learn to deal with it like you have.

I'd say it worked. ;) I hope the side effects of the medication subside soon (and that tomorrow will be a migraine-free day for you).

Did you say Michigan was too hot? 😂 I luuuuurve Michigan. I used to live there! I'm in Texas now. TOO HOT. 😆 I seem to be most sensitive to air pressure changes. I was doing better, then around 1:30 or 2 the pressure started dropping again. 😩 Definitely taking it easy tonight!
