What are the people you are looking for like? That will help me look for items. After all I have been collecting items for over 300 years." Chrisof fixed his goggles and looked at his inventory ledger.

Magnus let out a girly squeal and was almost jumping up and down. "A vampire? Get outta town! NO WAY!!" He was beaming ear to ear. "I've always wanted ta meet one! Oh, this is sooo awesome! What does blood taste like? Do it taste salty to you?" It looked like he wanted to bombard the man with questions.
He forced himself to calm a bit though he couldn't erase the smile. "Er, we'll me auror friend, Paul--e's mellow, nice bloke. Feels things intensely. 'E's brave, smart, loves Shakespeare, er...been an auror almost 20 years... like a brother to me."

He didn't look like he was going to elaborate as he moved to a box full of books "I have somewhere in here one of the first books printed that compiled all of Shakespeare's work... even some of the unknown by muggles. Is he an empath? you keep company of older people? That must be interesting for such a young lad." ()
"Sorry, no offense. Its just I've always wanted to meet a vampire. Liked 'em when I were littler, and then I found out about magic and were a werewolf and I wanted to meet a real one." He gave a sheepish smile. "Hmm, 'e could be. Don't like talkin' o' himself much. Is there away I could tell?" He nodded, "Paul sits wif me many full moons so I don't 'ave to be alone during me shifts. Even if I sleep with the wolfsbane potion. E or me dad come an' stay. 'E had a rough childhood so we kinda 'ave a bond. Neither of us really were loved or wanted--until I got adopted." Hmm, Shakespeare not known to muggles, Paul probably wouldn't have something like that. "That sounds like it might be a winner, the book. 'E has a connection to books. They were 'is friends as a kid, so he sees them as alive. Its neat to watch that love of the books."

I was about to sit down for tea before the crowds of kids come along. You can join me if you like. I have a box full of books your friend might like and also have a book about vampires. It is mostly known by vampires for vampires, but what do I need to learn that I don't already?" He smiled showing a little of his fangs in the process "I have books for every subject and from all over the world. I even have signed copies of some." You can look around the stall as well. I will just pull out two chairs while the kettle heats up." ()
"I got time," he said beaming. "I'd love ta join ya. Maybe I'll do all me present buyin' 'ere. Although, I'm so buying that vampire book you just mentioned for meself." He started looking around. "Its like you can feel the 'istory from these items. They got stories, they 'ave. I ain't every really been around antiques before."

It might come in handy in the future." Chrisof took out a China tea set that look to be at least 100 years old "Oh, yes all items have a history. Even new ones. They collect the memories of those who handle it and it becomes energy within the item. Have you ever felt a crystal vibrate? A quartz? Some use them as memory keepers for their vibrations and meaningful ways."He handed Magnus a cup and moved the tray with fixings closer to the boy. "I don't have many flavors, but I am partial to peppermint. It helps with my taste buds." bringing the kettle to the boy's cup.

"Yes," she smiled. "I would like to see your trees." She walked toward them, further into the lot. "What do you have in the way of firs?" She wondered. The smell of a good fir reminded her of her trips to the north woods searching for rare magical creatures with her family.
"Woah, thank you," he said. Then Magnus nodded, "I was told I probly won't get on well with most vampires. And I should avoid 'em cos o' that." Magnus watched as the man poured the tea. He was wishing he had extra eyes, so he could take in everything. He watched the way the man moved, and his mannerisms. He nodded, "Me friend Gaia, is a seer, she 'elped me in me divination classes. I never got on with that subject but when she bought out 'er crystals, I could feel those. Almost didn't wanna give 'em back." Peppermint helped, huh, who knew.

Chrisof took a sip of his tea "the old ones are tricky to know if they are friend or foe. Vampires are quite... difficult. I have learned to live among muggles and wizards alike. I did have my time as a solitary person and times where I couldn't control myself, but after time controlling yourself becomes part of your nature. I rather pursue knowledge than people." Chrisof chuckled. "Your friend does sound nice. I have a wooden chest of quartz and crystals." ()
He grinned, "She can be...er a 'andful sometimes, but only in the best way. Plus I'm pretty sure she'd call me a 'andful too." He nodded his understanding. "Ooh really? Think any would react to me? 'Er's were so... comforting. Don't know why though. I mean, I'm pretty sure I have zero ablity to see the future."
"Hmm, lets see the small ones first. So you have any specialty trees? Like magic trees? "

Chrisof nodded pouring himself some more peppermint tea "Seers are rare... beings... I bet your friend keeps you on your toes." Chrisof was thoughtful for a moment "Vampires keep to themselves unless provoked. Most of us have spent our time studying and acquiring life experiences. Some get bored with time and others go wild and mad with power. You have a very particular scent. For example I know you have been with other wolves, not quite like you but wolves just the same. You eat meat and exotic sauce recently. You smell of Daffodil and lavender and one of your friends smells of vanilla. It is faint but it is there. Your clothes carry the memories of the day the scent of snow, the anger of the wolf and the change comes of in waves. It is all part of learning to read people mixed with heightened senses." Chrisof smiled and offered Magnus a biscuit from an ornate plate that wasn't there a minute ago.

Magnus nodded. "I don't tell people I can smell more than the average 'uman. I smell you as earth, blood and salt. There's something else, but I can't tell what. Gaia, she smells o' owls, apples and vanilla and petrichor--you know, the smell o' dust after the rain. Well I guess maybe I'm adding in the smell cos she reminds me of a sunny rainy day in a field 'o daisies. I can see 'er twirling.
"I'm stronger and faster as well, than other 'umans. I don't fink most wizards know that. It certainly weren't in me text book. Dad says its cos I 'ave to be, to survive the shifting. A 'uman would die trying to go through the shift. But I don't share these things, cos you know... I want to be Magnus. I worry them knowing more would make me more of a freak. I even lied about not remembering what me wolf does. I do, though I 'ad to come clean about that. Me parents.. they love me and they are good people but they can't know what being supernatural is like--not like this anyway. I'm trying--still trying to cope with it meself, so 'ow could they know. I mean I was changed at 9--I guess there's a learning curve or something..." He was rambling, but it was the first time he had ever had a chance to talk with someone like him. Sure, St Mungos brought in a werewolf to explain but after that, it was just him trying to cope on his own.

I know being different is not easy but not all of us carry our differences on the outside." Chrisof chuckled "is this Gaia your girlfriend? You seem to know her well. Is she the one that smells like flowers? You seems to have a lot of girl friends or were you at the flower vendor? I mean there is a scent that clings to you but it is deep under the others. It is quite interesting. You might actually like an old guide to Herbology and Flowers. It is old but most of the plants within are quite useful in basic form. I got it from a Druid. They would study plants and keep records. This is one of those books. Come in handy while in school, for healers, and potion makers."
"I wouldnt mind carrying it. Its not too far, I don't want be any trouble. The color changing on sounds really cool. Have you used any of them yourself or do you prefer the classics?"
Magnus concidered the words carefully. "I guess you are right. Perhaps I will let those other details slide. Let people know. I just worry telling people I can smell their fear will send 'em running for cover and one day I'll 'ave nothing left but me an' me werewolf. I know enough to know a lotta werewolves end up like that." He blushed then, "Gaia's a dear friend o' mine. Pretty much met me at one 'o me worst moments and still accepted me. She's also in the same 'ouse so we hang around a lot." Then he laughed, "Well its true almost all me friends are girls. I'm a 'orrible flirt too. But yes, I was at the flower lady. Got some flowers for me girlfriend. 'Er name is Katsumi. Pretty name, isn't it? I love 'ow it almost rolls off the tongue like a dance. She's fierce, stubborn, fiesty, kind, witty... she challenges me, makes me work at getting her to laugh and smile--which is something I really like. But the one trait I like about 'er the most--she never lies.
"You're good. I love plants. Dad 'as a deeper connection that i do, I swear he makes plants sing, talk and grow--but then 'e's part fae. But I love plants too. They are little green pets. I love watchin' 'em grow."
The book intrigued him too.
(( and anyone I accidentally miss, Im changing my characters name back to Fable (same as my username) shes still a she wolf fae and not the character that I kinda played last term, never fleshed her out (the old character). I hope to be back soon))

Paddy wandered down the street with Snowden bouncing around her feet. She decided that she'd ask for the beef recipe if there was time to nip back into Las Palmas before heading back to Hogwarts, but she really needed to find the Broomstix Pop-up shop now, and see if there was a chance she might find a new broom. Her uncle had sent her some money as an early Christmas present, and she thought a broom might be a good investment. ()
