Nik looked up from the last of his burrito, analyzing her while he finished chewing. When he was done, he wiped his mouth and said " oh...?" trying not to look like anything was bothering him. "You going to forgive him..?" he said quietly. Then he nodded "things always look like they are super easy when they are laid out in black and white...putting them into practice, especially when it involves emotions...takes work."

He looked up when the man came inside, and saw his...attraction...? to the furry girl. He smiled, and said quietly to Snow, "You want Italian food tonight..? Assuming we can pack anything else in later tonight, of course. My treat.....?" he gave her an endearing smile.

Snow talked quietly with Nik "Well he explained he didnt know this part of himself, the part that got upset. So it is something he is coming to terms with..and I can understand that. But once he had time to get away and ground himself I think he realized he had left me hanging and felt bad. He hopes I will forgive him..and I do...I mean I know I cant always handle things either...like after this..I am going to want some privacy..Too many people and I start to feel drained ya know? Im an introvert. He does want to stay friends though and meet again one day, which might be nice." She looked at him. "Why are you looking so jealous?" She looked tired from all the stuff she had been through today but still gave him a small smile.

Nik spoke quietly to Snow. "You want to get out of here...? Everyone seems really...well, some are uncomfortable, and some are really outgoing. I'm pretty much filled up...we can head somewhere...like maybe there is a walking trail near by...get away from people for awhile." He looked thoughtful " I mean, we don't have to talk or anything, maybe we can just...clear our minds from all of the chaos." he shrugged "nature always makes me feel better, thought you might feel the same way."

Snow nods to him. "I think I need a break..I didnt think I would wear down so fast...and I realize the little jitters I am feeling are panic attacks."

"Hey Gaia? I need a wee break from the group, feeling a bit drained. Thank you for letting us sit with you. Maybe we can get together a bit later?" she gives a small smile and whispers "I think all the heightened emotions from the day have finally gotten to me." She hoped Gaia would understand.

"We should pay our portion of the bill..." digging in her purse.

Nik stood up, and dug in his bag...pulling out about 10 galleons and setting them on the table. "that cover our share...?" he said to Gaia, and smiled.

Nik looked at Snow " I got it, remember...?" he said gently. "Your money's no good while I am around."

"Nice meeting you all, " Nik said, as he took Snow's hand and led her away from the table, and out into the street.

“Thanks, Gaia,” he said, “appreciate it.” He gave her a small quick hug. “Wouldn’t expect you to try to stop it. ‘Sides I just need a mo and I’ll be fine.”

It wasn’t the first time someone told him he should be dead because of what he was, wouldn’t be the last he was sure as well. He excused himself from Kat for a brief moment and took his bag along with the potions up to the Ravenclaw tower. He swapped out his jacket and jumper for warmer ones, stuck a pencil behind his ear and picked a small sketchbook from his trunk to put in his back pocket. Then he rejoined Katsumi with Kippers in tow. She appeared to be fine.

"Well," Magnus said,"guess we can 'ave breakfast 'ere if you want. Then we can go back ta shoppin... unless you wanna just eat an walk?"

Magnus saw the letter at the top of the basket. He read Snow’s letter and frowned. He already paid his tab, the shop owner must have double billed them or something in all the confusion. He pulled out a piece of parchment and one of his pencils and penned a short note:

Snow: I appreciate your generosity; however, I cannot accept it. Here’s your money back. It’s nothing personal. I am responsible for my tab, and I take care of my responsibilities. I planned on taking care of it when I return, which will be soon. You have done nothing wrong, I don’t see why you would think that. I was never mad or upset by you. I am sorry about your penfriend and the pain that has caused. I really did mean it when I said I knew all about that, though I can’t say I know exactly how you feel, I can imagine and sympathize. If you ever wish to have an ear, mine is there.

If I added to your pain, I am sorry for that as well. My sole goal is to just be out and enjoy the day shopping, hanging out with friends and so on. I would like to have a chance at friendship with you but if that is not something you wish for, then I understand. Either way, I hope the rest of your time shopping at Hogsmede is more enjoyable.

He folded it, put it in an envelope and added coins to it. He could go to Gringotts if he needed more money, or have the shops bill his family’s vault. Then he whistled for Vega, who came like she had been waiting. He handed it to his owl and watched as she flew off.

Vega found Snow easily, and dropped the letter in her hands. Then she flew off and found Gaia, nipping affectionately.

Katsumi had a note from Snow as well, which she scanned quickly before tucking in a pocket. A thoughtful frown lingered on her face while Magnus dashed back up to the tower, though her expression cleared when he returned. She'd talk to the other witch as well, she decided. Snow had seemed upset, and if Thranduil had left suddenly after the Slytherin had waited so long to meet him, that had to be dreadful. Particularly if the girl wasn't always comfortable with people.

"I don't know how well this stuff will do with eating on the go," she said. "Let's find that spot Gaia mentioned -- it was terribly sweet of her, to do that for us. I'll have to find a way to thank her properly."

As they turned to head back out, Kat cast a quick spell and then put her fingers to her lips and gave a shrill whistle, the way she did to call Cato. "If we're going to be on the outskirts of Hogsmeade for a while, it'd do him good to get out. He's been being fussy as of late."

He nodded. "It was very kind." They went to the spot and began munching on the food.
He smiled as she called for her owl. "'opefully 'e'll 'ave a whoot." A grin crossed his face, pun play was a favourite.

Then Snow talked to her and Gaia smiled "I find that a walk through the Christmas tree lot is a refreshing and invigorating one. Sometimes I even find what I am looking for." Gaia smiled and gave Snow one of her looks. She knew something, but Snow needed to sort things out on her own. "That is very kind of you Nik!" Gaia turned to the rest if the table "look guys Nik paid for our meal!" Gaia grinned and waved them goodbye as she grabbed a bowl of fruit. "Aquilino you are being weirdly quiet." She added as she grabbed a strawberry from her bowl.

(OOC: I haven't forgotten, but I'm struggling to get into RP-Paddy's head today - I'll try again later, but if now, just imagine she's still eating, and I'll be back with the replies tomorrow morning ;))

(( giggle-snorts at what she said about Nik catching everyones meal. I think that waiter is over charging/not even bothering to write up a bill people just keep throwing money down! LOL))

Snow looked at the group before leaving. "Thank you for letting us sit with you all. I left some nut samples from Lydia at the nut cart for you guys to try, if Harper doesn't mind, She gave me a ton when I bought from her." So looked a bit awkward, "Umm just in case anyones struggling with gift ideas...my family loves them..and shes super nice. So..enjoy" she gave a little smile.

She looked down at her and smiled, Duddits was asleep in his harness again having eating taco toppings and other things. "Thank you for understanding. The Pine tree lot?" Snow had never been there...but it would be neat to see and she noticed her twinkling eyes. "Thank you for the suggestion. I dont think Ive every been there."

She turned to and gave a smile. "Thank you for the crunch and munch, Gaia says the tree lot is nice. I its not like the muggles version." a little frown crossed her face.
"My family uses a plastic tree as we dont want to hurt any. I always feel bad thinking the tree grew for years and years only to be cut down, enjoyed for a month, then tossed away." She walked with him and left Las Palmas.

"I mean I know the decorating of the tree was a way of honoring it in the past. But I dont think people think like that anymore. As well as in the past they would use the tree as well for firewood after and the needles for healing teas for the vitamin C." she realized she was rambling again and blushed. "Sorry Nik." she looked down and went silent.

Snow received and read the letter. It was kind of Magnus to send back her money and she did hope that the group could try again in the future to talk. She then pocketed the letter and kept walking.
