"Im sorry your father died. Where you close? Both my Dah and my Omi went to school at Hogwarts, my mum went to school at Ilvermorny. I hope you like Hogwarts, I do...my house one the cup last term." smiles seeming to be less suspicious because he is talking to her more like a normal person "Your cats sound lovely. Have you had cats before or are these your first?" she stops for a moment and takes out her copy of Dreamcatcher and looks at it. "You know..Ive just started getting into it...but while it seems familiar it also seems really new to me...Im wondering if I watched the movie, which I have many times, and forgot to read the book. I usually have a rule about that...but lately.." shrugs her shoulder walking with him. She looks into Las Palmas were she was earlier at the group still eating then looks down

"Nah, don't be sorry he's dead, I couldn't stand him...I don't know what my mom ever saw in him." Nik looked thoughtful "Ilvermorney...that's in America, right..? So you are half American..? that's cool...I want to go there some day, travel a bit now that I would be able to."

Nik smiled, " These are my first pets, ever. Dad wouldn't allow animals in the house. I don't think I will ever be without a pet again." He looked at the copy of the book she held in her hands. "You know, I used to think that, but then I was so disappointed in the movies afterward, that I started to do the reverse. It allowed me to enjoy the movie, then really enjoy the book afterward."

Nik noticed she looked into the window of the Las Palmas, and there were a group of kids inside. "Friends of yours..? We could join them, if you want. I could eat, and I like spicy food...and it would be my treat, since I couldn't get you nuts." He gave her a sincere smile, but as usual, his eyes glittered with a bit of mischief...or something close to it.

"People are complicated I guess. At least thats how I feel." Snow shrugged but looked sympathetic, then appreciating the subject change "Yes its in America...and yes technically I suppose I am. There are a lot of places I would love to go too as well..all over the world. Mostly woodsy areas."

Snow smiled listening. "Thats great that you can enjoy them...I started small...fish and hamsters...they are nice, but Duddits is my first uncaged critter."

Snow looked back from the window of Las Palmas and sighed. "I was trying to make friends with them...Other then shopping I had come down to meet a penpal from Beauxbatons who was considering transfering...lets just say it wasnt what he expected. Hogwarts and its students I mean." Snow kept it simple because she wasnt mad at Thranduil...a little disappointed but she understood.* "We were going to eat with them. The boy in there, shoveling the food into his mouth () thats Magnus and his friend Katsumi...and the very hairy one is Paddy (). They all are students...Ive been a bit apprehensive meeting people because I wasnt sure how theyd react to me." Snow looked back at Nik "Todays the first day...Ive shown my...unusualness" reaches and touches one of her ears. "I guess you could say its been a long day for me."

"Wooded places would be nice, but I am open to cities as well. So many cultures out there to experience ! Have you even been to America, or were you born here..? I think it's great you got to experience caged critters as well, some of them look like they would be a blast to watch."

"I'm sorry your pen pal didn't like the school and people, although I have heard that students from there can be...well, quite upper class snobs, actually. Think they own the world. " Nik shook his head. "Well, his loss then. " He looked closer as she described the people. "Is that, the furry one..what..what happened..? jinx ? spell backfire...? It looks like a wookie." Nik couldn't help but stare in the window.

"That little guy sure can eat, " he said. "You want to go in..? We don't have to sit with them if you aren't up to socializing."

Nik looked at her and smiled. " I think you look great...I really like your features, all of them," he said. Then he leaned in close again and whispered " Some of them even more than others." and he winked.

Snow looked surprise at first and then slowly smiled. "Depending on the city I think I might be able to get into it...Im not the best with large groups of people, especially in compact areas. Ive never been to America, though I wouldnt mind seeing it. I was born in Europe...I think.." She gives a nervous smile.

"Thranduil is nice, we plan to stay penpals and friends...I just dont think he knew how different Beauxbatons was from Hogwarts...though he did seem to be out of sorts when he got around the other students." She sighs. "It would have been nice to have a friend at school...hes one of the people who encouraged me to be brave and be myself in the magical community." she gives a little shrug.

"Oh Paddy, SHE," as she chuckles a little "is a werewolf, so is Magnus, another reason I was concerned...being I smell like a wolf..but em not a wolf. I dont know what exactly happened but her transfermation causes her to be furry all the time. I kinda feel for her...think of all the shampoo and conditioner her fur must need...and combing...oi...but shes always seemed very nice. I think she was the last straw for Thranduil."

She looked up at Nik, "Youd want to try and meet them with me? Your not..going to run out or anything are you?" she gives him wary eyes. "I mean..I could eat."

She blushed at Niks last comment her ears going down and back. "Thats mostly kind of you to say...are you always so...sassy mouthed?" Her head tilted at this. "I mean because Ive seen movies with men like you in them...and I know you type...and dont think I wouldnt hesitate to hex you for being wicked." She gives him a stern look her ears upright and forward then she looks back in...sniffing the air.

"I wander if they have that sweet corn bread stuff...My parents took me to this muggle restaurant once called ChiChis and the meal can with this like..Icecream scoop shaped cornbread stuff...it was so good."

Magnus felt the girl looking before he saw her. They were being stared at. Snow was back. Magnus smiled to his friends. "Give me a mo," he said, "be right back." He got up and went crossed to go outside. "'Ey Snow," he said once outside. "You feeling better? Thrudnal coming back? Did I do something wrong?" He'd couldn't help but feel like he'd done something. To the new boy he said, "'Ello. Friend o Snow's?"

Snow looked surprised that Magnus had so willingly come up to her after earlier. "Hey Magnus, this is Nik." She looked down and uncomfortable. "Thranduil...decided..that Hogwarts might not be the...right place for him. Then he had to go talk to his parents...so i dont think he will be able to join us again." she looked down and fidgited with Duddits harness

"Well, yes," Nik said, " it does depend on what city. Some are too dangerous, some too..IDK just boring I think. " He laughed. " I mean, it all depends on what you wanted to do in a certain city whether or not you would go there. For instance, two weeks in Paris MIGHT be enough, after you have spent most of the time at The Louvre, of course."

"Thranduil, hmm...? After the elf-king..? Well, since you plan to stay friends with him, I won't say anything more...for now."

" I can't imagine how much products she goes through...I have never heard of a were-wolf getting stuck like that. Does she drink potions daily...? Has she rampaged through the halls..? How does she keep her mind..? " Nik looked thoughtful, considering all the questions he was asking. He would really like to know.

"I don't much care one way or the other if we meet with them or not, I mean, if you want to..sure. They are potential classmates, and yes, I am rather hungry. Oh no, I am not going anywhere...you have already seen how persistent I am with you...I'm not leaving until I get your contact info and a kiss," he said, grinning.

Nik outright laughed when she got all feisty and threatened him. He was starting to like this girl more and more. "You certainly have spirit," he said, still laughing. " Duly noted: I have been warned."

"They might have something like that in there," he said, looking back, and seeing the young nommer walking up to the door.

"Hello, littlest wolf," Nik said, keeping an eye on him, but giving him a polite smile. He knew it wasn't the full moon, so he wouldn't/SHOULDN"T have any issues with the guy. No worries about alphas here.

"Oh..." he said. Her countance said it was partly Magnus' fault. It was his turn to look down. "I'm sorry."

Then he looked at the boy more intently. He was older than Magnus. "Littlest wolf?" he asked with a hint of irritation. He wasn't exactly little and he was taller, stronger than Paddy was.

Nik laughed. "Now now, it's not an insult, cool your hackles. I can't call you "little wolf" because that term is already reserved for future use, so Littlest Wolf is what is left. Your furry friend, maybe... will be Little Wolfling...yes, I like that. It sounds feminine, " he said with a grin. "Unless you would prefer that one...?"

Nik stared at the boy, his blue eyes glittering. He was clearly amused.

Nik saw the adult coming outside to speak to them. He listened to what the man...was he wearing mistletoe on his head..?????? had to say, and put out his cigarette, taking the butt with him. he wondered why the guy was insinuating that he would be trouble..

Nik turned to Snow " you want to follow them..?" as he watched the man head back inside. " I'm game."

Magnus' eyebrows knitted together with a cross look. "I 'ave enough reminder 'o what I am wif out a 'alf arsed nickname, especially since I just met you." He guessed Snow had told him and wasn't sure how he felt about that. True he told everyone he was but it was his choice.

Snow was thoughtful "Oh yes I would love to see the Louvre, and there natural gardens...and some of the scenery of France..I hear its wonderful to backpack. and yes...he was named after the elf king...his parents are big into Tolkien."

she looked up at him and sighed. "listen...I dont see anything wrong with you or Paddy...Thranduil and I said we were staying friends and penpals. I get why youd want to blame yourself...but dont...ok...I mean really if anyone has the right to be pissed its me."

She walked in to Las Palmas after the guy with the mistletoe

Snow grumbled about how Thranduil was supposed to be supporting her as she basically exposed herself for the freak that she is and he just bailed on her. I have to go to school with these people..not like I have a Men in Black mind eraser to blank out what they saw." (underbreath but clearly upset)

"Sir.." () Snow beckoned to the man trying to be polite.."when you have a moment I have a question..."

If Magnus gives Snow a cross look she will look back. "What. Did I upset your sensibilities?"

Nik looked at the boy, who seemed SO angry. "You don't like turning into a wolf..? That's too bad, LITTLEST WOLF, it's a fact of life..embrace it or just go off yourself, no reason to be all self-loathing about it."

"Now, c'mon, you two, I want to eat, and be introduced to the walking carpet," Nik said, grinning. How could anyone possibly take offense to that...? She is like freaking Chewbacca, how cool is that..?

(()) "Do you think you its possible to make one of those fruity drinks they have with the garnishes?" she looked up hopeful and an assortment of tacos, carnitas, pastries, they all sound good...but do you have the the little sweet cornbread? Im not sure what its exactly called but its like cornbread...only a little sweeter?"

Snow sighs "Come on guys...do we really need a fight?

He had every right to be upset, if the guy turned his back on the girl because of him. But he was also miffed at not having the choice to tell whom he wanted about being a werewolf.
"Me sensibilities? No. Me feelings, maybe. I should 'ave the right to tell people. I am a bit miffed that you told 'im I'm a werewolf without a second thought. But more to it, I'm upset that your friend left--that 'e couldn't 'andle someone different. I was upset for you, because I know what its liked to be shunned. Both me adopted parents 'ave family that don't like me solely because 'o what I am. If that makes you mad at me, well whatever. " He was hurt and upset.

"Me name is Magnus," he said to the jerk, "And If I wanted your advice, I'd've asked for it. You don't 'ave any right to counsel me. What do you know about it anyway?"

"Er, gemmie a moment, please." He said to the mistletoe wearing man, "I've got ingestion."

"Don't be getting all pissed off at her, " Nik said, " she didn't have to tell me, I could smell your wolf from outside. I don't have any right to counsel you..? I was just telling it like it is, Littlest Wolf, in this world you deal with crap, or you walk away, and since there ain't no cure for what you got, death is walking away. So suck it up and stop whining about it, and feeling sorry for yourself. Man up ! "

Snow looked apologetically at the man..."ummm berries are good...I love raspberries...I will be right back..Im going to go and try to break em up."

Snow walked out in with a swift wand movement pointed it at Nik "Petrificus Totalus" then turned her wand to Magnus "Windgarium Leviosa"
